i wish you can also include rendering tutorial for this scene. as sometime ago i suffered with applying displacement on the outside without affecting the inside.. so i would appreciate it.. thanks
Nothing crazy just had a material for the interior and a different one for the exterior, in case that does not work you can always use an attribute or a texture mask in order to mix different displacement
Hello thank you so much for sharing this tutorial, I'm experiencing a problem: when I select first context geometry in the rbd packed object, nothing happen, I have to put SOP as geometry source to make it work but the whole almond is getting dynamic and doesn't stay in place and the particles are going crazy, they don't follow de constraints they emmit everywhere, does anyone knows how to fix it ?
Nice tutorial, the only problem I'm having is the normals not being corrected even though I'm using the facet and normal nodes with the attribute transfer. Any tips?
Hello, i have a question, when i trying split object head and lower_jaw and add 2 null node and type @class==1 i have only 1null - no one object 2null - all 2 object... I mean its didnt split on head and lower, its split on 0 object and 2 object, help me pls(((
do to this being a old video i wasted my time like 1years old not work anymore so but i had fun playing with the node's even if it didn't work because the way nodes work in houdini changed in houdini uptade versions
I don't understand, this was made with Houdini 19.5. I haven't tested it on 20 but I'm pretty sure there is nothing that changed that dramatically to break the functionality
In the split node, I'm only getting one of the constraints and not the other one. I even input the formula @constraint_tag=concrete_fracture1 like you did but it didn't show the second one. How can I make the split show the different contraints?
Hi, thank you for the tutorial! When I want to animate my constrains geometry - I just don't see it in the solver like in your tutorial. I can see it before solver, but by adding solver and checking the relationships geometry I see nothing.
@@OlgaTsybulina Could you please share your method? My constraint names are the same and dopnet doesn't recognize the constraint. Tutorial back and forth to see a few times, also did not find the problem, almost crash.
@@DynamicDongDynamic_ Hi, I animated constrains network outside of dopnet - right after the split node. And inside of dopnet I skipped part of the tutorial about adding aditional solvers. I wish I can send you a screenshot.
The original geometry keeps the original UVs, fracturing will give you both UVs for the internal faces and a group to separate interior and exterior faces, you just apply your materials to those two groups
@@dextermotion559 hi actually I'm new to Houdini, previous i have learnt Maya, if possible can you share any link or can you create a short video please, will be much helpful. Thank you for creating such nice videos.
guys check for bounding box size if it's not animating properly!
I like your tutorials because they are very effective.
They give clear elements to be able to develop even more complex effects
Thank you for how each node works
That render looks exquisite
And the tutorial is fantastic, there is a lot of new and very useful information here
But not the rendering process included 👎🏻
Amazing tutorial!
Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks! :)
Awesome!!
Thank you very much!
nice tutorial simple and easy! :D
Thank you!
Nice one dude
Very well done!
supernice!

Check the geometry spreadsheet make sure it exists and is named like that
@@dextermotion559 Oh it worked! I just changed the "1" to "2", thank you ♥

Hey awesome tutorial. Notice that the discord link is invalid
let me double check that
fixed, thanks for noticing

Make sure your constraint name matches
I ended up animating constraints outside of dopnet and it worked out 💪 thank you for your tutorial! Your machine is also way faster then mine lol

I come from Blender, not Maya or Cinema4D 🙄 Why no rendering setup ?!
My rendering workflow is to add an hdri, rotate it till it looks good, render :)) and I can't share the hdris cause I don't own them.
@@dextermotion559 no I'm asking for the workflow with Karma.. setting it up
But how to render it with textures
