1:35 "I decided to spend mana and upgrade a monument" bro both options upgrade monument. In one case you spend 150 mana in another youi get 1-2 stacks of rebels. You've chosen mana lol
Not sure if it was mentioned. But you have to occupy to gain the core with mandate. Frustratingly manual practice, but worth it for free real estate. Glad to see more videos! Love your chill down to earth style and explanations.
Ah yes, I did occupy them but in a couple of wars not all got auto-cored. Not sure if it’s a bug with a non-Chinese tag, or I did something wrong. And thank you! :)
As always, fun to watch. A bit of constructive criticism, if you do not mind mate. It is hard to watch some parts of your videos on phones, UI is just too small on my screen. If you could fix it, that would make our life so much easier. Anyway, I guess most would keep watching even if you didn't find a solution. At least, I will a 100%!
May I ask what I did wrong? I followed everything you did but let the rebels change my provinces to Mayan. But after reforming to a tribe I was unable to fabricate claims or anything on anyone so I wasn’t able to expand at all
Hmm, I did a lot of trial and error - as I recall, you can start fabricating on neighbors after you pass certain government reforms. Before that, the system will block you. After becoming a tribe, I wasn't able to expand for a few years.
@@StrategySphereyes thank you! I just continued to play for a bit and figured it out. I didn’t realize you could settle proveniences so fast so it slowed me down a lot, my second attempt has been way more successful 1553 and all of Mexico is mine. On my first attempt I was a bit faster but I got really unlucky and Castile decided to start colonizing right on my home lands so I lost most of them before I got the reform to fully settle 😂 . Also just wanted to say thank
@@StrategySphereagain your videos are amazing I’m attempting my first world conquest with help of this, I’m new to tag switching and all so a fun new challenge
@@alexjudd7807 thanks for the update, I’m glad it worked! From here, the key would be getting some strong alliances so the colonizers don’t attack you. Otherwise it could become an endless cycle of getting attacked by France, then Spain, then GB, then France again… :)
Haha sorry, I ran out of free Mariachi songs! :) Overall, music is the trickiest aspect of video production, still learning my way through the risky waters here.
@@StrategySphere 1789.3 hours into EU4 and 90% of those games never went long enough to reach the age lol, the few that did were long before the age dlc was a thing. You didn't fail at explaining it, I just had no frame of reference for what it did.
Ah, that must be it! I looked in Wiki and it said there’s 20% minimum coring cost, which I converted to 80% max CCR. Yep, totally possible to form Yuan. It doesn’t seem to impose any religion. I didn’t consider it necessary based on my CCR calculations :)
Thanks, I used to speak Mandarin fluently, and visited China many times. Unfortunately now I speak better Japanese (long time living in Japan, plus wife).
Hell yeah, he's fully back!!!! Great video 👍
Thanks a lot :) glad you liked it!
An absolute banger as always Alex, keep up the great work! Excited to see the sunset invasion and everything else you’ve got in store for us!
Thanks so much, more on the way! :)
What a great video to come back to your channel! Great work as I remember, Strategy. ❤
Thanks much, and welcome back!

Thanks much, and makes sense. Unfortunately I’ve already recorded the next few campaigns… will see what I can do with zoom, maybe.
@@StrategySphere of course, that was to be expected.
I just said it for you to know. I'll keep watching the campaings regardless :)
Much appreciated! :)
I haven't played in the New World at all in my 2000 hours, so I'm looking forward to trying it with the next dlc.
It’s actually not that bad even now, and should become even more interesting soon. I had lots of fun with the Aztecs.
ALEX IS BACK!
👍😂
Please do the Sunset Invasion achievement!
Hi! Yep, already played / recorded the game, just need to get to it in my editing queue.
@@StrategySphere Thanks for your great videos 💯
anbother great one. quick question, do you need the DLC for the tribal nation mechanic (conquest of paradise i think?) to do this?
Yes, I believe so. I play with all DLCs enabled, personally. And thank you :)
YAY x2!
👍🥂
I'd like to see the sunset invasion too :)
Thanks -- it's now recorded, gotta get to it in my editing sequence...
Instant like.
Thank you 🙏
would love to see the sunset invasion achivement run
Thanks - and yep, it’s already recorded, need to get to it in my editing queue.
good shit.™
😀👍
Would you ever attempt an Aztec world conquest?
Hi! Yes, I absolutely want to try it when the new DLC comes out. Should be fun!
@@StrategySphere Might be fun if you tried to roleplay it. So you keep Aztec culture/religion & get those sacrifices. 🤩
@@sirmount2636 I’m very curious to see how the region will look like after the update, this could be a good idea! :)
@@StrategySphere I’ll be watching! 😄

I love this music.
Edit, it gets worse in the middle, should have kept the mexican music.

More to come! :)
hello whats the graphic mod that u use? i love it
Hi! It’s “theatrum orbis terrarum” from the Steam Workshop. It’s compatible with Ironman.
@@StrategySphere thanks
Let's goooo!!
Woohoo!
Can you explain the court and country thing for dummies? What is the goal from it? Just max absolutism?
Sorry I didn’t explain well - if you successfully complete this disaster, you get +20 max absolutism. That’s basically it.

What is seventeen and a half hundred? is saying thousand scary?
Haha just a habit.
I think the max ccr is actually 81.7% that makes coring 6 months, and wouldnt it be possible to form yuan and not become confucian?

Shame this is made before the new update for the new world, but great vid nonetheless!
Yeah, I almost gave up when I saw the new DLC announcement. But I had fun, so completed the video!
Do you speak mandarin or something by chance? The way you say the city names is pretty Chinese like
