  • Urban exploring the abandoned Northridge Mall. While exploring this creepy scary abandoned Northridge Mall we ended up tripping the security alarms a couple times. The abandoned Northridge Mall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been closed since the early 2000's. We go exploring in areas of this abandoned mall that most will not dare to go. We investigate every dark shadow of the abandoned Northridge Mall. We end up finding an old crime scene and things get really scary. This abandoned mall is highly secure and we are not responsible for what you do.

    abandoned Malls usually have heavy security. I have seen others get caught and charged with tresspassing in places like this. Good find. Be careful.👍😝

    • @NearShadows
      @NearShadows  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, we found out that a bunch of people where getting arrested the weekend after we visited. But we also heard they were not very smart about how they accessed the mall. We believe the alarm we heard was actually real not a scare tactic like we originally thought. But we explored for 4-5 hours that day with no issue.

    Northridge Mall. My childhood mall my parents took me to the most as a young kid. It declined throughout the 90s with crime driving people away. In fact I couldn’t go there in high school in the late 90s and 2000 since it got too dangerous.

    Awesome tour! I'm just wondering how you got in from the Gimbels side, the fences seemed impenetrable over there when I drove around the area yesterday. I've never been since it was abandoned (I've always wanted to but I don't have a safe group to go with), but I've heard of more people going in near JCP.

    • @NearShadows
      @NearShadows  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you! Much appreciated. I won't say publicly how to get in. But if you park in a safe place and walk around the building everywhere you will find ways in. You just have to look and think outside the box. Pay attention to hints that anybody may have left on the walls. If you do go don't go alone as I heard many noises and ran into a weird person when in this building I just didn't have my camera on to show it.

      They didn't film it there, but they should have! The film is meant to take place in a Milwaukee mall, and since Northridge closed only a year earlier than the more recent film's release, it would have been a perfect venue. They ended up using a defunct mall in Ontario that they renovated for the movie.
