Great content Marcus. I’ll keep watching especially as I approach the Big 50 in a few. You train smart and I am already learning from your excellent example
Thanks Joey! It’s just 3/4” electrical tape that helps with training me visually, for the prep and warmups I do at competitions. I’ll complete the kilo set at some point too.
Yes, I have and do. I want to train in flats to nail my depth down and then compete in squat shoes. This seems to give me an advantage on meet day by making proper depth easier to achieve in heeled shoes and so far it has worked well for me. I’ll start incorporating heeled shoe’s during my peak block.
Thanks! I’ve tried a few things, including my Wagon wheels and I even have the hip thrust pad from Ab mat. It’s nice, but the swiveling feels awkward to me, so I go back to my staple…plyo box w/75lb DB behind it and just hinge my shoulder blades over top.
LOL! I got them on an early Black Friday deal w/Hundo pricing and free shipping by taking advantage of 5 for $5. Trying to practice how I play. Will complete or add to the set at next sale! 😄
Strong work!
Thanks man!
I enjoyed watching these. Thanks for the upload as usual Marcus!
My absolute pleasure Hugh and thanks for your continued support!
Just putting in that WORK!!!! love to see it. You still digging those shoes?
Thanks and absolutely still love them.
Way to go Marcus! Much better than your last max sqt session, love that steady progress. Great call on weight too, true 10 RPE. Excellent work sir.
Thanks Joe and I was happy with the target weight as well!
Super impressive. I thought u were toast after that misgrooved second. Unreal focus. Strong.
Thanks! I don’t often have balance issues with squats but it can change everything. If it happens, I reset mentally and trust the training.

Thank you, I appreciate your support and glad you can benefit from my content!
Colored edges on the Rogue Olympic plates look clean!!

Great stuff. Did you ever consider / have you used squat shoes?

Nice Squat ! What set up do you make for the hip thrust on your program ? Using the utility bench for it ?

You sneak some new plates into the gym?
