What an episode! Lauren’s tear and Lady Gaga! It’s mind blowing to me the fact that this show had such super stars like Lady Gaga before they were even famous. The conversation between Lauren and Audrina felt very genuine and real. I think deep inside they both wanted to continue growing their friendship, and I think they both tried. They were simply too different (interests, personalities) and that’s ok. I think Whitney and Timmy sometimes go harsh on Lauren, more so than any of the other characters. I think they should analyze Justin more closely. He’s not all that “nice”, as he pretends to be lately with Audrina.

I felt like Audrina was a bad communicator. So the tension built up because Audrina never wanted to address things. Lauren would try and it wouldn't go anywhere. I also don't think Lauren was yelling, just feeling very frustrated. Overall, it was probably a friendship that had run its course, but they hadn't yet come to terms with that.
Yeah, I completely disagree. Audrina told her how she felt and Lauren continued to have people do her dirty work, not defend Audrina, and act innocent. I'm starting to see a pattern that I never saw before with her. Lauren is very manipulating and toxic, but she is just very, very smart about it. She keeps her hands clean. She is not the type of person that has genuine friends for long. If they aren't playing by her rules, she will make sure they lose as much as she can control.

It was both of their faults that their friendship wasn't working not just Lauren's. Imo, I do believe Audrina didn't really want to be friends as Lauren claimed and you will see in a later season another incident why I believe this to be true.

The real reason for their argument was that they shared management and apparently there were offers that were supposed to be for Audrina but were giving to Lauren instead and that made Audrina uncomfortable. Plus Audrina put a lock in her door and that made Lauren uncomfortable. A producer also said that the black madcara tear was enhanced digitally for a more dramatic effect.

*Disclaimer* I'm not trying to attack what Timmy and Whit are saying, I'm just offering a different perspective. When I watch these episodes especially now, I try and remember that they we don't get a clear picture of their everyday life. We got a 22 minute epsiode once a week. It's easy for editors or whatever to not include scenes of Lauren trying to include Audrina in things. We don't see everything that happens off camera.
Right! Whitney and Tim are both knowledgeable about that, so just because they like Audrina and think Justin bobby is nice, they get a pass. But when Lauren is defending herself and in the show, she reached out to Audrina, they feel like it's an attack or Lauren not making an effort. They say they want to play neutral to everybody, it just does not seem that way. But I'm not trying to attack Whitney and Tim cause they're funny. I'm just sensing that they don't like Lauren and that's okay!

Ive been watching this for 2 weeks now and I was a huge fan of LC. Im still am, but looking back, she's the type of friend that you can count on. Like shes there 100%, at the same time she has that persona that would always interfere in your life and has that feeling of obligation towards here that you owe every ounce of explanation, attention to her about you life. I get that Whitney’s filming a show with Audrina, Heidi, and Spencer. But it’s so weird watching their non-reaction to Spencer and Heidi, and even Audrina, being crappy, immediately followed by them going so hard on Lauren. They’ve always been harsher on Lauren, but this season it’s super obvious. They’re painting Audrina to be this innocent girl who just wants to have fun and stay out of drama but that’s not the case. They were in their early 20s, navigating adult friendships. Everybody had screw ups at that time in their lives. Both Lauren and Audrina were wrong in that situation. Yes, Lauren should’ve tried harder to make sure that Audrina didn’t feel left out. There are other valid criticisms of Lauren, but I don’t have to type them out because Tim and Whit already stated them. But Audrina isn’t innocent either, i.e., talking about Lauren to Justin Bobby, while saying none of it to Lauren’s face. (She had every right to drag Lo lol). She can’t expect Lauren to know exactly what she’s feeling. She’s an adult. She should’ve spoken up. And then Whitney said she hasn’t seen Lauren trying, when Lauren just listed two examples of her trying, neither of which Audrina denied, Lauren threw Audrina a bday party, tried to reach out when she went to the back house, etc. And even so, they say that the show is edited to make a story, so can’t it be true that Lauren trying was edited out to create drama? If anything, we didn’t see Audrina try at all. The only convo they had about Lo was when Lauren went to talk to her. In my opinion, Audrina was over the friendship and dragged out the whole “feeling left out” storyline for the show. Though I think that based on this episode, they were both rightfully hurt and equally to blame. I don’t think Lauren was making it about herself. BOTH of them were hurt, not just Audrina. Lauren had a right to feel upset too. Definitely didn’t need to yell at Audrina though. That was too much even if she did have valid points lol. Tim and Whit are super one sided here. I assume it’s because she’s still friends with Audrina. Also, when Lauren mentioned Audrina at the fashion show, it was very obviously ADR. Anyone else, Tim would’ve called that out, but instead they paint it as Lauren being annoying for bringing it up? And I’m sorry, Tim and Whit have said that people are just playing their roles, hitting beats. And unfortunately, Whit’s role was “Lauren’s work bff.” So them harping on Lauren ignoring Whitney (clearly editing), or not inviting her places, is a little much. It also rubbed me the wrong way that they said that a friend would never describe something their friends did as weird, as if Lauren was being shady. Like come on. Let’s be realistic here. 1. Weird doesn’t have an inherently negative connotation. It literally means strange or unconventional. I took it as Lauren saying she’s willing to do things foreign to her or out of her comfort zone, as long as she’s with her friend. 2. I seriously doubt Tim or Whit have never used weird/strange to describe something someone close to them has done. My friends and I call each other or our actions weird all the time. No one takes offense to it because we know that we have different interests that others just don’t get. And again, weird does not equal bad. Especially since they ignored the main point of her comment, which was basically “I’m willing to be uncomfortable/do things I don’t want to because you’re my friend.” It’s almost as if they’re digging for something to criticize Lauren. Idk. It’s not that I think Lauren’s perfect. It’s just their standards for everyone else on the show are so much lower. Yes, we can agree to disagree on many things. But even objectively, the standards for Lauren vs. everyone else are different. We can at least agree to that much even if we agree to disagree about the actual criticisms. I enjoy the funny commentary and Tim’s impersonations, including when Lauren’s being a brat. But the criticism part of the reactions is so unbalanced, which is why so many people point it out. It can be hard to watch at times. If everyone else on the show were criticized too, no one would notice the reactions to Lauren. I doubt Audrina, Heidi, or Spencer would have an issue with you criticizing their younger selves; they might even agree. And if they did make it a big deal, idk maybe they aren’t people to film a show with. Just a thought.

Her facial expressions & behavior came across as genuine but it was so odd because it was obvious Lauren & JB did not like each other from the beginning & had no vibe or connection whatsoever. Plus, Lauren was never that type of girl. I didn’t like how she treated Lauren in comparison to Justin in that whole situation either. Like, she was more upset she may have pushed Justin away than she was that she hurt Lauren by accusing her of something like that in the first place.

The real reason for their argument was that they shared management and apparently there were offers that were supposed to be for Audrina but were giving to Lauren instead and that made Audrina uncomfortable. Plus Audrina put a lock in her door and that made Lauren uncomfortable. A producer also said that the black madcara tear was enhanced digitally for a more dramatic effect.

*Disclaimer* I'm not trying to attack what Timmy and Whit are saying, I'm just offering a different perspective. When I watch these episodes especially now, I try and remember that they we don't get a clear picture of their everyday life. We got a 22 minute epsiode once a week. It's easy for editors or whatever to not include scenes of Lauren trying to include Audrina in things. We don't see everything that happens off camera.

Ive been watching this for 2 weeks now and I was a huge fan of LC. Im still am, but looking back, she's the type of friend that you can count on. I think Audrina felt hurt and left out when they moved into the house that she stopped trying to reach out. When Lauren tried to reach out, Audrina was checked out. They both seem genuinely hurt. I don't think LC had some ulterior motive with her tears. Her friendships with Heidi and Jen Bunney really did a number on her that the possibility of losing Audrina was triggering. And Audrina didn't want to feel pushed aside with Lo's snarkiness. I was glad they made up, but its fucked up what comes next with the JB/LC rumor.

I get that Whitney’s filming a show with Audrina, Heidi, and Spencer. But it’s so weird watching their non-reaction to Spencer and Heidi, and even Audrina, being crappy, immediately followed by them going so hard on Lauren. They’ve always been harsher on Lauren, but this season it’s super obvious. They’re painting Audrina to be this innocent girl who just wants to have fun and stay out of drama but that’s not the case. They were in their early 20s, navigating adult friendships. Everybody had screw ups at that time in their lives. Both Lauren and Audrina were wrong in that situation. Yes, Lauren should’ve tried harder to make sure that Audrina didn’t feel left out. There are other valid criticisms of Lauren, but I don’t have to type them out because Tim and Whit already stated them. But Audrina isn’t innocent either, i.e., talking about Lauren to Justin Bobby, while saying none of it to Lauren’s face. (She had every right to drag Lo lol). She can’t expect Lauren to know exactly what she’s feeling. She’s an adult. She should’ve spoken up. And then Whitney said she hasn’t seen Lauren trying, when Lauren just listed two examples of her trying, neither of which Audrina denied, Lauren threw Audrina a bday party, tried to reach out when she went to the back house, etc. And even so, they say that the show is edited to make a story, so can’t it be true that Lauren trying was edited out to create drama? If anything, we didn’t see Audrina try at all. The only convo they had about Lo was when Lauren went to talk to her. In my opinion, Audrina was over the friendship and dragged out the whole “feeling left out” storyline for the show. Though I think that based on this episode, they were both rightfully hurt and equally to blame. I don’t think Lauren was making it about herself. BOTH of them were hurt, not just Audrina. Lauren had a right to feel upset too. Definitely didn’t need to yell at Audrina though. That was too much even if she did have valid points lol. Tim and Whit are super one sided here. I assume it’s because she’s still friends with Audrina.
Also, when Lauren mentioned Audrina at the fashion show, it was very obviously ADR. Anyone else, Tim would’ve called that out, but instead they paint it as Lauren being annoying for bringing it up? And I’m sorry, Tim and Whit have said that people are just playing their roles, hitting beats. And unfortunately, Whit’s role was “Lauren’s work bff.” So them harping on Lauren ignoring Whitney (clearly editing), or not inviting her places, is a little much.
It also rubbed me the wrong way that they said that a friend would never describe something their friends did as weird, as if Lauren was being shady. Like come on. Let’s be realistic here. 1. Weird doesn’t have an inherently negative connotation. It literally means strange or unconventional. I took it as Lauren saying she’s willing to do things foreign to her or out of her comfort zone, as long as she’s with her friend. 2. I seriously doubt Tim or Whit have never used weird/strange to describe something someone close to them has done. My friends and I call each other or our actions weird all the time. No one takes offense to it because we know that we have different interests that others just don’t get. And again, weird does not equal bad. Especially since they ignored the main point of her comment, which was basically “I’m willing to be uncomfortable/do things I don’t want to because you’re my friend.” It’s almost as if they’re digging for something to criticize Lauren.
Idk. It’s not that I think Lauren’s perfect. It’s just their standards for everyone else on the show are so much lower. Yes, we can agree to disagree on many things. But even objectively, the standards for Lauren vs. everyone else are different. We can at least agree to that much even if we agree to disagree about the actual criticisms. I enjoy the funny commentary and Tim’s impersonations, including when Lauren’s being a brat. But the criticism part of the reactions is so unbalanced, which is why so many people point it out. It can be hard to watch at times. If everyone else on the show were criticized too, no one would notice the reactions to Lauren. I doubt Audrina, Heidi, or Spencer would have an issue with you criticizing their younger selves; they might even agree. And if they did make it a big deal, idk maybe they aren’t people to film a show with. Just a thought.

I was 17/18 when this EP aired. From the smallest village in Scotland 🏴 and even I knew where Lauren Lo and Audrina lived due to the paps. Lauren asked them to not post at her front gate but they continued. It was for sure a massive security issue especially even trying to walk Chloe.
