- The McMurtry Spierling is the fastest production car ever made, faster than F1 cars even owing to its state of the art fan system that gives it 2000kg of downforce when the driver needs it. The Spierling destroyed Nick Heidfeld's Goodwood Hill Run Record by 2 seconds confirming what many suspected- this car is the future. Driven by ex F1 driver Max Chilton, it will be going for the record at the Goodwood Festival of Speed again this year. In this video we look how an electric vehicle without an engine is faster than an F1 car.

The Flurry, but only one lap, that’s just the problem, it hasn’t the endurance energy. But cool it is, it makes me thinking about those quarter mile cars in the US, one purpose only.
Same driver for both cars I've got to think the RB19, but that fan... that McFlurry makes downforce standing still.

Colin Chapman was well aware of underground aero he invented the adustable skirts in F1
McMurtry, at all but the highest speeds it has greater or equal to the downforce of an F1 car.

That car is bonkers! I remember when clips of the McMurtrys trip up the hill at Goodwood first appeared online last year and it doesn’t look real! It looks like it’s been sped up! It’s that uncanny valley type type sensation. Crazy piece of machinery.
