I got the peacock cube for myself for Christmas 2 years ago and the green was so cool, it looked crap with traditional colors so I got tons of stickers of different colors until I came up with a color scheme similar to the traditional ones but shades that matched the green better. I feel like I'd want to do this with any of the colored cubes. It's way cooler that way.
