Mamma Mia ! ! Jim and Bill must have been stiff and sore the day after. What a team they are ! Seems to me Bill was really getting into this pulling in such a difficult environment . Way more interesting than walking around a field all day.
I sat on the edge of my seat for the whole video worrying about Bill and Jim working so hard. Billy certainly showed his strength and endurance today. He is an awesome horse. When he gets home he will be ready for some extra grain and some good ole R&R!!!!!!! I'm glad days like this are few and far between for Bill and Jim. Brenda, when you're grooming Bill back at home, give him some extra love pats for me!!!! He is an amazing horse!!!❤
PG here, Patriot Gallery Resistance Chicks Mom. What to say! What a video. What good recording of this experience. Great job, Brenda. This video, by far, is your #1, Like a Grand Finale video the three of you have ever made. And yes, Bill seemed to enjoy going up a hill near the end, showing off his strength and agility. Mountain climbing like a New York higher elevation horse is known for. Bill shows his great strength and agility throughout the video. Breathtaking: the view, the cabins, the age, and the job itself. Wait, excuse me, all three of you showed strength, cunningness, ability for problem solving in very dangerous positions, and agility. God's word is clearly made true in this one video. My brother said I would not want to be near the horse if he stumbled and fell, losing his footing. I think Bill is well aware of keeping himself and his masters safe.
Bill proves time and time again how valuable he truly is!! Weather he’s teamed with a new horse teaching that horse how to work or he’s working solo for Jim, he’s just a SOLID worker!! GREAT VIDEO Jim and Brenda! Thanks for taking us along
Challenging day for everyone. I know it sounds strange, but it is a pleasure to watch a well trained horse and his teacher work together. Hard but great job Jim!
Hard work for all involved. Bill shows his strength and willingness to work, Jim showed his expertise and some fancy footwork! Brenda great videography as usual. Very interesting and yes breath taking. You all deserve a day to recuperate!
Hi Jarred, very much wonderful day. Where are you and you Jim and Bill are out doing job together. I was kind of frightened one point when you were working on the slide of the hill. I could just imagine Bill sliding off the hill and you coming right after him, but you held her you held right in there Jim and Bill. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video with us. Don’t think I’ll ever forget it. It was wonderful seeing Brenda. Such a beautiful lady. Thank you again. Stay safe. Give Bill a few days off.❤
Great job to Bill and Jim, and to you Brenda for the lovely filming and shots today. These horses are such amazing creatures. Their hard work and dedication to their job is beyond astounding. You hitch them up to a log and they know what they need to do and seem to love doing it. Love the content as always, and please keep it coming.
Pretty amazing these men and their work horses! To think this is how it was done all over the world before machinery. Men horses oxen mules and donkeys elephants and other large domestic animals. Simply amazing! Bill is the bomb!
very interesting! There is a lot more to logging than I thought. A horse is the only way it could be done without harming the other trees! Incredible ingenuity in minimizing the tendency of the logs to roll. Very dangerous work for Bill to have a rolling log tied to him. I'm extremely impressed by what I witnessed. Thank you for sharing.
HOLY SMOKES - WHAT A CHALLENGE THIS JOB WAS.! Had me on the edge of my seat & holding my breath the whole time.....Jim & Bill really earned their keep today and in style!! Bill has earned some Extra Oats and Jim gets a second piece of Brenda's delicious Apple Pie! Thanks for taking us along on this adventure and God bless......😊❤😮❤😊
Wow, what an epic video! Bill and Jim, you both worked really hard. I hope those people appreciated what a fine horse Bill is and the wonderful expertise and horsemanship of Jim. Great job, Brenda, at capturing all that. If there was an award for TH-cam videos, you'd deserve it. 👏👏👍
I was on the edge of my seat watching this. Bill is such an amazingly trained horse. He listens, moves and turns on a dime. Such an impressive horse (not to mention his talented trainer). If I hadn’t accidentally found your channel I would never know that this type of work even exists anymore.
Bill is a Rock Star! It’s really cool to see Jim and Bill working together on this challenging project!! Most horses would have been freaking out big time when those logs were rolling down the hill and trying to drag good old Billy with them!❤
Bill is a marvellous calm horse and he and Jim are the best team I've ever seen ! Cheers from New Zealand. Thanks for filming, it was so exciting to watch you'all !
AMAZING video! Bill did SO GOOD. His poor front legs got a real workout!! Hard work for Jim too. and great job videoing everything Brenda! Bet you all slept good that night!
love watching man and horse proving the best of strength, and taking on a big challenge. hope your left leg is ok after a rest,,so glad bill got an apple,,and you your pie..😊 its a good time the guys and gals can rake a fine trail out to the log area,, looks like a fine place for quiet solitude. super video Brenda.xx❤
I hope you were paid well for this work. You need skill and patience for this work. This looks very dangerous for Bill & Jim. With trees all around, I would have left the logs where they fell and made a trail seat for visitors or hikers. What a horse, strong, intelligent & patient.
Holy Mackeral and Holy Moly!! You are certainly three very tough nuts! Jim, Brenda and Bill, amazing work. With all our modern technology, we still need basic knowledge of nature and simple "engineering" manoeuvres and the pure strength and skill of Jim's Bill! Great video, Brenda. I noticed that he also saved you from the sucking mudhole to get home! And interesting to hear the Arborist's plans for regenerating forestry. I must chk out the ordering process of your calendar! Thank you so much!😁😅
Thank you for taking us along! Bill and Jim really worked hard! I am sure Jim is exhausted and sore! Brenda, fantastic photography of the cabins, ATV rides and fun things to watch!
If Billy doesn't suffer from hillside nightmares he should sleep like a baby!!! Great job Jim, Bill, and Brenda. One of those if you did not see it you would not believe it! Thanks
If you haven't seen it yet, search for the video from a couple of years ago when Jim's team of Percherons pulled a UPS truck out of a ditch after it slid off a snow-covered road. It came up on my feed again recently, and I enjoyed watching it for the second time.
Bill is an amazing gentle giant with strength that amazes me. Billy certainly earned his oats on that job. He knew his job and did it perfectly. Billy is a good horse, he seemed to be looking out for Jim during that job, it’s like he knew the dangers of that job. Amazing video Brenda thankyou.
Well done, boys. Jim and Bill make a great team and they both disserve extra treats tonight. It is a shame all that good wood can't be put to good use. What a good ole bot Bill is. Great video today.
Jim and Brenda , thanks for the great adventure .White Pine makes very poor firewood . But great chainsaw carved bears and other carvings .Those 4ft chunks just right size and diameter perfect .Jim I know you would not like my 2 Stihl chainsaws . One has a " Dime Tip" . You were paid to do a job and you did . Brenda this beats nursing ,right .😊😊😊
I am just in awe of what a great horse Bill really is. He stayed so calm, and so responsive to the commands even when he must've been feeling pretty tired towards the end. You can see he's really listening to Jim the whole time staying focussed. Great teamwork.
Thank you for the adventure of such a beautiful, unusual setting. Loved the whole scope of the video, but not the danger. Hated to see Bill almost to his knees. It took Jim and Bill and the Lord to get it done. Brenda, you did excellent filming as usual! My prayers kept "going up" during the pulls thru that bad spot. You all should have gotten a magnanimous tip after that job!! God bless you all!
Jim and Brenda, That twitching job brings a whole new meaning to what you call a side hill gouger. Bill did a remarkable job under the circumstances. I don't know who would be more tired Jim or Bill.

Bill sure is a seasoned pro for any kind of logging. He deserves an extra measure of grain after this. ❤
He's a beautiful strong intelligent horse.
My hats off to Bill and Jim both, this was a very dangerous days work.
That's a job they are glad to be done with. It was scary on that steep slope.
Oh, the stories Bill will have to tell the boys when he returns to the farm!
Mamma Mia ! ! Jim and Bill must have been stiff and sore the day after. What a team they are ! Seems to me Bill was really getting into this pulling in such a difficult environment . Way more interesting than walking around a field all day.
Bill is a fantastic working horse, strong, tireless, willing and eager to please Jim. Great to watch them work together.

Jim is an All American Logger just like Bill...great show of athletic ability of man and horse
So scary. I didn’t want the log to keep rolling down hill and drag Bill with it. Glad you were all safe. Bill is priceless
Bill was definitely the star of the show.
But Jim was the Teamster who stayed a few steps ahead of Bill ensuring the show wld go on. 😂 Bill really did do an awesome job.! 😅.
