Target is not for the average person. Too pricey. Yes well lit but that doesn’t help your average family who has a budget for groceries and probably diapers, etc.
The #1 place I shop for most of my sons thing is Target bc they offer the best price and deals/discounts/promo. Prices are so low I’m able to get diapers, clothes and toys for $100/ month. Great deals on formula/car seats/ nursery etc! And I love me a well lit and bright room.
Just having someone clean the shopping cart for me before I get there makes the shopping experience so much better knowing that their employees are getting paid extra for the risk make me want to support the store, being able to pay with the app no having to touch anything makes it feel kinda luxurious and lastly being able to look up on their up whatever you need and tell you exactly where it’s at in the store definitely make me buy more
Never shopped at Target before but now that I have a little one I'm hooked. Best place for baby stuff and washing detergent. They give you gift cards for shopping there. For example they have buy 2 cans of baby formula and you get a $10 gift card. If you buy $100 worth of pampers you get a $20 gift card....list goes on. I tell all the moms to check it out.
But, here's the thing. Most of the time, it's still cheaper to buy the stuff at Walmart, even when you factor in the cost of the gift card. That's certainly the case with the Tide/Bounce deals they run every three weeks or so.
I think they spray something in their air that just makes you shop more 😂 Their Missoni collab was my personal favorite to date! I still have the duvet from that collab and it’s in excellent shape despite being used every day & being washed so often. I love that thing.
I've never been to the US and walmart and target are on my sightseeing list. From my point of view all the memes, stories and strategies make it seem like such a experience. I just wanna go and walk around in there and look at all the different products and procedures. Edit: tried to correct some spelling mistakes :)
Same. I do have a Walmart here but it's like miles away from me and we don't have a Target. Though I am not planning on going to the US, if I had a chance, I'll go there ASAP lmao
Target for me is a luxury store where you Go to spend that little Extra money you have around. I love the feeling you get walking into it and the smell of Starbucks just makes you feel Welcome
I realized that when I walk around target I see the "possibilities" ~ this candle would go on my coffee table in my apartment, this shirt will be the one I wear on my next date night, but when I go to Walmart I feel cramped and like everything is rushed. Target sells possibilities and by the time you leave you have more stuff ~ the dollar bin section makes you feel like this tiny object if your "treat yo self object"
This hit the nails on the head. I couldn't figure out why I enjoyed going to Target so much more than Walmart, and now I know. Thanks for sharing the secrets.
it does depend on your area, but the RedCard discount will make a lot of items cheaper than Walmart in my experience. I haven’t been in a Walmart in years.
It's not targets loss that the building burned down. They will just increase prices. Supply and demand. Everyone has to pay for that. Insurance claims. The price of what you pay for your insurance. Insurance companies insure all kinds of things💳💸🎯🎯
I love Target. I invariably get Target gift cards for my birthdays, and I get happy as soon as I enter the store. It's no small factor that red is my favorite color (especially for clothing and fashion accessories and my kitchen decor), and that color is everywhere and just perks me right up for shopping. I love the new designs for picnicware each summer, the autumn linens, the adorable Easter outfits for little children, the winter holiday themed throw pillows/socks/serving trays. I love the $1 bins and the $9 knit tops that I can pick up in several colors because I know which size will fit (though I wish they'd stayed with Merona; it took me a while to adjust to New Day or whatever it's called). Hooked, indeed!
They used to make quality clothes. I have clothes from target bought 10 years ago that's still holding up, but now I don't even bother browsing in the clothing section.
I usually shop thrift, but went to Target yesterday just to look. Boy, the prices knocked me over. Soft goods and clothes compared to Homegoods and TJMaxx were at least 30% higher, and cheaper quality. I don’t think I’ll bother again. And many shelves were under stocked.
I used to love Target, would make a weekly trip at least but then noticed the prices going up way more than competition. At least in nyc-metro area/long island. I never go anymore.
I have gone to mine (30miles away) about 6 times in the last 6yrs. And the last time I actually only got one thing "baby wipes". I do shop online @target though.
I haven’t visit a store for many years - I hate them. Today, I went to get a diffuser for my office and I was impressed about the beautiful items I saw at Target 🎯
Walmart sucks lmao. They make you work full time hours but don’t actually code you as full time in the system so you don’t get any of the full time benefits like health insurance or full bonuses
I thought I was the only one obsessed with Target! 😁 Everything they said about it is true, and the reason why I love it, except the clothing brands. I don't buy my clothes at Target, it's too basic for me. Except for the kids clothes, I do love buying them there for my son, Cat & Jack is a great kids clothing brand! I really Iove the online pick up and order delivery, and layout of the store. Target is a very convenient, accessible, and seamless experience!
Back in the early 2k's, I spent so much money on Target. Now, I rarely go. Especially since the quarantine because they have no toilet paper, cleaning soaps of any kind, paper towel, or disinfectant wipes. That's all I really get from there.
CNBC wants click/views. Target, Costco, Trader Joe’s brings that in. Additionally, they tend to be more affluent people as well, really who all three and CNBC are chasing.
I will say I worked for target briefly and they really took training employees seriously. But they were also fun, I.E our training video had some super purposely cheesy parts to make you laugh and I have to say it worked. They were very anti union, but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing in their case either.

Walmart is utilitarian, you go there for things you need, full stop. Target is aspirational, you go there to look and nice/new/cool stuff. Their grocery store sucks for me though. I always save money using the Target app and card
Just having someone clean the shopping cart for me before I get there makes the shopping experience so much better knowing that their employees are getting paid extra for the risk make me want to support the store, being able to pay with the app no having to touch anything makes it feel kinda luxurious and lastly being able to look up on their up whatever you need and tell you exactly where it’s at in the store definitely make me buy more
Don’t bother the employees if you don’t need to they already have a lot to do especially those with the online orders be kind
Half the time the employees dont know anything. But half the time they do so hey. Luck of the draw
Bold of you to assume everyone is a Karen
Never shopped at Target before but now that I have a little one I'm hooked. Best place for baby stuff and washing detergent. They give you gift cards for shopping there. For example they have buy 2 cans of baby formula and you get a $10 gift card. If you buy $100 worth of pampers you get a $20 gift card....list goes on. I tell all the moms to check it out.
But, here's the thing. Most of the time, it's still cheaper to buy the stuff at Walmart, even when you factor in the cost of the gift card. That's certainly the case with the Tide/Bounce deals they run every three weeks or so.
you can price match !!!!! walmart doesnt price match target does win win
I think they spray something in their air that just makes you shop more 😂 Their Missoni collab was my personal favorite to date! I still have the duvet from that collab and it’s in excellent shape despite being used every day & being washed so often. I love that thing.
So basically target is targeted middle class women. Makes since
*sense
once you work there, you’ll try to get out the *SECOND* you clock out tho lmaoo
I've never been to the US and walmart and target are on my sightseeing list. From my point of view all the memes, stories and strategies make it seem like such a experience.
I just wanna go and walk around in there and look at all the different products and procedures.
Edit: tried to correct some spelling mistakes :)
Same. I do have a Walmart here but it's like miles away from me and we don't have a Target. Though I am not planning on going to the US, if I had a chance, I'll go there ASAP lmao
Target is more expensive than Walmart from my experience
Yes it is. I rarely go to Target. Occasionally I go to get the few items I can’t find elsewhere.
Yeah it is I saw a white pillow for $50 in target and then right after we went to Walmart and I found the exact same pillow for $10
Target IS more expensive than Walmart. Anyone who says differently is just wrong. LOL
I like that they sell a lot of black owned brands... super dope. I frequent Walmart more only because it's cheaper.
Target for me is a luxury store where you
Go to spend that little
Extra money you have around. I love the feeling you get walking into it and the smell of Starbucks just makes you feel
Welcome
The dislike are all the loyal walmart shoppers. 🤣🤣🤣
Not all of us who don't like Target are Walmart people. I like bent and dent stores and yardsaling 🤣🙈
Why I love Target. 1st Maintain clean and neat manner of shop and 2nd Good customer services
Target has the perfect lighting. Very warm and inviting.
I love target. But as a previous employee, I dislike the hour/pay balance it gives its employees. Especially for it’s inbound team.
It's not targets loss that the building burned down. They will just increase prices. Supply and demand. Everyone has to pay for that. Insurance claims. The price of what you pay for your insurance. Insurance companies insure all kinds of things💳💸🎯🎯
Omg! It’s Kim from the WADS! 🥳 Those target hauls paid off! 😂
I screamed "Hey it's Kim" lol
Hey look Ma I made it!! hahaa Love it so much!
Lol, they got this down to a science.
I love target for everything but their clothing. The quality is no better than Walmart. Those clothes do not make it past a year in my experience.
I like it for comfort house clothes but work? No Also I hate their shoes So uncomfortable
They used to make quality clothes. I have clothes from target bought 10 years ago that's still holding up, but now I don't even bother browsing in the clothing section.
The shoes are pretty bad. Cute but not going to make it past the season.
I used to love Target purses, but the strap or zipper would break within 6 months to a year. I stopped buying them.
I love target I couldn’t live without it 😂 😂. I spend over $100 at target
It’s just sad when you watch this video & own a pair of sandals they’re showing.... 😭🥴
That happened to me with the shorts! lol
I used to love Target, would make a weekly trip at least but then noticed the prices going up way more than competition. At least in nyc-metro area/long island. I never go anymore.
Their fruits and veggies are always sooo fresh , and also all of their aisles are so full of cool stuff
Haven’t been to target since May 2020 and I’m still going strong 😂
I have gone to mine (30miles away) about 6 times in the last 6yrs. And the last time I actually only got one thing "baby wipes". I do shop online @target though.
Target is my absolute favorite store hands down.
I haven’t visit a store for many years - I hate them. Today, I went to get a diffuser for my office and I was impressed about the beautiful items I saw at Target 🎯
Does Target take better care of their employees than Walmart? IE pay, benefits, etc?
Walmart 11$ target 15$ per hour
I lost my 🐱 in target
Rr Ll girl WHAT😂😂😂
Ive worked for both in my lifetime. I dont remember much of a difference in pay or benefits
How much did target pay CNBC for this promo?
So paid, even looks fake
looks the same as the one they did on trader joe and costco. I dont think its paid
Stop thinking that everything is an ad. It's not.
Y'all are paranoid and annoying af to the point that you think everything is an ad. lmao
CNBC wants click/views. Target, Costco, Trader Joe’s brings that in. Additionally, they tend to be more affluent people as well, really who all three and CNBC are chasing.
When my best friend and I have nothing to do we go to target😂
i am OBSESSED WITH TARGET, like millions of others. it’s just one of the BEST ❤❤❤
I wish Target is still here in Canada 🥺 I miss it.
I will say I worked for target briefly and they really took training employees seriously. But they were also fun, I.E our training video had some super purposely cheesy parts to make you laugh and I have to say it worked. They were very anti union, but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing in their case either.
any one here know meijer stores in the midwest united states
Meijer is great!!
Yes I loved Meijers!
Yes I loved Meijers!
@@thevegantitian best place to shop and know that every dollar spent at meijer stays in midwest meijer donates 30 percent of their profit to charity every year like food banks meijer donations make up to 20 percent of inventory at michigan's food banks and offer's health care for elderly individual's that can't afford medication best place to shop and feel good knowing 30 percent of what you purchase is donated for a good cause
I love Meijer! It is between target and walmart in my opinion. It is not as expensive as target but costs a little more than walmart. Although their coupons app can help with that. Meijer is clean, has way better produce and a large selection.
Experience, products and service is what always brings me back...
Walmart is utilitarian, you go there for things you need, full stop. Target is aspirational, you go there to look and nice/new/cool stuff. Their grocery store sucks for me though. It might be interesting but I can never get everything I need, either because they just don’t carry it or they’re out in my area, whereas I can at other places. And especially now, if I only went there for groceries I would think there was a serious meat or food shortage.
What's with the random dude hanging from a tree and dancing? 0:18
he is wearing clothes from target
I spend my money at Target because Wal-Mart sucks, customer service is key people will be proud to pay for better customer service
Buddy read about how german economy flourishes even being not so customer service friendly
@@techbasics6142 It makes sense luckily I'll never move to Germany 🇩🇪
But as a shopper I don’t care about the light I care about the prices k
Me too! I'm like all these people talking about lighting and the experience....doesn't make sense because all I care about is saving as much money as possible without taking time to go on an app to price match walmarts prices. And honestly the Walmart's I've gone to are clean, have nice employees and cheaper prices plus I get more for my money for groceries.
Walmart seems like that cranky mother in law you always have to deal with. Target seems like your awesome older brother.
Target is my little happy place…❤ Yes to “less clutter” ❤
I miss working at Target as a CSR for sales and there credit and debit cards. One stop shop for all and values their customers. ❤️😍🥰
Are they good to work for?
@@SarahLizDoan Yes, the company has a lot to offer great incentives and lots of promotions. For customers, refund and exchange are so much easy to request as well as the late payment fees to be waived as long as it meets the requirements.
Just got my PlayStation 5 from Target so now I am forever a loyal customer 🎯
Everyone loves target, but when I go there I only find a few items on my list and always feel disappointed :( I want to like target but I don't
Me too. Their inventory is terrible.
I love target ♥️ we can be in there for EVER!!!!
Okay, as a target team member, hearing you call the Drive Ups "curbside" is a weird tick. Like... no, my dear. It's not curbside. Do not park curbside. Park in the designated drive-up parking spots with the other six cars. Curbs aren't wide enough.
This feels like an ad
This channel is essentially an advertisement for capitalism as a whole.
Cheap & chic is the perfect way to sum up target gotta remember that the next time my husband says we can get that at from Walmart 😂
I don’t go to Target as much, unless I need a certain home thing. The price on groceries is so expensive there. I just shop at the local Vons or on base. I will typically choose Target over Walmart though, because of the atmosphere. The Walmart where I live is chaotic and people there are pretty rude. It’s always packed (even during the pandemic) and I tend to find of the products not the best quality. If I do shop at Walmart, it’s solely online.
I love target but I do notice the price difference from Walmart with everyday items so I’ll go to Walmart or Dollar store for everyday household items and target for kids clothes ,shoes, home decor. Always spending over $100 every time I shop at target even with the yellow stickers 😂
I have 5 within 15 minutes from me🥰
1 mini target- 3 blocks away
2 -10 minutes away non freeway
1- 12 minutes away freeway
1- 15 minutes away freeway
I’m so happy with the options...
and I have a couple Walmart’s 😐which I do go to for several specific things.
Jennifer Connelly at Target in 1991.
Wife comes home:
7 bags from Publix = $97 USD
1 bag from Target = $110 USD
I hate Target!
Note: Publix is a southern regional grocery store in the US. Note 2: The Target bag is only groceries.
Yeah, but that one bag from target has overpriced shampoo, make-up, and nik naks.
Grocery store vs general goods store? Ok...
@@user-vi4xy1jw7e yes, I should have noted she only bought groceries there.
I miss Publix and it’s key lime pie 😅
