Maryland-Eastern Shore, a Division 1 school, was 0-48 in 2024. I couldn't confirm it but I could not find in history a college baseball team w more losses in a winless season. Amazingly, they did not have the worst RPI (2nd worst out of 305 schools).
@ThatC1official Yeah, at that point schools should just drop baseball. UMES is actually in the NEC for baseball and I’d argue that conference is borderline worse than SWAC top to bottom. SWAC schools aren’t great but Bethune Cookman, Jackson State, and FAMU have put together some solid teams recently. I remember BCU almost making it to the Super Regional a few years back.
@@StaySqueezy12those teams just recently joined nec though before those teams joined like Norfolk state Delaware state and umes joined the nec wasnt all bad
2:50 Dohren is basically a rare case in Germany's sports landscape. It's a baseball town and it is often said that if you're a soccer fan you're the outsider in contrast to all the baseball enthusiasts there, while in the rest of the republic, it's the other way around. Also, will Roberto Alomar's new team also be focussing on developing homegrown talent?
Thanks for the comment. I might do a video about Dohren specifically About Alomar’s team, Senadores are focused on winning. They’re in 1st place right now
@baseballinternational174 They really deliver an interesting story, I read they are manufacturing their bats themselves. Might have to do with how they started playing baseball - with potatoes for baseballs and pickets for bats. So a video about them would be awesome. Also, I read more about Alomar's revived Senadores venture and I like how he revived an old franchise but what made the RA12 team unique was how they focussed on homegrown talent. That's what's missing from Winter Leagues in my opinion, some form of amateurism or way to showcase local talent. RA12 atleast showed us some college-level talent from the US oversea territory.
You have to take European Baseball records with a box of salt. In most European countries, Baseball has about as much of a following as Team Handball has over here.
I’m well aware that baseball is not so popular in Europe but those 4 leagues are worth mentioning. A lot of players with experience in the MLB system playing in those 4 countries

I watched kiwoom throw an 8-0 lead in the 9th like it was charity

14:11 what’s hilarious is that they won the minor premiership
Both the Rockies and White Sox have one thing in common. Awful, cheap ownership. (Add A's Pirates Rays and Reds)
Rays are cheap, but they aren't awful. They almost always put out a competitive team, but when they don't they're never awful for too long.

Idk but the thumbnail has a very nice aesthetic
The player has a great body, I hope he'll thrive in the future
That must be last season, because Sydney Blue Sox sit #1 in the ABL
WhiteSox. Lol
Oh wow. First like. First comment. What have I won? Is there some sort of prize? Lol
