  • My longest ever ride to date!
In today's video, I participated in the Tour de France Legacy ride. The ride retraced the original Tour de France Grand Depart route ridden by professional riders back in 2014. I rode the "hardcore cyclists route" covering the full 233km, which is an amazing achievement for me!
This route saw some of the best Yorkshire climbs including; Cote de Buttertubs Pass and Cote de Grinton Moor!
I'd just like to say a big thanks to ‪@js_cycles‬ for sorting the back wheel out before the ride!

New subscriber - enjoying the context and hi from Halifax. Looking to getting a road or endurance bike, just so confusing with them all. What Boardman is that your riding? Great effort Graham and look forward to more content pal 👍

@@philwhiteley4704 Hello Phil, thank you for your comment! The Boardman bike I have is carbon fibre, I’ve had it about 12 years. Boardman bikes are reasonably priced and have good equipment if you’re just starting out. Facebook Marketplace has some good deals. I would recommend this bike I have, but depends how much you want to spend. My son had a bike fit recently after having bought an Orbea and had to change his saddle, bars and pedals etc. Bike shops usually recommended decent bikes, you may think they are trying to sell you the best to make money, but I really do recommend not cheaping out on specific parts you’d actually need because it will prevent injury in the long run! A tip would be to see what a bike shop recommends, then find something similar on Facebook or eBay and then once you’ve found a deal, take it to a bike shop for a fit and upgrade the parts you need! Thanks for subscribing 😁
