    I use the yellow mushrooms found in crypts to mark my way. Since they are already there. Picked ones on ground marks the route, unpicked ones means I have not been there yet.

      All you have to do is the "right wall" method: enter dungeon > stick to the right wall > clear each room following the right wall > eventually get back to the entrance (forming a looped path).

    Regarding breaking down buildings... using the hoe can also work. If there's a low spot on the ground next to the building, use the hoe to lower the ground the building is on. Soon enough the building will start crumbling.

    Dig out around the flame vents in the swamp. When you come back into the area, Surtlings will spawn, then instantly die in the water, and voila, free surtling cores.

    Extra swamp tip: When you have placed a fire in the crypts, it dries you out so you don't have the wet debuff. It will do this from a distance even if you are on the other side of a wall. It also puts an orange glow on the ground even through walls and this makes it easier to find the entrance.

    When doing first copper mines, build a stake wall enclosure to keep dwarves away.
    Also, if you dig under the copper, it provides shelter for fire/resting and workbench/repair.
    Faster/easier way to demo stone structures is to undermine them by digging under the foundation. The whole thing will collapse and you don't need to bring in iron for the stonecutter.

    3:10 on crafting you can hit the craft bar again and cancel. 8:00 on Delves / Dungeon always stick to left or right wall, eventually you'll cover the full place since it's only 3 paths. For the Leviathan you can log off when it starts to sink to reset it. Silver is always starfish shaped and can spawn near or on other veins, Mine below them and then hitting the center avoids wolves, golems and drakes plus the full vein will explode when you tap the middle. Golems are ok but you get more crystal from the ice caves, there are crystal clusters, just pick them like rocks DON'T use a tool or attack them.

    3:31 i would honestly make the starting zone your poetal hub. Have a single portal at home to here, and here leads to everywhere. Put a main outpost in each biome near the boss altar and put its portal(at the hub) by his stone in the spawn circle(for quick id at a glance) and at each outpost you can have portals for other key areas in a biome if u need that many, if not just throw them all in main hub circa del main outpost portal. Makes sense to me(im also like 6 hrs in and still stone age)

      @@Kroclo Normally when you build your snapping points are at the ends or corners of things, like a 2m x 2m floor or a 2m wood beam. The smallest object with snapping points is a 1m beam. But what if you want snapping point with even higher resolution? Wood door (not gate) has 3 snapping points, I assume to give you to option to indent the door inwards for example, on each of it's bottom ends. It so happens they are exactly 0,5m apart. You can use that to perfectly center hearth, a very unruly thing which is 3m wide which means you'd 0,5m spaces for each other edge you're placing it on. so instead of eyeballing it with shift and never getting it right you place a door, as you normally would a 1m beam for example to add an extra snapping point. Same goes for log beams but vertically, they give you 0,5m snapping points but up or down. Hearth is just one application, but slightly shifting things inwards (or outwards) to give builds more depth is a great thing and with wood door it just is much more precise for people with ocd like me xD
      Ill check those vids too ;)

    Maybe this is a dumb question, but how do you all get rid of junk? I wish the game would allow you to scrap old equipment for a portion of the original materials. I have my main base sparkling everywhere with piles of trash mats.

    • @Kroclo
      @Kroclo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Daniel Thanks for watching if you want to get rid i tend to chuck stuff away in the ocean or far enough from base so it will despawn after a bit. Workbenches and general base building will stuff items from despawning.

      You can also build the Obliterator with the thunder stone from Haldor the merchant. This converts everything to coal, albeit less efficiently than a kiln converts wood.

      Hi 2Calalilly I can understand graphics can put people of on some games, when you play the game. It will not be as noticed TBH as game play and exploration will distract from it if you don't like the style. friend mine says about terraria i take one look and i am same but a lot people enjoy it, so i have not ruled it out completely just yet haha.

      I stopped playing Conan exiles to play this because there's so much more to do. Not a fan of low poly games either, but they're starting to come around and look better. I also played Pitfall (Atari 2600) and Tombraider (PS1) back in the day, so I know it takes more than graphics to make a good game.
