As someone who studies firearms and has read the lore of the guns in game. It most likely stands for Carbine. Cause it doesn't have just a shorter magazine tube, but also a shorter barrel (4 inches shorter) than the Standard winfield.
I love the Winfield for the iron sights and handling. Another thing to mention, if I take in the mosin, and do badly I feel terrible. If I take in the Romero/Winfield/Springfield and do well, I feel amazing.
Another thing about Winnie Suppressed is that it has steeper damage drop-off, you’ll see it has shorter effective range (same with Nagant vs Nagant Silencer) which is why FMJ is decent on it to get more damage over distance. Winnie C also has marginally less sway than Winnie non-C so it’s better for lining up headshots easier.
I really don't see any reason to choose the winfield bayonet over the swift or any other variant for that matter. There is just nothing special about that weapon in my opinion. Maybe if it had a above average muzzle velocity or did slightly more damage than the average winnie maybe I just might be inclined. The bayonet and the extra rounds in the magazine just aren't enough for me.
The vandal deadeye is a great companion to a shotgun, it’s a good head clicker at range for when you’re pinned down somewhere in such a way that your shotgun isn’t helping you any. Plus if you’re using the terminus both guns benefit from levering
