Just got mine today, it’s absolutely incredible. Being completely 100% honest here, within my first 30 solves, got a new pb (11.15), but it was a stupidly lucky solve, so idk how much credit I can give to the cube haha. I have an extremely aggressive turning style, and felt like I had to try to control myself with my previous main, but with this one, I feel like it does exactly what I want it to do. 10/10 I love this cube.
Sounds promising to me, I turn fast and aggressively too, I'll probably end up getting it.

My average dropped from 21-23 to 17 as soon as i got it
If you're curious, the UV coated version probably has a layer of clear epoxy applied to the outside of the pieces, which is then cured with UV light. This is probably done to improve the glossiness of the surface finish or change the tactility, similar to how a layer of epoxy or varnish applied over wood can give the wood a glossy, wet, shiny appearance and make it feel "stickier"

I have the xs and I never knew how to make the 6 different choices so even though this is the 11 m pro it helped me with the Xanax cod system. Thank you.
I recently got a GAN 356 XS, and I really love the feel of it. I 100% recommend it for speedcubers that would consider to spend a bit more on a good cube, otherwise I’d recommend the RS3M (really good, but a bit louder)

Thank you for making all these amazing videos. I started my cubing journey a year ago an watched so many tutorials, but your video was the only one I understood. Your videos have helped me so much and my record went from 2:42 to 17 seconds in just a couple of months. I’m now revising the cube and hoping for a 15 second average. I need to memorize more algorithms and get better at F2L but someday I’ll get there. I just want to say that you are amazing and I love your videos.

The Hexagonal magnets have a very slightly shorter stock that inserts into the corner, resulting in the magnets being further from the core magnets giving a more weak magnet feel. Just take one out and compare the length of the hexagonal and triangle and you can see, it's slight but its there. I've no idea if the actual magnets are the same or different though.
On this rewatch of many others, I just realise that the difference made by the core magnets can be understood if you consider the area of corner-edge magnets as the surface of a sphere and the area of the core magnets as the surface of another. Now, consider a point in the layer as yourself running on the surfaces of both and the magnets as vacuums that pull you towards them to make it easier for you to run as the surface area of the core-magnet sphere is less, the vacuums are closer and hence, attract you after traveling a comparatively less distance as compared to the corner-edge magnet sphere. And when the efforts of both are combined, the turning is as effortless as never seen in any other cube.
J perm was right gan actually didn't enough sunshine to make UV coated cubes due to lockdown and 2020 was so rough that they weren't able to make soft coated cubes

GAN 11 M PRO is super awesome according to me.... controlling is super awesome and core magnets make it super comfortable and amazing... the customisation is super compatible with the setting you want! The magnets on the corner are easy to change even though people say that GAN is taking a step backwards but I like it because I have heard in the GAN XS the magnets changed while solving so it’s not a problem in this cube and the core magnets are super nice and make the cube feel special and much different than other cubes. The GES nut are the same thing as in other GAN cubes
*OVERALL THIS CUBE IS SUPER FUN AND AWSOME TO USE AND IT HAS IMPROVED MY RESULTS AS SOON AS I GOT IT*

Don't think that more expensive = better. That's not at all true. You can get an amazing cube for over half the price. All the different settings aren't even that important if you get the right cube for you. What an expensive cube does is simply eliminate the need for you having to do actual research into what cubes you are most likely to like (because lots of configuration possible).
I'd say that around $30 or $40 is where most people should be looking if they're really into speedcubing.

As someone who paid $30 more for the Soft textured version, I can confirm that it is a great cube. I would main it over the UV coated version, but that’s just me. I’ve had it for a while now, and quite enjoy the feel, it is incredibly pleasant to hold, and the turning, as confirmed by J perm is amazing. I have a review of the soft cube on my channel btw ;)

@@Robert-ow2hh so so so much better, i dont cube as often but i do agree its a solid cube. super smooth and feels almost automated with the magents. huge upgrade copared to the rs3m which i havent touched since the gan cube, cut my average from 50 seconds to 35 seconds

I'm slow, haven't even finished learning PLL yet, but I got myself a Gan 11 as a treat. First and probably only ever flagship I'll own. I like all the core settings as loose as possible, with both magnet types as strong as possible. It's a unique feeling and very pleasant to turn.

@@simonmaassen907 learn f2l first, but if you wish you can choose to learn pll first, but I reccomend doing f2l first since it takes up to two weeks to get used to it

that is not happening because of the edge-corner magnets being strong, that's because the core moves with slice moves so the reason it goes back together is because of the core magnets attracting the corners back to the core

You cant adjust the edge - corner magnets, the three settings are for the core magnets, it changes the distance between the core and the corner base.
I have the gan 11m pro. I average 26 seconds and it is a great cube!

I had the same problem taking off center caps some months back when I got my xs, but after a while the caps have worn down a little and they pop off more easily
I think they are much easier to take off than the centers of the X and XS. Also you can just take the little screwdriver to take them off, just a tip

@EDWIN S TISON You don't need it anyways so don't worry. A RS3M with good setup (*insert Jperm's Advertisement here*) can come close to the Gan 11 performance wise. And it is much cheaper
@EDWIN S TISON Oh that's unlucky dude. It was the same for me with the MGC 2x2. I got it and shortly afterwards the Tengyun came out which is much better
Have you ever encountered a scramble where one side already had all the cross pieces correctly oriented (not all of them are correctly permutated) on a 3x3?
i main the uv coated gan 11 m pro its really good in performance as well as the coating being really good with gripping the cube
maybe to see which core magnets are stronger, you could put triangle magnets on one side and octagon magnets on the other and then turn the right and left side to see which one moves the middle layer. also, thanks 4 the great video!

mr j perm, i think you forgot to mention that that you can adjust the corner magnet by twisting it and change the distance. I think there's 3 settings but i forgot. Gan made a post about this in gan 11 m pro advertisements
I took the soft rubber Gan RS and was able to swap all the caps to a Gan X. I'm sure Gan will release it eventually, but I needed that black internals w/ soft rubber caps.

@Gurpinder Singh i already know full OLL and PLL but im in the process of changing my algs to using better ones, and im also trying to become color neutral. So im wondering if my next move after all this should be learning COLL cuz i know my fundamentals are already good (cross always under 8 moves with very few regrips and efficient f2l solutions for nearly every case)
@Gurpinder Singh yea you’re right, ima just focus on my f2l and last layer algs for now and also do color neutral solves here and there, and then move onto advanced subsets later maybe when i average around sub 15 and be able to predict first pair in inspection

Ok, not sure if you read the comments on your old videos, but thank you. I am inspired to try cubing again after a break (of 40 years). Took you advice and ordered a JPerm RS3 M 2020 and with international shipping to Tokyo, it might get to me by Christmas or New Year. Locally my store has a cube (online review said it sucked) so for basically the same price, I ordered from the US. Interested to see how the technology has changed - my best (as a 13 yo kid) I got to 32 seconds a long time ago. Chunky, hard to turn, no finger tricks, limited algs - I was pretty happy with that - normally sub 1 minute was pretty good for me.
The only thing I don't like about speedcubeshop is the shipping takes about a month for the order to come to Tokyo
@@hugoprince868 It was not the store's fault that available cargo space was severely limited. In normal times it would have been with me in two weeks. Plus, for my order, the shipping went around a three week circle at the airport - hardly the store's doing.
