    Are you building in Mexico? What has been your experience and what advice do you have?

    A lot of AC units. Must be a hot area. Good thing Mexico offers a variety of weather.

      The area gets pretty hot during the summer months (July-September). But it’s been really nice the past month or so.

      It’s hot in the summer months. I have not had my AC on since October... probably end of May it will go on

    Hi there!! Thank you very much for sharing this clip with your friends!! That is going to be an awesome place when they finish it! It seems to be much better use of space than an US house that sprawls all over the place, and then in turn, is more expensive and takes so much more energy to control the climate. I really like their open room for the kitchen into the living space. And, as always, one of my most favorite parts of a new construction Mexican house is those roof top patios!! I am not sure I would ever leave there!! I wonder how much extra construction and engineering it would be for a small soak pool on the roof? But, they will have a great pool in their courtyard.
    Thank you for showing the construction of their house. That is pretty fascinating how they make all of that happen. My only construction skills have been making what we called Theater Construction, when we first arrived to another country and would make plywood shacks for living and work space.
    Have a great Sunday!!

    Ya let's ride on the Beach. Just like California. So it's going to be just like it.

      I have many videos of Floridians riding their ATVs on the beach in Florida. I’m sure if search TH-cam I can find the same of other states.

    No way, building codes? What special foreigner fees will the government be coming by to collect.

    • @rvseeingyou
      @rvseeingyou  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for tuning in! I appreciate your concern, but during our nearly two-year residency here, we haven't come across any special taxes for foreigners related to building codes. It's important to address misconceptions and share our own experiences.
      As for your question about building codes, it's definitely a valid one. Compliance with these codes is vital for ensuring safety and quality. We suggest hiring an independent contractor to verify and validate adherence to the codes. Being thorough in such matters is always wise.

      Hi Marathon, we covered that topic in this video th-cam.com/video/A_xZW5NZ-3k/w-d-xo.html

    • @LicensedBajaRealtor
      @LicensedBajaRealtor ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes they can. Many of us do, we just need a fideicomiso within 50km of the ocean and 100km from an international border.

    • @rvseeingyou
      @rvseeingyou  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re correct!

    Better go spend at least a year.Its not much cheaper than the United States.

    • @rvseeingyou
      @rvseeingyou  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That depends on the location. In our area, it's very expensive compared to other parts of Mexico. However, I agree that certain areas can rival the USA in terms of cost.
