We have lionfish all the way up here in North Carolina, it's scary to think how they take over and spread. They are as bad as roaches on land but surely tastes better! We have local coastal restaurants who will purchase them and put them on the menu for any and all divers that bring them in.
Crocodiles scare me. Even a wiff of them and it's no beach walks... you two have got courage swimming... Loved the crab shot too... He wasn't taking prisoners...
Thank you for sharing this video. Your under water shots are out of this world. Know that you are selling Tarka but still hope that you will continue your adventure. Your channel is the most down to earth sailing channel on the web. You all make a wonderful couple and I wish you all of the luck in this world. God bless and safe sailing.
The adventure needs to be put on an indefinite hold for family reasons. But there's still much of the story that needs to be told, so there's no end to the videos any time soon.
@@laxmannate07 Unfortunately it's true, and it's been very difficult for us to have to stop where we are. But I suspect the adventure will continue in the not-so-distant future.

What an awesome place! Your underwater footage is exceptionally good and a pleasure to watch. Heard about Tarka being put up for sale and i wont repeat all the other comments and bun you out- but i want to say thanks for going on this amazing adventure, and thank you for all the hard work filming and editing to bring us along. Looks like the sale is due to some family issues back in the states 😒. I sincerely hope that everything works out for the best for you guys, and you get to continue your explorations in whatever form they materialize. This episode has some of the best underwater footage of any sailing channel I’ve been following. Best wishes from a fellow explorer...
You have inspired me to finally follow my dream. I am currently writing a series of short stories I hope to sell online. If successful, will be purchasing a pocket cruiser (island packet or Hans Christian in 30 to 37 foot range) and following you. Keep on sailing and may God bless and keep you.😁😁
That's so awesome!! We love hearing stories like this, because for me, it was Delos (in their early years) that ultimately got me out here. So it's nice to pay it forward.
So glad to see that you're still putting videos out. It will be a sad day when they end. Thanks so much. Your are the best travel videos to date. And I watch a lot of travel sailing videos.
Bryan, please allow us Patrons to continue to pay you for your work (speaking for myself). I watch each of them multiple times so I really get my money's worth :)
You got islands. You got trees. You got wood. Have you thought about maybe carving a paddle to replace the one you lost. Or look for a board washed up on a beach?
I get nervous every time you mention the Pacific in Tarka 😲😲😲 NEways, this was such a relaxing video. That was amazing hearing the couple settled there for 6 years!
Great video , many thanks I am very interesting too around the world I am looking not expensive sailboat to continue sailing around the world I am from the garden island of Kauai. Fair winds and following seas
You guys should get a couple Hawaiian Slings for those lion fish. They're easy to kill and really delicious. Take some scissors or medical shears with you and cut off the barbs. A five gallon bucket with holes in the bottom and slits in the lid work great for holding lots of lionfish after you shoot them. Tie a rope to the handle and float it behind you in the water.
It's not at all that. It's family related. There's a chance that Tarka will be stored until things calm down, instead of sold, but it's also not a very nice thing to do to a boat.

For now the towing generator is just hooked up to a switch, so we can disconnect it if the batteries are charged and it doesn't hurt the generator. Our plan though is to use our battery monitor to do this regulator for us, as it has a built in programmable relay which we would use to switch a bigger relay. It's a Victron BMV-12
