The horses are on different sides. Happy Easter..Our Lord sent his son so we can have ever lasting life. Praise God. Prayers for the your family .. Be safe. God bless..❤ 🙏🐎
A lot going on! I am truly sorry the motor gave out. Horses, motors, both very expensive. But horses you've got to love them, because you can't ignore them- ever. It's a tough but very admirable lifestyle.
Happy Easter ! I hope Ken's rear legs are OK after that big rock. Ken is such a good boy. Baron and Bill switched sides. Their doing great. Love the videos. Have a wonderful weekend. 👍
Brenda, I think it’s so cool that you always greet the horses by name, i really think they like it and it’s also great bonding and showing appreciation for all their hard work. I enjoy the channel so much. Happy Easter 🐇
Brenda it is good to check on Jim in case of logging accidents. He could be knocked unconscious. Ever since it happened to a friend his wife will ask him to send an hourly blip to let her know he is fine. She checks if the blip does not happen on time. Last time he had a concussion and broken ankle from a slip next to a creek. Saved his life
WOW! Price of motor has gone up! But you WILL get your money back after a period of time and be able to get a profit after this year. Glad Ken and William figured it out how to do a single horse pull in logging. Good video!
Jim and Brenda and William , Ken is picking up single horse skidding really well. I really appreciate your idea driving Ken on shorter lines on his near side . It's much safer for the driver. The drain tile repairs are working well. Sorry to hear about the woodmizer's engine being thrashed . . The price of a new 34 hp Kohler Replacement Engine is steep at 5,100 U.S. which converts to approximately 6,500 Canadian Dollars. Happy Easter Weekend to all the Gordon Family.
Wishing everyone a blessed Easter!!! Maybe you all can go see the grandbabies for Easter since the snow is melting!❤ I sure hated the motor on the sawmill is such an expensive replacement, but happy it will arrive next week so you can have the sawmill back up and working! Billy and Baron switched sides today!
What a beautiful sunny Wintry but Spring day☀️You switched up Bill and Baron. Ken and William make a good team, Ken looked good going on his own. Looked liked Ken got a pretty good ouchie on his right foot/ leg.hope it is ok! Happy Easter, many Blessings to all. 😇🇨🇦
Yes, you would think as much as Jim promotes the Wood miser product, they would sell that motor to Jim at their cost. Jim is an asset to the Wood miser company and that would be a nice gesture. I'm pulling for Jim. I just rebuilt a 10 horse Tecumseh that looked like someone threw a grenade inside, I know I could fix Jim's engine. That's a great saw mill and Jim is a Great Sawer. Thank you.
Thank you for taking us along for your typical day. It's delightful to be w yall, ppl n horsees❤I'm so glad you ride your horses too. 😅 gr8 video. Hi Wm.😊❤
On the coast of North Carolina we are looking for Temps in low 70s. The snow reminds me of my military service in The North Country which I don't miss in the least.
I had to go back and add, seeing Ken log w/o cart single was interesting, he seemed to be like a little kid as he tried something new. I sensed the risk of injury or an accident go up as Ken was a little wound up in the moment. But then seemed to settle in. I would be concerned to get stepped on by the horse leading on his side. I think I would feel more comfortable leading from in front, but I could see where in time and with experience, Jim's way would be best for the reasons Jim mentioned. Thanks Jim for showing us this, it was quite different , and William seems to be picking it up naturally with the experience he already has, on his way to being a good Teamster, listens well, and has the desire to do his best. What more can you ask for. Thank you for showing this unique and different approach , than the cart. Ken seemed to enjoy being out there with the other horses and something new. Buck would be proud of his ole partner Ken. 😊
Have a blessed Easter Sunday as I say Happy Resurrection. Enjoy your family time and I missed seeing the Grandkids this Easter break as I enjoy them very much. William is learning so much from Jim which is great 👍 God bless you all...
William and Ken did a great job skidding. It's always harder than it looks. We have a 40 acre we need to thin out next winter. We're in central WI. I'm hoping we can find a logger with horses. Brenda, you sure got a workout! 😊
Wow, good morning❤❤❤❤ everyone along with your horses So great amazing seeing U all with love horses....scenery.. Entire move, vedoes to dialog amazes me enjoying, exploring Ur all sruffs❤❤❤❤❤❤ wanna join U guys why about, wish I could
We have a saying here in Australia, As fit as a Mallee Bull (Mallee being a woodland area in many parts of Australia) and you Brenda really are ( as fit as a Mallee Bull) I take my hat off to you. And Jim, Ouch! for the cost of a new motor, when farming , nothing is cheap hey?
Great outcomes for all projects... The water drainage ... Setback are inevitable... Glad you had some solutions... re the mill... Will is a quick learner... Well done! I guess he has a good teacher... Blessings to all... ❤ And a blessed Easter...
I noticed you have a bare spot (no snow) on the ground between your OWB and your barn and I know why that is there as I have seen many OWB's that melt a path to the home they heat. Glad to see you have William to help out with the work around the farm. Brenda, have you been heating your greenhouse? Jim hinted that maybe the OWB will help with that next winter.
I think you guys are God fearing church people I would love to hear that deep bass voice of Jim’s and I bet Brenda is a good strong alto please sing a hymn for me
The price for that new engine is absolutely crazy!! I cannot help but feel the consumer is getting ripped off now days on everything. I remember when we could by a new short block V8 for much less than that, and it wasn't that long ago either. Sorry you have to replace and pay that exorbitant price for a small 38 HP engine. I don't mean to go on about it, but I'm shocked!!
Hello Jim I always enjoy your videos You can cut and yard more than I can now. With a Skidder, got hurt almost four years ago. Still not giving up Steve from Nb
The horses are looking good and you and Skippy. I was wishing as I watched this that there was some way you could get William a warmer coat without offending him. What he's wearing just doesn't look warm and it's got to be cold up there with you saying the grounds froze and you have snow. Love your videos bet your waiting on real spring to start your garden.💐🌷🌹🌻🌺🌸🌳
Aw man that was worst case scenario for your sawmill. Dang. I thought I saw a hole but I wanted to be wrong. Look forward to seeing the new one installed!
Happy Easter guys. I think Baron and bill were on opposite sides compared to normal. Yeah, the price of that engine would be would be outrageous. Yes, but hopefully lumber sales. Justifies i'm sure the hours that's on not original one and all themember that it is made probably justifies it
As always a good hard working day for all. Jim and William sure work well together. So sorry to hear about the cost of a new motor. Brenda it bothers me when you have to run to keep up filming. (Falling) Anyway just a thought came across my mind what if you could ride a horse some of the time for filming? I know walking is keeping you healthy, but just a thought 🤔
I am so happy that your channel is doing well! I have been watching from nearly the first vids and really enjoy each and every one. You don't find this type of quality entertainment on TV. God bless your and Williams family as we remember the sacrifice that our Lord and Savior Jesus Crist made for us this weekend!! HE IS RISEN!!!!
Jim my wife says when I think cost of items , I am 10 yrs behind the times , and she is right again Grrr. Question when you go in for lunch when working on the farm .I presume you horses get water and lunch as well in their tie stalls . Lunch brakes best time of day on the farm .😊😊😊
Thank you for the nice reply . Lunch on our farm was usually a full hot meal . One time mom was away . Dad held up the frying pan and asked me if I knew how to use it . We had a great chuckle a I made pea soup from a can with a ham sandwich . Farming is great fun , if you let it .😊😊😊
Yeah, Kenny has a low, extra low, and pit gear, also Big Ken has a Diff Lock Transmission Jim locks in while Plowing, ah ha ha , I love It. Ken is like a Mack truck, The Best.
Remember when you are trying to teach William to do something your way, like driving from the side, give him a chance to try it your way but also give him the opportunity 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅😅😅 18:32 to go back to his way. When it comes
I think Brenda needs a small, steady riding horse. She gets around really well but she must be exhausted at the end of the day. Still, she is a lot fitter than I am.
The horses are on different sides. Happy Easter..Our Lord sent his son so we can have ever lasting life. Praise God.
Prayers for the your family .. Be safe. God bless..❤ 🙏🐎
Absolutely, thanks … Happy Easter!
NOTHING CAN STOP WHAT IS COMING .....OUR GOD REIGNS......THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
Amen Praise God for Everlasting life given to us by his SON JESUS CHRIST
Jim likes to switch sides.
I was told don't but I can't remember who told me that.
Jim obviously knows what he is doing. 😊
And Hsppy Easter to all !
He is risen!!!!
Oooo! Baron is usually the nigh horse but today Bill is the nigh horse and Baron is the off horse!
I loved how Bill looked at Baron when Brenda showed up. Almost as if to say "Moms here!" 😍
Ha ha, I thought the exact same thing 😌
Wonderful to think how quickly Baron has become a full "team" member.
And you know, he would never have come along so quick had Buck not died. The horse God sure has his ways.
I think it is wonderful that William is working out so well with Jim and the horses .
I think it's great that Jim is teaching William some easyer ways to do his job.
Brenda, I think it’s so cool that you always greet the horses by name, i really think they like it and it’s also great bonding and showing appreciation for all their hard work. I enjoy the channel so much. Happy Easter 🐇
yah I thought of the same thing,,,it's called respect even in the horse world.
😊
Bill and Baron switched sides!
William and Ken r learning new tricks!
Switchin it up on the B team! I hope Ken’s legs are ok with the big rock stumble. He is such a good one!
William have the best teacher ❤
a beautiful scene all the sun shining through the trees with snow and crunch still on the ground
Brenda it is good to check on Jim in case of logging accidents. He could be knocked unconscious. Good advice June .😊😊😊
Man..that is a pretty team Jim's got going on today.
Ken is my favorite! He has the kindest face🥰
WOW! Price of motor has gone up! But you WILL get your money back after a period of time and be able to get a profit after this year. Glad Ken and William figured it out how to do a single horse pull in logging. Good video!
How sweet are those horses great day to be in the woods

Thanks for the update on the sawmill engine. So sorry for what it's going to cost. I agree the cost of a new engine is way too high.

@@johnkomosa9508 I agree, Jim's motor could be re-built, much cheaper.
One of my favorite channels 🐴🐓🐖🐔🐮🚜🌾
Baron is on the right. Great video! Lots to see. Thanks.
Happy Easter weekend, blessings of love and light ❤️

What kind of trees are on your 40 acres? Is it a mix of hardwoods?
Thank you Brenda and Jim for another great video. Want to wish you and your family a very Happy Blessed Easter.
Have a blessed Easter, we are thankful for Jesus and the cross.
Wishing you all a Happy Easter. Love watching the horses and the farm life you share. All the best from POLAND.
Happy Easter in Poland, my Great Grandpa's homeland.

I was unsubscribed again.
I live in SE Tennessee & the only snow I have seen this winter has been on your channel.
Y'all take care now.
Congratulations Tennessee Elite 8! 👏 👏

Ken is a truly wonderful horse, l just love him to bits, would love to ride him.Have a wonderful weekend 😊
Jim, I would cap that vertical pipe to keep out leaves etc. and not plug it up.
Nice video. Ouch on the cost of that new motor. Those things happen unfortunately. You guys have a nice Easter.
I enjoyed your video--again!!! 😊 Have a Happy Easter! 💕
Great outcomes for all projects...

Yep, that would be a good one to repair because it sounds like William shut it down right away.
Happy Easter guys. I think Baron and bill were on opposite sides compared to normal.
Yeah, the price of that engine would be would be outrageous. Yes, but hopefully lumber sales. Justifies i'm sure the hours that's on not original one and all themember that it is made probably justifies it
You switched sides with them. I noticed that when Brenda went to say hello to Baron.
William might be alittle short for a tall horse. Hang in there William.
Looks like you're losing a lot of heat from your water lines. Happy Easter to you and your family.
As always a good hard working day for all. Jim and William sure work well together. So sorry to hear about the cost of a new motor. Brenda it bothers me when you have to run to keep up filming. Woodmizer is a great company that looks after there customers.
Looks like Baron has his new harness on and it looks good
Bill & Barron switched sides
KEN!
Bill and Baron have switched positions with Bill on the near side and Baron on the off side.

So sorry bout your motor yikes. Great video😊
sorry to hear about the saw mill motor, think it could be all that free lumber that was cut for Abby??😂😂
Yeah Jim you have Baron on the right today and bill on the left
Save that old motor for parts and keep your eyes open for another for parts.
How old is William? HOPE you all have a nice Easter..Thanks for sharing....
Bill and Baron have switched sides
Looks like new harnesses
Baron's on the right.
The horses are on different sides❤
Switched sides
New harness
Does Bill and Brandon wearing the new harness; does Ken have s new harness to, (straps) or was that Ken's neck yolk.
Jim you have a large herd of White Tail Deer on your farm . Do they come and brouse your tree tops at night and what tree species do they prefer. 😊😊😊
Ken considers himself a high torque horse rather than a slower horse. It's how fast you move a pile of stuff, it's the size of the pile.
Yeah, Kenny has a low, extra low, and pit gear, also Big Ken has a Diff Lock Transmission Jim locks in while Plowing, ah ha ha , I love It. Ken is like a Mack truck, The Best.
Jim, did you travel to Oswego County Woodmizer to get your saw mill motor?
yes, but a friend brought it up
@WorkingHorsesWithJim
Good to hear. They seem to be well stocked for parts, etc.
Remember when you are trying to teach William to do something your way, like driving from the side, give him a chance to try it your way but also give him the opportunity 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅😅😅 18:32 to go back to his way. When it comes
Baron is now bigger then Bill,,,,,Baron is the lead horse,,, Sorry i dont know nothing about horses but i sure like watching your(e) videos.
I do believe Baron is normally on the near side
I think Brenda needs a small, steady riding horse. She gets around really well but she must be exhausted at the end of the day. Still, she is a lot fitter than I am.
Soo is it still march 🥶. Looks cold
Is it not suppse to be 🌼🌱.
Its been cold in utah too .
Boy Brenda gets her 5000 steps a day lol
