I haven't tried the San Martin Explorer, but the quality of SM is well documented, and I had a watch back in the day, and it was quite nice to be honest. The thing is that for some reason I like the shape and proportions of the case of the Addies 1016 a bit more than the one of the SM 36 (however the proportions of the 39 version looks more in line with the Explorer 1016 but bigger).
Hola, well, first the idea is more about talking how we classify these watches as homages, true homages, originals and direct design copies. You might remember a picture I took of some watches of you where you had a 1016 lookalike. But I wanted to have one to try and compare too, as you suggest. It's going to be fun.
can you compare the San Martin SN017, SN019, SN084, SN0111 ?
What's the difference? Which is the newest? Which is the best?
I haven't tried those to be honest, but if I ever get hold of some of them, it will be an interesting review.
Price is crazy, good to start, but it cannot compete with San Martin, even though San Martin costs 3-4 times more.

Wow, I'm surprised. You bought a chinese watch! The comparison between the Traska, Rolex and Addis will be interesting.... Saludos!
