  • No issues in Ansys version 2020 R1, but as shown in a previous video, this process is not straightforward in 2020 R2:
    1. Importing an external geometry model into Ansys SpaceClaim and preparing the model for simulation (e.g. creating fluid domain enclosure)
    2. Generating a 3D poly-hexcore mosaic mesh using the Ansys Fluent Watertight Geometry Meshing Workflow
    3. Setting up a 3D steady incompressible single-phase turbulent flow to model external aerodynamics of a car rear spoiler in Ansys Fluent 2020 R1

    When supressing half the wing for physics, do I have to double the Lift and drag Force at the End ?

    It is a rear wing not a spoiler.
