Okay I can't be the only person who, as a kid, watched the Hills and loved Lo and is now rewatching through the lens of an adult and feels she is pretty nasty? (At least how she acts/is portrayed on the show is nasty, not saying she is that way in real life).
The "dirty boys" comment was really uncalled for. But to her defense, a lot of people are bitchy and judgmental in their younger years and mature over time and become better people.
Never cared for her. Those “dirty boys” are all the “boys” I grew up with. Family, friends, my husband. It’s not fair to just look at someone and say “they’re dirty”. That’s dirty! And just not nice.
I thought it was somewhat funny when I was younger because credit where credit is due - she’s clever about her backhanded compliments and manipulations. However, now I’m older it feels chaotic and gross to me thinking about having to deal with that.
I hate how they're trying to spin a narrative that Lauren is being "dramatic" for not wanting to spend time with Heidi. Heidi's boyfriend and honestly Heidi by proxy spread a terrible rumor about her that almost destroyed her life and that left her shattered. Lauren has every right to never ever want to look at Heidi again and she's being so polite about Audrina wanting to be friends with Heidi but it also must hurt a little to see your roommate hang out with someone who did something so terrible to you. It absolutely makes sense that she wouldn't want someone who did that to her in her home or anywhere near her. And frankly she's being more mature than she needs to be and yet they're making it seem like she's in the wrong here. Idgi...
Exactly. And it wasn't just the rumor aspect of it either. Heidi & Spencer did SEVERAL interviews about it claiming that it was real, and how Heidi tried to help Lauren get the tape. Then they made sure they bashed her good name. All of that was done OFF camera. Then for the show Heidi was always playing the victim; "It was Spencer not me, so i don't understand why we can't just move on and be friends."
Does heidi really get it twisted or is she just trying to twist it? There's a big difference between Lauren "not wanting" Heidi to be friends with Audrina- and Lauren just not having a good time if heidi is around. But heidi spins it as Lauren trying to control people instead of Lauren simply enforcing her own boundaries and trying to have a relaxing night.
It's actually not Lo that pulled things apart. It's Justin Bobby. As the show continues you can see him encouraging Audrina to pull away and making her think Lauren and Lo hate her. Lauren and Lo witnessed/listened to Audrina talk about how awful Justin was to her. As lots of friends do, when Audrina went back to him after Justin blatantly disrespected her multiple time, Lauren and Lo, cautiously, were like "wait. But what about all the stuff that happened with him before?". Aware of that Justin Bobby got in Audrina's head and did his whole "who care's? What does it matter thing?" and convinced Audrina that Lauren and Lo were against her. That's why no matter what Lauren and Lo said, Audrina wouldn't hear it...She couldn't because being closer to them meant going against Justin Bobby. It's the same thing Spencer did with Heidi.
You nailed it. JB is a narcissistic, insecure gaslighter just like Spencer. They have to alienate people their victims from people who actually love them in fear they will open their eyes to what is really happening.
Yeah I also think Lo and Audrina just had personalities that didn't mix, and Audrina took really big issue with anyone having commentary on her relationship with Justin, especially someone that she wasn't close with.
I really hope you guys consider watching Laguna beach after you finish the hills because I would literally die to see timmy’s reactions and commentary lol.
Heidi is telling Audrina exactly what she wants to hear concerning Justin. She's using that storyline to get closer to Audrina to eventually get closer to Lauren. Her encouragement regarding Justin isn't coming from an honest place. Lauren knows and is so over it.
I think Lauren did want to live with audrina she just foresaw the future issues of audrina inviting people over she didn’t like and didn’t know how to handle it.
I think you're totally right, but I almost wonder if it was more that Lauren could tolerate the people Audrina would bring over, but knew that Lo couldn't/would be uncomfortable and didn't want to be in the middle of that
I'm gonna come from the other side of things and say that I do think that Lauren wanted to remain friends and live with Audrina here and maybe there was a bit of tension and awkwardness due to Heidi continually popping into their shit and Lauren not approving of JB, but Lo asked her a few times, do you still want to live with Audrina and she said multiple times that she did. Plus, we got to see them enjoying being roommates prior to this. I think a large part of it was the producers popping Lo in as a third wheel and there was this awkwardness there that can sometimes exist when there's three people looking to connect... it doesn't always get there.
I understand why Lauren would want to leave and I don’t think Heidi has the purest of intentions, especially when she’s engaging with Justin, as if they’re great friends. Then when she’s communicating with Spencer she isn’t at all truthful about wanting to mend her relationship with Lauren. I wish we lived in the world where Heidi dumped him, and we see her blossom into the fun loving protagonist she was meant to be.

Timmy: “Did you have a crush on Steven?” Whitney: “Yes!” **Timmy stares out the window disgusted.** 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg the Audrina, Lo, Lauren convo was sooo uncomfortable. I've had interactions with "friends" like this where it's like "Well, do you already know where you want to go on vacation? No? Well, we have thought about going to xy. Are you planning to go somewhere at all?" it's so so hurtful. And how they talk about her dating life. Poor girl.
So I just don't get that with everyone else, it's their storyline and that's why they are acting the way they do...but when it comes to Lauren, it all has to be presumed as real, and she's being mean...am I the only one that feels this way?
Fun fact: I met Stephen at a bar in la a few years back and did his birth chart LOL he’s all Aquarius.. and we made out which was a dream of mine since Laguna beach days! Hahahaa he’s sweet
Hahahaha to be honest not much to reveal! He was totally sweet and humble. We hung out for a bit then he left with some friends , and I left with mine!
Lo obviously knows more about who on the show has been conniving and is there to protect Lauren. I noticed as the seasons went on Lauren connected more with her Laguna friends and started moving away from her Hollywood friends. More to do with what was being said in blogs, blind items etc. A lot of people on the show became hungry for fame and would plant nasty stories to build up their personas. It was pretty cutthroat.
I had a friend similar to Audrina; introverted and kind of “cool.” I think Lauren genuinely wanted audrina to live with her but she’s just not sure how to present it to her because she doesn’t know how audrina will react so it comes out kind of awkward. When it comes to Lo and audrina, I really feel like it’s just a case of 2 very different personalities.
when Lauren was recording the narration of the Previously Ons and had to talk about Speidi all the time, i wonder if she was thinking wow i soooooo dont give a shit about their drama lol
U dont think heidi will sque things in their/his favour? She seems to lean towards protecting him over the "truth" no? I am so curious what she would say, would love her inthe mix for sure, and agree spencer is probably fobading it
It was, and as most of us know, gets worse. It makes me think some animosity was really there. And sorry but I blame Lo for it (because once Kristin comes on, Lo starts crap again).
I just have to say.. I actually LOVE watching these videos of you and your husband rewatching the episodes. Your reactions are everything and the chemistry and love and weirdness between you two is GOALS AF
The fact that it's so far into season 3 and Heidi still dances around admitting to what happened and playing any part in it drives me nuts. To this day in interviews she says the same garbage. Lauren was way too good to be friends with someone like her. Looking back at it now I see why their friendship didn't last very long.
How toxic is Heidi? Audrina just told her that she’s having a hard time getting over JB and one of the first things Heidi says is: Let me get out of your way so you can sit next to Audrina and ‘We should all hang out!’ NO Heidi, JB is bad news! You should steer him away from her. Arrrgh. Gets me all worked up again like it did then.
Lo is loyal to Lauren. She’s the kind of friend I want. Audrina wasn’t a good friend. She knew how Lauren feel about Heidi and still chose to hang out with Heidi.
I dunno. She was really rude to her I think it was more so about jealousy…..audri is a peace maker. Even if she is loyal why is she talkin about audri behind her back and then so cold to her as time passed on.
Whit and Tim's face when Audrina, Lauren and Lo were having that awkward conversation about whether or not she was going to live with them still...priceless!!🤣🤣 That's exactly what everyone was probably wondering, it was like TF?! Are you all inviting Audrina or not?? I felt really bad for Audrina, but I was glad to see her stand up for herself in season 4 to Lo. I don't think Lo is really like that in real life, but her vibe on the show comes off real snide.
@@ceejay3813 yes I remember that episode, I was so mad about that cause it didn't make sense at all, Lauren and Justin?? Yeah right!! But I just mean before that how Lo was kind of being a lame towards Audrina, you know one minute she acted cool with her for the sake of Lauren but on the flip side, she kind of turned her nose up to Audrina like she was better than her.
Heidi, always obsessed with being friends with Lauren yet gets near her and shit talks her one person away. You are toxic, she knows it now go play with Spencer and stop using Audrina and Stephanie to try to weasel your way back in. Lauren has denied you access to her energy for life! lol I love her saying she was friends with Audrina first, what that one day you knew her longer? Justin always knows how to clean up, speak like an adult and worm his way back into Audrina's life. She takes it like bait every time. Lauren's point was she STOPPED going back to Jason, meaning she learned her lesson. Audrina just keeps playing the dum-dum role with JB and asking for his abuse. How nice is Lauren supposed to be towards a guy who has repeatedly disrespected both her and her friend? At least she isn't being fake about her feelings. If you don't want your friends to share opinions on your bf then stop talking to them about him! I don't think it's any more "mean" that Audrina openly hanging out with Lauren's arch enemy. This is why rewatching these with others is so entertaining, we can see things VERY differently and still agree to disagree lol
@@son1marc it’s okay to take control of your life and take out people that don’t help you grow and be better. Just because you were friends with someone for a long time doesn’t mean you have to keep them in your life

I don't think it is "good for you Audrina" - I'd be absolutely livid if my so called best friend started becoming close to a person that betrayed me on such a disgusting level. I actually only judge Lauren for not cutting Audrina out sooner. It's ridiculous.
It's obvious Heidi is using Audrina as a stepping stone to get to Lauren. Lauren is a smart girl and knew Heidi just needed someone that is a push over to film with because her story line was boring. I think Lauren didn't want Audrina being used. And she also didn't want Heidi bulldozing her way into her life.
I don't know what it is, but every time Timmy looks directly at the camera with that snarky look, I crack up laughing 🤣 These two are too forking funny and I love it!
I feel like I remember reading at that time that they had already moved into a house like months before this and only went to the apartment to film and that’s part of why the house storyline is so weird bc they were just “moving” for the show and had in reality already moved.
In some previous scenes in this season when Audrina or Lauren would walk into the apartment and say 'Hi' it always seemed that they were visiting, rather than coming home.
06:00 Stephani end up looking just like the way Heidi looks in this episode but 10 years after in The Hills: New Begginings with all her cosmetic procedures and her british accent!

Lauren was mean to Audrina several times on this series whether she realized it or not. It’s good Timmy is calling her out a bit. Audrina was always so nice and just tried to side step it and never even defended herself.
Its annoying how all these girls complain that lauren doesnt like their ex and they are the ones bitching to Lauren when they are having problems with them.
Such a disappointing episode with how Lauren treated Audrina. I think her guard was going up because Heidi was sniffing around, but that shouldn't be Audrina's cross to bear. Her eyes always look so sad and insecure. Big love to Audrina.
100%! The passive aggressive "i never went back to Jason" comment... like???.... Jason was quite clearly abu$ive towards Lauren, was on some serious narcotics and was just a massively toxic person to be around... and Justin..... is a f*ckboy... thats it.... just a plain and simple f*ckboy. There is absolutely no comparison between the two and Lauren was dead wrong for making that comment, knowing it would humiliate Audrina and be broadcast to millions of people.
@@jasonenglisbe9646 Keep in mind Lauren 100% partook in the bullying of Audrina in season 2. Eg, laughing and gossiping when she turned up to Heidis birthday & being 2 faced when having conversations with her. Yeah agreed!!! wow, this girl takes absolutely no responsibility for any of her actions, and is kinda a snake fr
It was so cringy 😂
It's so weird that Heidi says she wants to be Lauren's friend so badly but then sits at her table and just starts talking about her when she is right there. lmao Props to Lauren for not snapping in that moment because I probably would. lol
Okay I can't be the only person who, as a kid, watched the Hills and loved Lo and is now rewatching through the lens of an adult and feels she is pretty nasty? (At least how she acts/is portrayed on the show is nasty, not saying she is that way in real life).
Whaaaatttt!? Even as a 13 year old when i first started watching Laguna Beach i knew Lo was a b!tch! Now im 30 years old and STILL cant stand her.
You're not the only one; I'm watching back in shock now lmao.
Totally agree! Lauren acted way more mature then they did and seriously way more mature then than what heidi and spencer are now!
I know there was a rumour about LC doing a sex tape with Jason, but was that it?
@@antoniafaheerty6980 no. Spencer also went on a blog and said really disgusting things about Lauren
Right.
well put! Totally agree,,
It's actually not Lo that pulled things apart.
YESSS
Omg yes!
It’s a must!
That HAS to happen! Laguna has my heart.
Yes!
Heidi is telling Audrina exactly what she wants to hear concerning Justin. She's using that storyline to get closer to Audrina to eventually get closer to Lauren. Her encouragement regarding Justin isn't coming from an honest place. Lauren knows and is so over it.
Yes Whitney subtly spilling the tea about drama on the upcoming season of The Hills
Still not gonna watch it though, but love the insights!
@@HeidyL0 it’s definitely not the same show (at all), but I can’t help but watch
I think Lauren did want to live with audrina she just foresaw the future issues of audrina inviting people over she didn’t like and didn’t know how to handle it.
I agree!
Omg I can’t be only one who would LOVE to see Timmy on The Hills: New Beginnings with Whit! He’s just too cute 😍🥰lol right..? RIGHT?! 💙🙏🏽🙌🏽
He actually was on the hills but just for a small little bit 💓
When Heidi talks to Spencer she twists things. She twists a lot of things.
Timmy: “Did you have a crush on Steven?”
Whitney: “Yes!”
**Timmy stares out the window disgusted.**
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg the Audrina, Lo, Lauren convo was sooo uncomfortable. I've had interactions with "friends" like this where it's like "Well, do you already know where you want to go on vacation? No? Well, we have thought about going to xy. Are you planning to go somewhere at all?" it's so so hurtful. And how they talk about her dating life. Poor girl.
So I just don't get that with everyone else, it's their storyline and that's why they are acting the way they do...but when it comes to Lauren, it all has to be presumed as real, and she's being mean...am I the only one that feels this way?
Good point!
YESSSSSS
Yup!! They're way too harsh on Lauren, when we know a lot of the scenes could've been easily edited to look a certain way.
YES! Lauren is always picked on yet Audrina (who was a crappy friend) gets pity. I don't get it.
yes, 1000% it always confuses me lol
I love how beanies used to be an accessory totally unrelated to the weather.
Lo's judgy personality always rubbed me the wrong way 😒
Same same
She’s awful
Fun fact: I met Stephen at a bar in la a few years back and did his birth chart LOL he’s all Aquarius.. and we made out which was a dream of mine since Laguna beach days! Hahahaa he’s sweet
excuse me ma'am i am gonna need more deetz
Hahahaha to be honest not much to reveal! He was totally sweet and humble. We hung out for a bit then he left with some friends , and I left with mine!
Was he a good kisser ?
Omg luckyyy 💞
Lived the dream omg 😩
Watching Lo gives me flashbacks of being bullied by mean girls in middle school.
when Lauren was recording the narration of the Previously Ons and had to talk about Speidi all the time, i wonder if she was thinking wow i soooooo dont give a shit about their drama lol
I always think the same thing!!
Omg me too
I didn't realized back then how Heidi's face have already changed a bit on this season
Guys Spencer won’t let Heidi come watch the show with you cause he’s prob afraid of what conclusions will be drawned
U dont think heidi will sque things in their/his favour? She seems to lean towards protecting him over the "truth" no? I am so curious what she would say, would love her inthe mix for sure, and agree spencer is probably fobading it
@@casim3299 she will but it seems like it’s much of a sore subject in their marriage
I do not like how Lo treats Audrina. She makes my skin crawl.
Same. She gives off very unfriendly vibes. I would hate to just be in a 1 minute elevator ride with her.
The entire lo vs Audrina living situation made me feel SO bad for Audrina. I dont know if it was all fake or staged, but it sucked.
It was, and as most of us know, gets worse. It makes me think some animosity was really there. And sorry but I blame Lo for it (because once Kristin comes on, Lo starts crap again).
@@SLone3251 it felt a little too real. Gives me flashbacks of being passively bullied by so called "friends"
It was fake
@@kathtsmall6405 for some reason. That doesn't make me feel any better
@@kathtsmall6405 Allegedly. According to Lo. Who may be mortified at how she behaved.
I just have to say.. I actually LOVE watching these videos of you and your husband rewatching the episodes. Your reactions are everything and the chemistry and love and weirdness between you two is GOALS AF
BOOK and TRACHEA lmfao I am deceased 💀
trachea squeezed every bit of air out of my lungs
Good point!!
I agree, that’s why she wanted to move out with Lo. She wanted her dependable friend.
I dunno. She was really rude to her I think it was more so about jealousy…..audri is a peace maker. Even if she is loyal why is she talkin about audri behind her back and then so cold to her as time passed on.
Tim cracks me up!! Especially at the end with the Steven stuff... so relatable 🤣
She’s so fake
Lol Audrina stood up to her by accusing her of liking Justin Bobby. Nah that was so lame.
@@8199shaun Yeah I never liked Lo. She was always snotty.
@@ceejay3813 Facts!!
This is where the real juicy juice starts
Lmaoo yes
Lmao yes the juicy juice 🤣 i live that
This is where I started questioning Audrinas loyalty as a gf. And Lo's intentions as LC's friend.
@@brandawg881 yep.
Yes, and it's why I totally get Lauren separating herself from everyone after she left the show.
@@jasonenglisbe9646 yup! None of them are true friend material (apart from whit maybe). There’s no loyalty to one another.
Lauren is a control freak
@@son1marc it’s okay to take control of your life and take out people that don’t help you grow and be better. Just because you were friends with someone for a long time doesn’t mean you have to keep them in your life
It’s funny how Heidi wanted space but comes over to see how Spencer is 😂 too obsessed with each other. Classic.
I think Audrina’s relationship with Justin is the most toxic relationship ever and it lasted for soooo long! It almost looks like she doesn’t have self love 😪
“If you don’t like either save your money and go out to dinner.”
Loved this!!! Such a pure, sweet, funny soul lol 😆
Lo’s facial expression throughout the wardrobe scene 🤖
Audrina really played both sides but ended up befriending Heidi? I feel like Lo was just being defensive for her gf! Audrina was being shadey af
I love Lo , yes she may seem mean but she literally just speaks her mind and says the things we all think
“You can’t sit at our table when you’re dating a dirty” 🤣🤣
"It's fucking bullshit you went out with Stephen Colletti and Bordy!" lol 😂
Its really happenink
I feel like I remember reading at that time that they had already moved into a house like months before this and only went to the apartment to film and that’s part of why the house storyline is so weird bc they were just “moving” for the show and had in reality already moved.
In some previous scenes in this season when Audrina or Lauren would walk into the apartment and say 'Hi' it always seemed that they were visiting, rather than coming home.
At min 13ish Heidi almost slipped again, basically said I don‘t care about Audrina I just want to come closer to Lauren again.

Oh my gosh Timmy breathing fire killed me
Its annoying how all these girls complain that lauren doesnt like their ex and they are the ones bitching to Lauren when they are having problems with them.

K Todd was the guy who got them into the clubs. That's why he was on every night out episode
@@nymphacissa I take HUGE issue with the things that TV shows chose to broadcast and encourage in the 90s/early 2000s. Disgusting
Keep in mind Audrina had fallen out with Heidi before Lauren did because of Spencer. Audrina also knows what Speidi did to Lauren.
@@jasonenglisbe9646 completely agree. But I don't like Lauren been... Passive aggressive was called for.
@@jasonenglisbe9646 Keep in mind Lauren 100% partook in the bullying of Audrina in season 2. Heidi knew what she was doing going over to that table, practically using Audrina to get to Lauren. And Audrina and Heidi acting like they were the best of friends 😂 Heidi iced her out in season 2, Audrina left the club crying, and Heidi chose to see Audrina as some hussy going after "her man".
Lo is so snarky. The awkwardness of the 3 of them living together is coming up 😬 Lo is so mean to Audrina. Felt bad for her. Lauren, as much as I like her, was blind to how Lo was bitchy to Audrina.
