Omg sis!!!! I found you finally!!!! The algorithm had suggested this channel to me but I lost the video before I could like and subscribe. Having forgotten your channel name and video title I spend days searching multiple combos of thrifted styling finds used vintage treasure outfits… for a moment I thought I hallucinated you. I wanted to say I love your style, I like how modest your attire is, and I love your energy and I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND YOU FINALLY!
Oh my gosh you don't know how happy this makes me to know that someone actively looked for my channel! Thank you! TH-cam is a weird place where you are talking to an invisible audience and it makes me feel that sometimes I'm only entertaining myself by making these videos. I really appreciate your kind words and I'm happy you found your way back! This Friday's upcoming video is another thrifting video so I hope you like it!
My mother was a career woman who had the typical wardrobe for a woman in her position. Lots of black, grey, navy and a few traditional tartan kilts and jackets. When she died at age 83 her closet contained new Good Will additions….metallics and (gasp!) pink! She never wore them because the tags were still on them but she was taking risks and having fun with her wine drinking gal pals.
My favorite outfit was the bodysuit alone with the beautiful light colored trousers. you have a beautiful figure And I truly appreciate the quality of brands and fabrics that you choose from the thrift store because I look for those same fabrics/brands as well I refuse to pay crazy money for theory cashmere sweaters when I can find them on Poshmark for a steal I love linen silk cashmere Cottons and natural Fabrics from well established brands especially from the 80s and 90s and early 2000s And look for things made in Italy France or the USA especially. Very sophisticated yet a little bit of BoHo breezy wardrobe you have Curated. Have a great day and enjoy your lovely wardrobe!!
Oh my gosh thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! Making these videos is not easy and very time consuming so when I get comments like yours it makes it all worth it! Yes all those fabrics are my favorites. I once bought a wool sweater at Goodwill that had new tags on it that read that it was handmade by a family in Italy and sold at Anthropologie... and can you imagine how fast I snatched that thing up?? Haha! So many great things can be found with patience and a good eye for quality, which it sounds like you have both of those things. Thanks for watching!
Me too! It's much more interesting to me than just walking into Nordstrom's and overpaying for the thing that everyone else has. What's the fun in that?
@4:40. Back in my hippie days I had a beautiful poncho from Peru. It was black, brown, tan and white with Alpacas 🦙 on it. (Made of Alpaca wool). I wore it over black leotard with black boots. I adored it but it weighed a ton!
Hard to find a wool skirt. So the poncho is perfect. I'm wearing a scarf that I wear as a skirt, similar to a summer sarong except not tied in a knot but pinned 😂🎉. Give a draped look down the front side
I love these finds! Do you keep all of them? As I am (making an effort to) decluttering, I sell and donate a lot of my thriftstore finds after a couple of times wearing. My style is evolving at the moment (an my weight fluctuates) But wow you my sister have “the Eye” for finding the true gems.
Thank you no I don't keep all of these clothes and the ones that I do want to keep must rotate out something that is there because I have zero space left!
It would be easier but it's just not shaped for it. It's cut pretty specifically for more room in the front. It's not like I need a ton of room in front, but then all of that room would be in the back! 😄
I really like your personality...but What you mean you wouldn't usa that as a poncho????? Hahaha, that would look super cool with a faux leather jogger o legging.
Lol when I got this comment notification I was thinking, "yes they probably don't" before I even knew what you were referencing. Pairing shoes has never been my focus but I chose these boots because the entire thing is comfortable and makes me feel those fall vibes. So, yes, I agree there's probably 100 other shoe choices that look better but I'd definitely be wearing these myself. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it! New Thrift Haul video coming today, ALL DRESSES! 😀
I plan on answering every response I can! It's the whole reason I started this channel. I actually do want to connect with people. I really hope people see that.
A jumpsuit like that would be great if the back split and you didn’t need to totally undress in a porta potty to pee. Maybe this is my Shark Tank moment….
There usually isn’t much size in plus size clothing in the thrift stores. Before you buy a piece of clothing that is oversized for you think about the woman who can’t find anything affordable to wear because of her size. I’m not saying don’t buy it. Just be sure you really love it.
Absolutely Genius using the poncho as a skirt OMG 😍
🥰
I’m really loving your channel since I discovered you the other day and have been binge watching your videos. Tons of inspiration to be found here!
I like how real your video is. Very down to earth and relatable
Thank you! I don't script anything out and I just talk normally as things happen so I'm glad you find them to be real because it totally is. 😊
Love your finds, style and comments.
Thanks so much! I plan on doing a lot more of these videos. I hope you come and hang out again!
I LOVE the 'poncho' skirt!!! ❤🥰

You really lit up in the watercolor anthropology dress! Great colors on you!
Thank you! ☺

Yesterday I bought a Charter Club Luxury 100% cashmere pullover sweater priced at $7.99 and 10% senior disc on top of that. Deal!
💯

I hadn’t seen you before you had your hair cut. The new short hair style is fabulous.
I love these finds!

Could you perhaps swop the red and white dotty blouse around? It looks like it would be possible and then it would be easier to button up 🙂👍

Lol! You are probably right about that. I just have weird feelings about ponchos! Thanks for sticking with me and my judgy judgy attitude. 😘
@@unblahyourself You are delightful. I’m glad I found your Channel! I’m in Denver, Colorado USA 🇺🇸.
The shoes at 10:12 do not go with the dress! ALL ELSE IS FANTASTIC

Lol yes! That is the biggest problem with jumpsuits.
😂😂😂😂
