I was a DJ back in college ('77 to '81) and when l played this (the 15 minute album version) and backed it up with 12" version of Rappers Delight (by the Sugar Hill Gang) you got your "full body workout", for real! This is my all time favorite Parliament / Funkadelic joint. I can listen to this anytime of day! It does take me back to the simpler times. I wish l could find this version on Spotify! When l really get reminiscent, l go to the den, turn on the amp, throw the album on the turntable and crank up the volume! There's nothing like it!
