    I've mentioned this a long time ago on one of your videos and I just want to see how much I appreciate what you do to give us advice. Also, I think you're stunning besides having talent in your profession. I'm Lithuanian and Polish and my son recently went to Lithuania with a cousin from Lithuania who lives in London and my mother was very beautiful as well when she was young. And your name Amber also made me remember that they brought me back an amber necklace from Lithuania. From what I understand, it's supposed to help in healing. I wish you the very best
    Who knows you could be my cousin.

    Hi Gin! Thank you for helping me get started with dermarolling at home! I started beginning of October with a 0.25mm roller. I am thoroughly enjoying it! I would love for you to recommend a great dermaroller foam cleanser/disinfectant for us loyal Canadians up here!! I have been using either rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and would prefer something less harsh but effective! Thanks again Gin! 🙏☀️

    I’ve been following you for a couple of months and have been wanting to derma roll , I’ve been a bit nervous as I see some estheticians and dermatologists recommend the Dr pen over derma rolling because they say that derma rolling causes more scarring and can be harmful. Can you help clarify this for me? ❤

    • @GinAmber
      @GinAmber  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Scarring occurs when using fake dermarollers. Unlike real dermarollers with individual needles, fake dermarollers are made of cheap metal wheels that don't penetrate the skin correctly. This improper penetration causes damage, leading to skin tears, scarring, and long-term harm. Real dermarollers with individual needles ensure precise and safe penetration that eventually leads to boost collagen and elastin production. My dermarollers have been tested by so many clients you can see before and after photos here: ginamber.com/pages/before-and-after ❤️

    Hi @GinAmber, you mention that beginners should start with 5 strokes in any direction. At what point is someone not a beginner anymore? And how many strokes is ideal in the same location when a person has been doing this a while? Is there a basic number of passes we can use as a guide?

      @@GinAmber I just finished my 6th time last night with the .25 size. Five strokes wasn't feeling like anything early on so I took it up to 7 strokes on #4 session and was fine. I actually took it to 10 for #5 and finally felt the slight sunburn feeling and a bit pink for 24 hours so that's why I'm confused on what the goal should be in terms of strokes. I took it back to 7 strokes in all directions last night (session #6) and didn't have any reaction except a slight tingling before bed. Totally normal this morning.

    • @GinAmber
      @GinAmber  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s normal to feel a sunburn-like sensation after dermarolling, as everyone's skin reacts differently. With the 0.25mm size, this sensation is quite rare, and the tiny punctures are so small that they usually don’t cause any issues. Plus, the downtime for this size is minimal, so you can get back to your routine quickly!
      You can stick to 7 times, as you mentioned, for a few more sessions and continue to monitor how your skin responds to adjust accordingly. It's great that you're being mindful of your skin's reactions. ❤️

    • @GinAmber

      Yes, only 0.25mm for the eye area. And, no, skin tears and scarring occurs only when using fake dermarollers. Hi Gin, I'm brand new at this and just did my second dermarolling tonight. Both times I did 5 strokes in all the directions with the .25, and using proper pressure, but I'm not even pink and barely feel anything afterwards. Maybe a little tingling for a few minutes but that's it. So my question is would there be any serious concerns if I went up to 7 strokes instead of 5 next time? And even 10 if 7 doesn't make much difference? I feel like I'm not getting enough of a response from my skin to actually get the results I'm hoping for. I've never had sensitive skin and I'm a blonde caucasian woman. It seems like my skin might not be getting "injured" enough to develop new collagen.

    Dear Ms Gin.
    I am a little bit worried about hair growth, on women's face
    A. case
    Often, some long or short hairs are appearing on some spots on elderly women's face (usually on the chin)
    1. Do these hairs multiply or get stronger by derma rolling on the area?
    2. Does this symptom indicate, that the rest of the face is, more sensitive to hair growth, by derma rolling?
    B. case
    I am 65 years old. When I was young I had thin hairs on the mustache area, which I had it removed
    Is mustache going to grow again, by derma rolling?
    C. case
    Can we derma rolle in cases where there is hair growth on mustache or the whole face?
    Could it be a good idea to have a video on women's face hair growth
    Thank you!

    • @GinAmber
      @GinAmber  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, Siriose! Here are my answers to your questions:
      A. 1. Dermarolling mainly stimulates collagen production and helps renew the skin. However, if you use the dermaroller on areas with fine or soft hairs, like the upper lip, the hair might appear more noticeable or feel thicker because the skin texture is improved. It is very rare for women to have noticeable hair on chin.
      A. 2. Dermarolling doesn’t usually increase hair growth on the whole face. If you’re concerned, avoid rolling over areas with more noticeable hair, like the upper lip.
      B. If you had thin hairs on your mustache area removed, dermarolling shouldn’t cause regrowth. It works on the skin’s surface to boost collagen and blood flow, not directly with the hair follicles for shorter needles. However, in rare cases, it might stimulate the regrowth of fine or dormant hairs.
      C. If you have specific area of concerns for hair growth, you can try to avoid dermarolling on said regions. Also, a video addressing dermarolling for women’s faces would be a great idea! Thank you for your suggestion. 🤗
      To know which size best fits you, I recommend taking my Free Quiz: ginamber.com/pages/dermaroller-quiz ❤️

      @GinAmber  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, Vicki! All dermarollers regardless of size are only recommended to be used no more than 10 times. As of now, the 0.25mm Mini Dermarollers do not have replacement heads and shall be replaced as a whole like a regular dermaroller. ❤️

    I accidentally left my dermaroller sitting in the tray with your disinfecting foam for multiple days because I didn't know I should drain it. Will my needles still be okay to use or do I need to buy a new roller? Thank you :)

      Hi Beauty! Yes, I used to dry it down in the protective case and that’s totally okay. Don’t forget to always disinfect it before and after use. 😊

    Hi Gin!
    43 old woman here using for the first time in my life a dermaroller.
    I guess you are the most apropiate person to ask this .
    I ' ve been dermarolling 3 times till now just once a week with the 0.25 one .
    The next day when I am applying a serum or a moisturizer with my fingers I see a loooot of like black thin things , like threads coming out of my skin . Black!
    What are those??? Noone talks about what to expect the next day.
    Is my dermaroller perhaps not a quality one?
    Those thin threads , dirt , whatever they are are just as thin and long as the device needles.
    Can you pls think of a reason?
    Are you able to send products in Germany?

    I saw another doctor saying to clean upur roller with 70% alcohol. Is that ok?
    He said in studies it was proven more effective than the 90%.
    Or is this too harsh?

    • @GinAmber
      @GinAmber  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, Megan! Alcohol can dry out your skin which is why I only recommend disinfecting both the dermaroller and the skin with my Natural Foam Cleanser. This is a safer option without any harsh ingredients. ❤️

      @GinAmber  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Beauty! 💖 You can absolutely still use a real individual needle dermaroller! Start by using it the night before your rest day to give your skin time to recover. And when you’re heading to work or going outside, don’t forget to apply and reapply Toxic Free Tinted Sunscreen to keep your skin protected and glowing at all times! 🌞

    Do you just roll or do you add even a tiny bit of pressure to the roller as you roll? I did it for the first time this week and my skin wasn't even pink. It did feel a little prickly afterwards but not much else.

      @@GinAmber I just started so I'm using the .25 size. My skin has never been sensitive to anything when others might complain so I'll make sure I'm using a light pressure like shaving.

    • @GinAmber
      @GinAmber  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Beauty! Our 0.75mm dermaroller should only be used once every 3 weeks. However, as mentioned if you’re really advance you can use it only 2x a month. ❤️

    • @EspressoAve
      @EspressoAve 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ thanks! I am, I’ve been using it for years. Can you use a 0.5 mm in between it? Like a week after the 0.75?

    • @GinAmber
      @GinAmber  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can alternate between sizes by using the 0.5mm once a week, and then on the third week, use both the 0.75mm and 0.5mm with a three-day interval between them. It is also important to monitor how your skin reacts and adjust accordingly. ❤️
