Just once I would like to watch you without you starting out every video apologizing for everything, especially your hands. We don’t watch your show to look at your hands. We watch because we like you and your content. Just relax, have fun like we are, and stop worrying about your hands and everything else that we don’t see anyway. 😊 ❤
A tip for undoing chain tangles is to lay in a hard surface and put a pen into the middle of the knot and draw/ wiggle back and forth to loosen the knot.
At 33:13 the one on the left is a copy of a coin fron the Atocha, a Spanish treasure gallion sunk off florida in 1655. It says copy but some of the ones that say copy were made with silver from bars that were on the ship.
That was fun. Thank you for sharing. Jewelry Magical Mystery Tour! Goodies! YUM! Much love....peace & happy trails ...hunting. The only way to ever be STONED!!! lol!
Hi Jason am enjoying watching your jewerly unjarring Carolyn. There are some nice treasures in this jar. Don't worry about your nails am watching the jewerly. You do have some nice hands smooth and not dry. Again nice treasures. Waiting for the next video have a great new week. Like the whitening and davis pendant
I for one happen to love Chicos jewelry and I bought some key pieces while I was still a working woman they are still beautiful also Coldwater which I believe is no longer open had some nice pieces as well
Chicos makes beautiful pieces I wish I had a market for it! I bought a huge collection about 6 years ago, all new with tags, needed up having to give away 😵💫
Your hands are fine. They are clean. They are artist and crafters hands. Never apologise unless they are unnecessarily grubby and ungroomed! Yours are absolutely fine. 😊😊❤❤
The ones you described as Mogul style if I'm right that is a 18K Gold Plated Bulgari Inspired 1980s Multi Stone Clip On Earrings I used to have a a pair of those in 1985 would love to have another pair
That chain you dismissed might actually be silver . it looks like it went through a rolling mill. I took a few years of jewelry making classes . of course it hard to tell bc I on!y saw it a quick second
I almost never comment on jewelry assembly videos, but I like hearing u talk. It’s not cause ur voice is warm masculine, it’s cause it’s friendly and fun. I thought u should know u have a nice talking voice. I’ve never heard of a mystery Jewelry Jar. Of course I gave up thrifting when they started locking stuff behind the register. That’s all donated stuff. If it’s stolen, it’ll be by someone who needs it. GW needs to check themselves before I go back in there ijs
Most states have laws against selling any used pierced jewelry...earrings as well as body jewelry. Its against health dept codes and guidelines. I'm curious how these companies do it without being sited.😇❤️
I don't think this is correct. Most stores have policies in place in which body jewelry and the like cannot be returned due to them not reselling these items but in terms of selling used jewelry in general there are some guidelines and rules applicable regarding materials (ie things like lead or arsenic, or organic items like mother of pearl, ivory, and turtle shell), and bills of sale etc... but aside from that it's not illegal to resell earrings or body jewelry so long as it's labeled as used and not new. Pawn shops do it all the time. Ebay does it with vintage items. And second hand stores and thrift stores also do this all the time. I've actually tried looking for any laws regarding this being illegal to do and I've not found anything to confirm what you're saying so unless you can provide me with the laws or bill numbers themselves I'm gonna say this is likely inaccurate. ❤
It is my first time on the channel. Your video popped up on my feed & I quite enjoyed it. 😊 The brooch from Maine and the cameo pendant were my favourites.
Good pickings on this day a month or so ago. Have been learning lots and bought a small jewellery lot from marketplace. It was mostly rubbish but I saw two pieces that I liked out of seven pieces. Nice to find a 24 C gold plating over sterling bracelet made in Italy and a designer necklace with a name cartouche. It looks to be smoky quartz or topaz faceted stones cold clear and lovely. It has some gold? little thingies between the stones but so filthy I can’t tell what they might look like when I clean them up. The cartouche says LANG. I did some research. It’s a good find I think. I like it and will wear it happily. Not bad for $10. Silly stories from this lame old duck lol Love your work❤
Hello..you tube knows my love of jewelry so you popped up. I absolutely love your Jar love the bracelets the most. No Jars in my neck of the woods. Love the video ❤❤❤

Really fun to watch. I have tubs and tubs of vintage costume jewelry left by M-I-L. A lot has verdigris (new term for me, thanks!) but a lot doesn’t. Love the idea of the surprise jars!

@@prestonstmarket I bought at a hospital thrift for 12.00. I feel like eating Moroccan food when I wear this set. I pair it with a short gold necklace and a gold filigree elephant and ruby at the end of trunk from the same 70s. Anyways it is fun to wear. Have a fantastic day.

Yep!! 😂
The ‘odd’ looking stainless ring was a beer bottle opener! Fun watch thank you -:)
I have some questions. I recently got a gem tester. Where would Chalcedony fall in the presidium, where would larimar fall in the pressy?
I’m not sure on that one, let me check my book and I’ll get back to you!
I for one happen to love Chicos jewelry and I bought some key pieces while I was still a working woman they are still beautiful also Coldwater which I believe is no longer open had some nice pieces as well

It would be cool if you found some 925 sterling silver necklaces/ rings in one of those Mystery Jars. 💍
I’m so happy with the good vintage costume!!

The sterling necklace with the Lotus tag, the stone is most likely prehnite. The sterling ring with the pale yellow stone...citrine.
Thank you!
Just found you your channel is awesome!!!!! Love how you inform us on the details!❤

The dainty silver chain with the small pendant looked like a peridot stone

That lil gold earring is so so gorgeous. I'd even wear it just on one ear. Lol
You’re so sweet 🥰 What’s your best find to date? Some beautiful pieces. One day you’re going to get very lucky 🍀
Oh my, it would have to be all the gold I’ve found in mystery bags, which has happened a lot, but not recently.
Most states have laws against selling any used pierced jewelry...earrings as well as body jewelry. Its against health dept codes and guidelines. I'm curious how these companies do it without being sited.😇❤️

Thanks so much, it’s hard to find jars here also, when I do find them I grab all I can 😂
13:32 the ear rings look like the 4 bracelets. 15:00 is a bottle opener.

Love the pin, your nails are fine
Use vegetable oil and sugar to take off oil/alklyd paints and stains
Thanks for the tip, I’ll try for sure!!
The bracelet at the 19 min mark is a pandora bracelet. Couple hundred dollars worth on it (buying retail)
I’ll have to give it a second look, I saw no marks at all and it did not test sterling.
I don't know if you figured it out yet but the "very interesting" ring, the silver one with the odd shaped hole. Its a bottle opener.
10000 comments have alerted me 😵💫😬
Interesting jar, alot of beautiful costume jewellery, other than reclaiming the gems if any not really worth that much. Probably all cursed or discarded by buyers remorse.

Mystery boxes go on eBay from time to time or in my weekly auction
@ 15 minutes: the "interesting ring" is actually a bottle opener ring from the late '70's. Popular in Scandinavia at the time.
The ring at 14:55 is a bottle opener ring. :)
I like that black ring how much for it

The longitude and latitude of the necklace is Mellby Hall in Wisconsin. It’s a student dormitory. Maybe a student who graduated here?
Great thought!!
First time ive seen your channel. Wow i love things like this.❤

You can easily clean verdigris off if you have patience (I do not lol).
6:20 that’s beautiful 🤩
Yes 🫶
The small green stone looks like aventurine
That heavy silver snake necklace is Thai silver, and relatively valuable.
Yep it did very well!
Just to give you a heads up hon the ring you pulled out and put on your index finger you said it was interesting that's not just a ring that's a bottle top opener. For like a beer bottle or a soda bottle. That's what it is

Yes, very good quality!
So much of this looks like the stuff we found in my mother’s jewelry box.
Good stuff!!!
That one odd ring is a bottle opening ring...for beer bottles.
I could be wrong but the first ring might be silver sheen obsidian. I didn’t see the ring super well but that’s my guess.
It’s very possible, sometimes hard to see on the camera!
That bracelet at 06:40 is Julianna for Celebrity. Their Moroccan line. Easily worth $50 plus!!
Yep you are correct!!
The 1st ring looks like a glass beer bottle opener or maybe even a can opener for an outdoorsy person.
That ring is a bottle opener!! You'll be everyone's friend at party's!!! 17:00 🥳🥳😂🎉🍻🍺🎊🎇🎆 That will be so much fun!!!! And some wonderful finds as a bonus!😜👑 Enjoy!!
You got that right!
Those bangles might be ivory. They have some shading on the edges similar to how ivory looks when it ages.
Cheers.
Yes!
Former leather worker who rarely wore gloves... I discovered that if I hand washed dishes the dye was gone when I finished
Good idea!!
The interesting ring is a bottle opener for beer lol
Hi, Jason. I think I remember you saying you sell jewelry for people. What kind of commission do you take?

That blue chico necklace is a need
You actually had several sets there there were some earrings that matched the bracelet set and you had a long I think you called it a sparkly element on long necklace and you had earrings that went with that
Yep, remember I see this just as you all see it. I do my sorting and identification after the video is over.
If you want, try soaking your nails in Mineral Oil and then gently scrub with a soft brush and see if it comes off with that??
Thanks I will definitely try!
I have the celebrity mosaic 5 panel by D&E Julianna bracelet and earrings.
Such a beautiful set, the bracelet did VERY well in auction!
That one silver rain looked like a bottle opener
NICE BRACELT.
Que tal huelen las piezas? Es buen metal? O todos aleación de zinc y latón?
It’s mixed!
At the. 15:00 mark, that weird ring is actually a bottle cap opener. For the beer lover.
