Owww...thank you so much. After seeing a lot of videos finally i have seen your video and done the simulation by myself for the 1st time and i am so excited. Thanks a lot and want to see a videos about drag reduction by using spoiler and shark fin... Thank you again
Everything was smooth but there were no eddy current formation in my case .During visualization I could not spot one.Can you kindly tell what should I do ?
I have few doubts.. Please help me ! How can I determine the Characteristic Length of a car with its windows open for external CFD analysis in order to determine the drag force ? Also, what y+ value would you recommend in that case if k-w SST turbulent model is used ?
Hello. Sorry for the late reply. The characteristic length of the car will be same with the windows open. It will be the total length of the car. I am not sure about the y+ value for your case but you can keep it below or equal to 1 or keep it between 30 and 300. Hope that helps.
Hello. Make sure that the boolean subtract operation has been performed correctly. Then you can reduce your element size slowly until the mesh gets successfully generated. Keep sharing and supporting.
Hello. Ideally the wake region behind the car should be greater than the entry region so that we can accurately capture the flow behind the car. But in this tutorial for simplification purposes the car is placed at the center of the enclosure.
Hello. You can calculate drag coefficient in FLUENT by going in reports > forces > select the drag direction vectors and press compute. In the right side corner of console you will get value of drag coefficient.
My imported body won't line up in the middle of the coordinate system. Any help with that please? When I apply the symmetry it won't cut through the middle of the body. Please
trying to analyze f1 car but it is showing too many cells when it gets imported to fluent, i have student license so what can i do to reduce the cell count
Bro try to decrease the element size in the mesh. But you are saying that you are trying to analyse an F1 car. In that case the mesh should be fine so install a cracked version 😊
Did you buy an ansys license for private use? I would like to give it a go, but not sure how to get Ansys. By the I follow your group on facebook as well, and will be purchaisng some of your courses soon. Good work.

Very well explained. 😁
Glad it was helpful!
hai i want to ask, i have done the geometry and when i want to generate mesh, it said that failed mesh, what should i do? thank u
Hello. Make sure that the boolean subtract operation has been performed correctly. Then you can reduce your element size slowly until the mesh gets successfully generated. Keep sharing and supporting.
make sure that the domain is far greater than the model or vehicle and don't forget to keep outlet side greater from others as explained in the video
by perform this simulation how can i calculate the drag and lift coefficient values. response quickly.
Hello. When you print the lift and drag forces you can get the total lift and drag coefficient values in the right side corner of the console window.
Hello Brother did you get the values of those coefficients ? If yes share them ASAP

how can i take the crosswind to study stability? where i write the crosswind value as an input
Hey! Thank you for the detailed tutorial! May i ask which type of Honda is the one using in here?
Many thanks to you!
why didn't you use inflation ?
very nicely explained

on the solution part it dont be going down the arrows and i dont know why i have preeated everything thrice

Hello. You may need to move your geometry with move option or assembly > align option in spaceclaim.
Error showing while updating the mesh
But iam. Doing analysis of Tesla model s and it has 3000 parts
Pls give solution
