    Great video, extremely thorough, and solid examples. I think compared to the usual dual fisheye 360 cameras, this seems to have a bit more resolution and better stitching with its 4 photo approach. The only thing I would have really liked to see is downloadable image samples, since you can only judge so much from a TH-cam video. That said, all of this is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Nick, great review thanks. I have a couple of questions for you:
    In this video you mention that you like to remove the tripod from the nadir in your pictures, how do you do this, maybe you have another video of this you can point me to?
    What was the 360 viewer software you were using in this video, you said it so fast i couldnt make it out ;)
    Thanks and keep up the awesome videos please!

    Interesting video Nick. I've been using a Z1 as well as a camera/pano head solution for a while. The Trisio is an interesting concept and I like the simplicity, but there are a few negatives in there; the lack of RAW/DNG (something I don't see them adding due to the quite limited internal storage space). Non-removable battery. Settings? It looks from your video as if there is no way to adjust anything i.e. ISO, shutter speed. Is that correct?. If so, what ISO range does the camera use and does it resort to upping it in dark areas leading to noise issues - or does it have a set ISO and just increase the shutter speed?

    • @NickPowellPhotography
      @NickPowellPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, all the settings are automatic. I am not sure about the ISO range, however when I did the low light test, the results were very impressive. The camera has built in noise reduction, which seems to work well.

    • @NickPowellPhotography

      Not Matterport, but you can use any other software. I have been using 3D Vista for over 5 years and you can see the review video on my channel. It's amazing!

    Hey Nick! Great video, I'm thinking about buying a Trisio Lite 2, the results seem great, my only question is how do the realtors display these images in their websites? Most times I see something about matterport, so do the websites need anything to receive Trisio images? Thanks!

    • @NickPowellPhotography
      @NickPowellPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is an absolutely amazing camera for real estate tours. If you check out my most recent video on 3D Vista, that is what I'd recommend. 👍
      Matterport is liked by realtors, however once they see what 3D Vista can do, they will think twice!

    Thanks for another great video Nick. I have been thinking about getting a Theta Z1 for more budget friendly jobs, but clearly the Triso Lite is much cheaper. Taking account that the Triso does yet provide RAW files, how do you think the results compare? Is the ThetaZ1 worth the extra £300?

    • @NickPowellPhotography
      @NickPowellPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The Z1 is more than £300 extra. For budget friendly jobs, Trisio is the King. And that's not my affiliate head talking as I get nothing from it. It's just brilliant.

      @work9909 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dunno, 6k resolution for a panorama is just not quite enough pixel even shooting in the best condition. 8k will be just about ok, 12k should be the best quality. When you think of 8k, it basically just 4x 1080p image stitching together, 6k is more like 4x 720p ish which just not quite enough in today standard.

    • @NickPowellPhotography
      @NickPowellPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@work9909 The Trisio creates 8k images, which for general real estate work and budget jobs is more than enough. Especially when you run the images through Topaz.
      For my high end work though, I use the Sony A7iv with a fisheye lens, which gives 18k.

    • @NickPowellPhotography
      @NickPowellPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never used the Z1 personally, however I do know that the Trisio provides a slightly higher final resolution. However the Trisio doesn't do 360 video, and it only shoots JPEG, but the final images are outstanding.

    Nick, how do you feel the quality is vs Z1..... I know Z1 is more expensive - but in terms of an in camera 360, not wanting to do DSLR, is this giving better results than the Z1?

    • @NickPowellPhotography
      @NickPowellPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the quality is better overall, taking into account workflow time as well. Yes the Z1 shoots DNG, however the HDR processing with the Trisio is excellent, so it only needs a few tweaks, which is fine with a JPEG image,

    • @NickPowellPhotography

    • @NickPowellPhotography
