    Easy cruise is absolutely useless.. you have no way to disengage it in the emergency situations.

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Bro you can disengage it,but for that you need to be habitual with it. And also it not for busy roads. Obviously it has to be used carefully.
      I have used it in my Ladakh ride when I was cruising on Kashmir highways. It was quite relaxing but again yes we have to be precautious while using it.

    • @poetictrail200

      @@poetictrail200 Bro, you know how people use ADAS here. That is the only reason I wrote. By the way I am really looking forward to hear about the comforts you have added, keeping pillion in mind.

      😂 yeah bro, true. Pillion comfort is really great right now with the pillion foot pegs extender. I mean the foot placement angle right now is superb.
      So it’s a very useful accessory, specially for those who ride with pillion or have a wife / girlfriend 😂

      I am amazed at such a risky modification. The release mechanism should be a instantaneous and quick one.... This one fails absolutely. Not a sane modification.

    Mods are awesome. Very well explained video. Got to learn few extra things like air-cushion seats

  • @Amitn94
    @Amitn94 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    That is not the purpose of the Barkbusters. The use case of the hand guards are in the name itself. It's for off road riding where you'll encounter "barks" of trees hitting your hands. Not for saving your levers when you fall. That just happens to be a byproduct of the guards. And the suspension preload adjusters are just that. They adjust the preload of your front suspension according to your weight and suspension sag. They don't "uplift" anything.

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Brother, that’s is very technical you are talking though you are right but in the real world we never encounter barks very often. these bark busters Do protect the levers from the fall. And many of us have encountered and saved our levers from this. We are never riding between the forests and hiting into the barks. And the preload thing. I just said it in a very non technical way to make people understand. Because there are lot of people who don’t understand the language you are trying to explain. Though you right☺️ No offense but bro seriously do you think in India how many people are riding into the situation where they will encounter “barks” of the trees.

    • @Amitn94
      @Amitn94 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@poetictrail200 What I'm saying is not technical at all but quite basic. People will understand. By trying to be non-technical as you propose, you're not only undermining the intelligence of your audience who's looking forward to accessorising his 650 , but also peddling wrong information such as uplifting of the forks which they will preach elsewhere. The travel of the forks does not increase - Shumi back when he was on powerdrift has an excellent video on preload adjusters...
      Also I'm sure you know you get simple metal guards for levers if your main purpose is to protect them and not your hands.

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Amitn94Bro I know what you are saying. Got your point. I was not liking the other metal guard which are available in the market but found these and were quite strong so go these for my bike. Obviously these are not original ones but did the job for me. When I was doing ladakh last year they literally saved the levers. So worked for me.The other guards very fragile.

    Not sure if I m right. But if priority is cruising and touring why not buy a touring specific bike instead of making so many adjustments thru after market accessories.
    Having said I liked all your modifications, very practical and useful. 🤝

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi, Bro
      you are right at your part but the scene is I am very fond of this engine but the stock interceptor had so many things missing in it in terms of touring and off-road capabilities as well. But then after doing these adjustments to the bike I almost achieved what I was looking into my version of interceptor which is best suitable for me. Also there is no other engine option in the market as smooth and powerful than interceptor under this budget even after all these modifications. Also you know it that Royal Enfield’s bikes are way more reliable than any other brand in the market. When we talk about Indian road conditions as they have service centre all around the country.

    • @unscriptedrides
      @unscriptedrides 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you buy Interceptor - you get engine rest everything is subpar so its the best bike for customization and cheapest two-cyclinder engine. 2-cylinder are smooth less vibration. No amount of goodies on single cylinder bike can match it. Even latest Himalayan is just 40hp, KTM Adv is also around same. Interceptor is 47bhp. Apart from Suspension, everything in his setup is notch above 2023 Himalayan. Interceptor/conti 650 is the best bike one can buy for 3.5L in India.

      Bro clutch kharab hone ki sabse badi wajah hai bahaut riders clutch ko halka sa press karke hi rakhte hai. And breaking bhi vese hi lete hai pehle clutch press kiya phir break liya. Khud ko bhi notice nahi hota ye baat ki clutch par hath rakha hua hai to sabse pehle ap dhyan dena ki clutch par hath na ho handle grip par ho and clutch tabhi use kare jab zarurat hai. And specially when you breaking use engine breaking and pehle break lagao then use baad clutch press karo. Try this method once

      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว

      Brother they are unbelievable.. trust me. I had it installed in my bike specifically for Ladakh ride. It made my ride crazy unbelievable.
      Only one advice- Get the Himalayan foot peg installed on to the extender. And remove the rubber grip when you are doing off-roading. Otherwise your foot will slip while saddling.

    I personally don't recommend carbon racing wind shield
    Because of this windshield wind buffet increased multiple Times for example we can't go at 40-50 km per hour the wind buffet is too much
    I fitted carbon racing wind shield and remove after this horrible incident 🥴
    And again there handlebar mounding set up was very pathetic

Though I don’t have any connection with product but I am using it from past 1.5 half years now but with the prospec easy ride on. I cruise Like a good more than a 100kmp on highways comfortably. It works great. Also the handle bar mount setup looks complicated and little messed up but it strengthens the windshield and no vibration at all.

      Yeah brother that’s true but I am not planning for any modifications in my exhaust right now.

    Do the foot pegs hurt the shin now? Stock foot peg placement has its issues.

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว

      Brother , you have to get use to it. I haven’t got hurt till yet. Done Ladakh and few small rides with this setup. But luckily not till yet. I got a hang of it 😊

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว

      Also if you have I have replaced the footpegs with whole foot peg extender unit. So the positioning has been shifted towards front side. So quite comfortable now.

    Neeraj ji, very good video. I have the same mark 2 bike and have installed 90% of these accessories...... the only negayive experience i had was with Way 2 Speed.....very poorly engineered product....takes ur ankle away from the bike body...making it difficult to hold the tank with your knees....rest of the accessories are the same. The one other point, confirmed by the video..... RE needs to think about human factors when designing their bikes.

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, thank you so much. Glad to hear that. Yeah the thing you mentioned about way 2 speed that is there but then it is giving you that liberty to change the whole riding stance of the bike. That is plus too but I agree with your point. Yeah that is true about RE may be time and research they will be able to consider all these factors. I am glad to hear that you have installed almost everything. Kahi gaye long ride par phir. It feels so amazing after all these modifications ☺️

    bro does the easy clutch acc. harm the clutch pad? As it reduces the movement of clutch lever to make it lighter, like the clutch is not fully engaged.

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi bro the company suggested 50 % release point and at that time we are eliminating the free play on the lever end which compensates the loss of action at the engine end which leads to full engagement and disengagement

    Aesthetically its bad. Practically it's heavenly for long tourers. Sometimes you need to retain the beauty of the motorcycle as well. Kudos to you though.

    • @poetictrail200
      @poetictrail200  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True brother, aesthetically it’s not that appealing. But specially for a guy like me who is more into the long rides and who loves comfort more than looks. It’s quite a heaven yes you said it right. Every mod kind a make sense for me specially when I rode to Ladakh last year. It was a crazy experience was not expecting that these mods will make my ride that comfortable. Thanks for your views bro ❤️
