Lasting power update:
I wore this foundation throughout the day for about 8 hours with very little powder and it is still in place. I got a bit more oily around the nose so bring blotting paper but it still looks really good :)

The orinary is just amazing. I love all their skincare products an i still don't know how they manage to be affordable
they manage to be affordable by being real. All of these big companies are just like fucking APPLE, you pay for their names. Vichy mineral 89 per example, it's 80% water, and what they advertise as active ingredients, are less than 0,5 %.
They're a smaller part of Deciem which is pretty huge in skincare and makeup so they can afford to have a brand that's more affordable.
No bullshit ingredients. That’s why, they are brilliant.
They also don’t put much money towards marketing and packaging which helps reduce the costs by a lot

I love The Ordinary's products! So many cheap and effective products. The philosophy behind the brand is another thing I admire. Their skincare is super "no b*llshit." I also love how many shades they offer! I just wish it had SPF in it. :c

SPF in your make up does not protect you from the sun. There is not enough in there.

Looks AMAZING. I love love this foundation as well. I have Born This Way and Makeup Forever HD but this one, I get the most comments that my skin is glowing with the Ordinary one!

Some people reported that those foundations broke them out because of the coconut derivatives. Have you experienced any clogged pores/breaking out?
It did clog my pores and i only wear ot for 4-5 hours :/
Tysm for being so in love with this foundation and being so radiant. I am literally on the deciem website in distraught that my supposed shade is out of stock. I was thinking of getting the liquid one but I'm deciding with the cream. I'm not sure I'll purchase just yet because I'm waiting for the sun care to come out. Love your videos

i'm so lucky the ordinary is sold in stores where i live... but i still havent gotten the foundation cause some of the shades are always sold out! i guess most people are a medium skin tone so the rack is always missing the tones..
Your review just pushed me to hit purchase! I was so uncertain with shades since you said your shade was a bit light and according to Wayne's chart you fell toward the end. I last got matched at NC43 but this was before I went on holiday and got fairly tanned so I went for 3.0Y with the coverage foundation and 2.1Y for serum foundation in hopes that if the 2.1Y is too light it'll blend ok/I can have it for when I lose my tan. Also purchased the glycolic acid (a supposed dupe for the pixi tonic which I love) and the marula oil which gothamista recommends!

I want to try this but I'm afraid it won't work. I've tried the it cosmetics cc cream, mac waterweight, and loreal pro glow and they all caked on my dry patches. Honestly don't know my options

depends on your undertone really. the N shades are for neutral undertones, the P are for pink undertones, the Y are for yellow undertones, the YG for yellow with golden undertones (if you have very yellow skin), and the R for red. you can find photos online of people of different skintones wearing the different shades, and Sarah also put a shade-matching chart in the description box :)

Nothing is full coverage unless you layer the foundation. Trust me I’ve tried many foundations and they can’t even cover completely for an Asian girl with freckles like me. You have pretty skin you really don’t need foundation by the way.
