Thanks Dr. Dray, great video. My biggest takeaway from checking out all the prices of products is that these companies REALLY need to make their sunscreens MUCH more affordable if society is to wear enough of it & wear it often.
Thank you Dr Dray for all you do. . I go to a dermatologist every 3 months or so because I get basal cell and I never get any skin care information from her she’s just interested in burning off my precancerous spots and doing biopsies of potential basal cells and out the door. . . Just recently it’s occurred to me to ask for free samples and they are generous with cerave moisturizer. However I used to charge my office visit and then they tacked on 3% which I thought was kind of cheap on their part so now I just pay cash. So I appreciate all your good information and now I’m using a wash, moisturizer AND sunscreen every day all thanks to you showing me tinted ones that don’t burn my eyes and make my face look better I can’t thank you enough ❤
@barbcoleus I have the SAME situation as you have written! When I ask doctor for suggestions he dumps me off to his nurse who writes down products that I have already used and know that they don't help. The 3% charge happened to me as well (no post in office and a surprise!) He's always in a hurry and my mind doesn't work as fast so consequently I sometimes forget to ask about a product. I so appreciate Dr. Drey and all the information she shares.
Thank you, Dr. Dray. Your videos are better than an in-person consultation because you explain things very thoroughly. Of course, in-person dermatology appointments are important, but I feel that you take more time to explain things.
That's crazy that the CVS price for the Neutrogena eye cream is basically twice as much as amazon! CVS is good if you are in a pinch but otherwise I don't shop there, I stick to Target or Walmart or Amazon if possible.
I get all my prescriptions thru CVS, so the coupons really help - haircare, basic body lotions and especially my old favorite Olay face wash, are really cheap with the coupons!
Agree. Walgreens is like CVS by jacking up prices on brands so their dupe appears more favorable. The coupons and rewards are not a good use of my time and patience. Target has gotten quite high compared to my employee owned large grocery store. There must be huge profit margins in skin care, and all the new brands validate this observation.
It takes a good 6 nonths to get a dermatologist appointment here in the Phoenix area, longer in winter with the snowbirds here. If not for Dr Dray, I would be lost ❤
Thanks for taking us along and showing us some of the new drug store products. I can't believe Sun In still exists. I tried it as a teen. Turned my beautiful, long, very dark brown hair orange. Was pretty traumatic for me. Happy Monday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a peaceful evening. 💙

Love YOU Dr. Dray 💖🙌!!! Found you 4 years ago and you got me into sunscreen and helped me repair my moisture barrier with drugstore brand products !! Now I am using Adapalene 2x a week to start with Vanicream cleanser and no fragrance Equate Brand Cetaphil dupe cream. I love the Rosacare hydrogel for pinkness in the am. Perfect for my oily skin. You are the ONLY DERM on TH-cam with NoNonsense economical advice. You are a treasure to many !!! Speaking of DOVE 🕊- how come the derm industry was high on DOVE Bar for cleansing in the 90’s and now it’s kind of “out” ❓ I love DOVE Sensitive Skin Bar. Is it a (( bad )) product to use on faces ? Thanks so much 💓Dr. Dray, God Bless and keep you xo
Highly recommend Gold Bond Crepe corrector lotion for the face during cold winter snaps. It's like the overnight retinol minus the retinol, with petrolatum & extra dimethicone, and it does absorb on my skin without any kind of salve or balm texture left on the skin. Def for the very dry only, but omg it's my winter holy grail!! Only high end ive tried that could compete is ole Henriksen strength trainer
Hi Dr. Dray. I received a sample of the [Coat]s Triple Moisture Water Cream and it was enough to last me several weeks. I enjoyed it, yet my 61 year old dry, wrinkly skin needs more moisture. Would be a great product for someone with normal to maybe, oily skin. Lots of good ingredients. I presently use Avene, Cicalfate mornings and @ night along with my other skin care.
I prefer products in a tub instead of a tube because I can extract all of the product. I wash my hands before I put my fingers into the tub. And if I'm in the shower, I'm successful in not allowing water to get into the tub, so, the tub packaging is way more frugal and practical than pump or tube packaging.
I went to Walgreens today and also found that even the store brand of the neutrogena products are more than Amazon! And yeah, skincare is so expensive these days, and even more so at the drug stores. They are selling some olay and L’Oréal products for $50+
Thank you Dr Dray for continuing giving us information and providing the best prices. I know I certainly appreciate your time and efforts. I love shopping with you 😉💙

Thanks for sharing all this excellent information and especially the resources -with us. Due to you I started serious skincare in my late 50s and now in early 60s I’m looking better than I did in my mid 40s.
Ha, I used to use Sun In every summer. Was a beach Florida babe, red hair and had to have that streaked sun looking hair. I ❤ that stuff. I’m now 63, my hair is drab looking and looked for it once about a yr ago bc I wear hats all the time now. My hubby met me with that hair. He asked if I colored it. All the natural highlights are about all grown out. Yes, I guess I’m one of those ppl but it probably looks best on light brown or blondes best
Hi Dr Dray. James Welsh reviewed the coats products. I think I remember him liking the products. Haven't heard other skincare influencers or dermatologists talk about this brand.
Thanks for shopping and ingredient nfo Dr Dray! The L'Oreal Bright Reveal SPF 50 is regular price 25.99 at Target and 25.75 at Walmart right now. CVS regular price of 33.49 is 36% / $9 more.
Gosh I wish I could put you, Dr Dray in my back pocket shopping with me! 😂 Sometimes I get confused and think now what did Dr Dray say about this??? I Love your Shop With Me Videos! Please don’t ever stop ! 💙
I tend to buy with coupons at cvs because to pay full price you would be paying more that why I tend not buy Walgreens is they mark it up and I don’t get coupons there
I've been using the same day moisturizer for YEARS and its worked great. But i feel like my skin wants something with a little more OMPH! 😂 always excited to see your reviews on these.
Fructis always ends up building up in my hair and making it feel like gum. I tried those L'oreal citric bond shampoo/conditioner products... and I didn't care for those... too drying, from Lóreal I prefer the ever pure glossing set (the acidic glaze spray bottle is terrible, but I transfer it to my own spraying bottle and it works pretty well).
Dove 7 in 1 was a dud for me, but i need intensive lightweight moisture on my coarse, dense hair. Mineral oil is the 2nd ingredient, which weighs my curls down & actually makes them look frizzier. It's mostly an '07 shine spritz imo...
The Olay sensitive line looked interesting. I wish you had reviewed it. I see you review Neutrogena alot. I would love to see more Olay since I use a lot of their fragrance free products.
Thanks Dr. Dray ! You make me laugh and also my head is spinning. I am new to skin care at 56+ and have in place a routine, but after watching so many of your videos I wonder if I am doing the right thing. Soooo many options out there. I am using snail mucin CosRX on damp skin after washing with Cetafil mild exfoliating liquid soap. They I use on face and neck the snail mucin. Then I use CeraVe retinol on my wrinkled areas and I use a caffeine mixed serum around my eyes and underneath. I finish with a very light PM CeraVe lotion. I am planning to change to Neutrogena anti wrinkling retinol cream... the one with the super long name. Sorry if this is boring you. I don't know if I am doing the right thing and I find the information vast and confusing... how do I make choices? Thanks if you have the time to follow up on this. Thanks again for your great content!!
What do you recommend to use around the eye (under eye and eyelid), to help stimulate collagen production and moisturize? Product or maybe a certain ingredient to look for in a product. Love your videos!
Thank you for another outstanding video!!! I have noticed since you started doing videos about what Dollar Tree has they are always sold out of the good stuff that you recommend and yes I know this wasnt a Dollar Tree video but I had to tell you anyway.
The Dermasil Eczema Relief lotion works great for me. They're sold out in all DT near me. I ordered at DT online, and it's cheaper! Thanks for all you do, Dr. Dray!@@DrDrayzday
If I’m using prescription tretinoin should I stop looking for anti-aging products and wasting my money when they won’t compare to the benefits of tretinoin. (Other than maybe buying products to keep the skin from getting flaky?) Thank you Dr
Thank you for your informative video. I am really confused about retinol, I currently use a cream that has both retinyl palmitate and acsorbyl palmitate, it claims yo have vitamin a and c but I am not sure if this is a true claim and whether I should buy something else
I’m not an expert and, obviously, Dr Dray knows way more than me but my understanding is when a product states “paraben-“ and/or “phalate-free” and as soon as you see “fragrance,” “perfume” or “parfum,” then the product is no longer paraben or phalate free. If this is indeed true, this is what annoys me about those labels. If it states the fragrance is from essential oils, however, then it’s fine (unless you are sensitive or allergic to that specific oil) like lemon, orange, etc., then the product is fine because the essential oil is just that, wherein fragrance, etc. is made of other ingredients that the company doesn’t have to list.
Even like body scrubs too, u open them the waters like getting in ure trying to angle ur body so the tub doesnt get all watery, i guess the companies probably think we cant differentiate without the difference in packaging? They have to know too that it makes no sense, unless u put it on outside the shower? 🤔 17:15
I got the equate dupe of the Neutrogena hydro boost gel for $11, i believe. Have been enjoying it, but it's just a sensory treat/humectant for me. I dont rely on it as a moisturizer, i use it like a serum.
I'm split between using adapelene 0,1% or topical isotretinoin gel 0,05%(we don't have tretinoin here in Greece) . What would you suggest? Which one is considered "stronger"?(my main concern is acne scars, skin texture and anti aging)
If you check Dr Dray's retinol playlist, there are videos that would answer this. One to check out is, tretinoin vs differin? //dermatologist answers your skin care questions//
@@db-gb5xi I'm not talking about tretinoin, I'm specifically talking about topical isotretinoin gel which is different. There indeed is a video about it by dr dray but it compares it to tretinoin, not adapalene.
I love your blog and I followed you for years. I never shop at CVS because they are too expensive. I have Prime on Amazon and I get free shipping. I order from them.
I have stopped ordering skin care items from Amazon because I received what I suspected was a counterfeit one time. The lower prices are seductive, but my skin is worth more risk management than that, so I returned it and have never ordered skin care from Amazon since. Just something to think about.
Can you do a video on laundry detergent? I use Tide free and clear but see all the FB stuff on “safe” detergents and not sure what to believe! Also just realized I have hard water and want to use detergent for that but not sure what to believe!
I love watching these kind of vids of yours! So bad I am in france and we do not have the same products, even though we have some brands in common we still do not have same products! So weird.
Hi Dr. Dray. Do you know what ever happened to Tegrin Shampoo? It vanished years ago and can’t find any info on line about it. It made a great body wash as well for itchy skin. 😢
I absolutely love Eucerin Daily Protection Face Lotion & Sunscreen!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! It is moisturizing and feels wonderful on dry skin. You mentioned it a few years ago, since then it is the only sunscreen I use now.
If you ever try the InCommon “Magic Mist,” I’d love to watch your review! I got it a few months ago and maybe it’s just my hair type, but it does something magical to my hair. I was surprised! :)
CVS sure had some great deal and wonderful new skincare gems 😊❤ and it's always so exhilarating to participate in a skincare product hunt ❤🎉. I also like gel fragrance free based cleansers but 😅 i right now I'm half way through my LRP toleriane gel cleanser and i have another one but it's cream wash cleanser but fragrance free by Froika (a greek dermocosmetic brand). Petrolatum for lips at night and spf lip balm at day light 😊. Thanks for the shopping trip doctor Andrea it was so much fun ❤🎉.

I wonder what you think of Eucerin's Atopicontrol. For me it could be the most hyped product ever, its sooooo good and soothing, but thats just my experience. I never hear anyone about it!
Lol I had to laugh so hard at “Sun In “ still being available ! I’m 60 years old and fell victim to that spray when I’d lay in the sun .. and end up with bright red streaks and have to explain to my mama how my hair got that god awful color !!
@@marylawman8603 agreed it wasn’t funny back then was it ? All the girls on the pics on those bottles had beautiful platinum blonde hair . I couldn’t figure out why it didn’t do that on me lol 😂
Dr. Dray, you're so great! You taught me that skincare doesn't have to be complicated or insanely expensive.

The lower prices are seductive, but my skin is worth more risk management than that, so I returned it and have never ordered skin care from Amazon since. Just something to think about.
Yes, sometimes I’ve questioned that.
Can you do a video on laundry detergent? I use Tide free and clear but see all the FB stuff on “safe” detergents and not sure what to believe! Also just realized I have hard water and want to use detergent for that but not sure what to believe!
I've seen the Coats brand on Amazon but always ignored it as there are other products I want to try but the brand does look interesting
Dr. Dray: PLEASE review Cos de Baha brand products. Their retinol serum and azalaic acid serum are awesome!
Heard good thing about Coats; I haven't used it.
I have noticed that it seems CVS prices (even for non CVS brand) are way up! It seems so expensive!!! And the ones near me are constantly in low stock
CVS stores are just all around becoming a huge mess!! Really bad corporate management.
CVS and Walgreens mark up prices on brands so their dupe appears more favorable. The coupons and rewards are not a good use of my time and patience. Target has gotten quite high compared to my employee owned large grocery store. There must be huge profit margins in skin care, and all the new brands validate this observation.
Speaking of Q10, how do you feel about taking it as a supplement? When I worked in GYN, so many women were on it.
No!! Not sun in omg 😂
“What in the 86” 😂😂😂😂
Can't praise the Jon Freida shampoo and conditioner for blondes enough violet crush is great!
What do you think of Olay skincare products?
Hydroboost eye gel is 13.80 for 1 or 20.80 for 2 on Amazon currently
they change the price so fast
@@DrDrayzdayI saw that, and noticed it was from a specific sellers store, not Amazon selling it.
I love show with me video they are so entertaining
thanks for watching

Can you please review the Beyou Niacinamide Tinted Sunscreen?!? I only get sunscreens recommended by you, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!!
I used it on my very dark brown hair as a teen and ended up with orange hair! I can laugh now but I wasn't laughing back then. 😬
@@marylawman8603 agreed it wasn’t funny back then was it ? All the girls on the pics on those bottles had beautiful platinum blonde hair . I couldn’t figure out why it didn’t do that on me lol 😂
I thought I was going to be so beautiful with my blonde hair and my skin tanned to a golden brown from laying in the sun covered in baby oil! 😂
Yes, I don't buy in CVS what I can get at least several bucks cheaper at Wal-Mart especially..The markup at CVS and Walgreens is ridiculous..
FYI be careful with Loreal because it has a common ingredient that can have gluten in it. I had to throw mine out.
Thank you Dr. Dray. I enjoyed your video, but I hardly ever shop at CVS. I prefer Walmart or Amazon.
