Thanks for the vid. Is your motor making enough pressure before it shuts off ? You should have a pressure gauge telling you what the pressure is coming out of the motor.
Vinegar will be the best choice I'll do that next mine had a heavy slug so I'll do this next. With some vinegar let it sit for a day or 2. I think I'll turn mine down to these things are blowing up too from no maintenance
Yeah, i hope you got a tank for our own safety bro. All those pieces that came out are pieces of the tank itself that have deteriorated. Your tank is a tiking time bomb and will explode. Those air compressors need to be drained of all moisture after evey single use, otherwise all the moisture will eat away at the tank over time causing is to explode.

i was so freaked out by those " blown up " videos that i ordered a new compressors two days later .

If you are getting out that amount of rust you need a new tank before it explodes

we do the best we can. My drain broke for years. Going to take off it today. And redo.
White vinigar would be better will dissolve the rust 👍

I have an old craftsman horizontal 25gal compressor, it has 1+1/8 in nut.
That rust Just may, explode! At pressure.
