'til the day I die
This was way ahead of its time back in 1978! Amazing pioneering for the genre. Bassline is one of the best I've ever heard.
I was 7 when this album came out..
Music from 70’s & early 80’s was pre-auto tune & recorded back up vocals or instrumentals.
It was just pure talent.
1978 had some of the best musical groups
I'm sure God didn't write this but He sure gave this group the talent.
God sure wrote it when Kirk Franklin sampled the beat for Stomp though
One nation under Quarantine!
😂 🎶Here's a chance to dance our way out of the Corona🎶

George Clinton is the Funk master General of funk! Thanks for posting this Funkadelic masterwork!
Actually, Bootsy Collins is the real king of Funk!

guys bernie worrell is gone lets all cherish the good jams that funkadelic has brought my heart is shattared damn legend is gone
Yup--this ends an era. Worrell was a genius.
Right on brother!!!
agree 1000%, Mr.Worrell made the keyboards sing and the Funk Poet Master Mr. Clinton sang it out...The world is a lesser place without him...modern day Mozart he was. Joe Sample, Joe Zawinul, and now Bernie, all of them gone TOO soon, will always his music, what I would like is to meet Mr.Clinton, tell him in person. " Look BOTH ways before you cross my MIND" G. Clinton
one of the most talented bands we ever had god bless the Funk.
TOAST yes I'm very old school
Show the universe that you are alive and happy.
Get up and bust a move.

Right now it's one WORLD under a groove to fight 💪 covid-19 killer😎🤒
James Farrell I promise to Funk...the WHOLE Funk, and nuthin but the Funk! Where’s my whistle?
💯
Authentic black music at its most beautiful 💕 best. Pure genius. Unmistakably original, I just love 💕 this. Dance away at Liverpool's TimePiece club, back in the day. Nothing can beat this.💓One Nation Under a Groove, Getting Down Just For The Funk of It.❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely this is black music I danced to in my younger days not the political monotonous dross of modern day . And I'm white.
I was 12 years old when I heard this, LOVED IT! I'm 53 now and a white dude from Detroit and have been jammin this on the drums ever since!
