- Silviu Ghita made the 1500 mile trip from Romania to Santa Pod Raceway just to take part in VW Action 2019!!
The DOP Motorsport Lupo is powered by not one but two 2.0 TFSI engines which produce 900hp EACH and two DQ250 DSG Gearboxes. Silviu initially struggled to get to grips with the surface but after turning the engines down to around 600hp each he managed a best of 9.22 at 161 mph. A little off his personal best of 8.7 that he's run at his home track but still very very impressive.

That's by far the slowest 1800 hp car i have ever seen. I doubt it really makes that power.

Staden Each engine individually produces 900hp, he turned it down after the first couple of passes to about 600hp each if I remember correctly

The comments on here seem rather weird. He has an ultra light weight weight custom car with dual 900 (600 after the first runs) hp engines. He purposely waits at the beginning due to the torque steer which is another reason this thing is close to undrivable

Defo need to check the alignment. That's all over the place and I'm sure he is a decent driver so it wont be him firing it across the track. Bloody dangerous looking if I'm honest.
Dean Scott I believe the issue isn’t the tracking but more to the fact the engines aren’t synced so if the front was spinning and the rear was gripping it was trying to overtake itself 😂
@@mk1kieran that would make sense I guess, but then surely it would act as a rwd and just push it. Unless its unequal rear shaft and is 'technically' torque steering from the rear and fucking it off to the side. Regardless it must be arse twitchingly scary to drive.

Way too high off the ground looks almost like a crossover so the control is horrible need to lower the car by a foot!

How do you guys get 1800hp????Adding the same engine at the back = 2 Engines that makes 900hp on the dyno with big torque.Please give me a dyno sheet of this thing on a 4wd dyno....The exit speed of this can shows me nothing close to the claimed 1800hp
