I guess if you spend your life surrounded by huge muscular guys who all think you're a dickhead it _would_ make you a bit insecure about yourself. Apparently he just decided to stop scoffing pizza while feeling sorry for himself and do something about it instead.
Let's not forget that Adam himself has had quite the glow-up; perhaps not physically, but the man is more present, more earnest, more vulnerable, and genuinely seems warmer and kinder than he was previously. Adam, you did a lot of hard work to get where you are, I for one am glad you turned things around, and yes, you have EARNED that slice of pie.

So glad to see The Natural Dustin Rhodes as the Nº1 in the list. You can tell in Dark and Dynamite he still moves ridiculously athletic and fast for a 6,5-6,6 guy and 51 years old. Great work here

The best body transformation is the Big Show. In 2006 he was Overweight and in 2020 he is faster and better in the ring.

List idea: Wrestling guilty pleasures, whether its a certain match or angle, a gimmick, or a wrestler in general. There are several ways to narrow the criteria down if you want to, but yeah a guilty pleasures list would be hilarious.

I think ita because these transformations need to happen while they are in WWE, or it happened when they returned to WWE, like Mahal and Drew.

He was with WWE when he got ripped, though. Got injured, and returned with a beard and a somehow even better physique than he did before. He's somehow even fitter now, but his return and move to _205 Live_ should not go unnoted.
Bro, Pac's transformation happened way before he was in WWE. Around 2005-6 he was well defined yet pretty slim. Cut to 2008 and he got MASSIVE. The fact that his muscles only get more ripped and angrier with time is a testament to his insane build and commitment.

-AJ Styles. At the end of his run with TNA. He started look alot bigger than he did as a short haired WWE game CAW from the mid 2000s.
-Kurt Angle. His best look was at the end of 2009. Where he looked like Jason Statham with gold medals for days.
-Samoa Joe. After years of people making fun of his weight. When he showed up in NXT for the first time. He looked like he can go for another 100 years.
-Kane. 2010 he had abs of steel that would make Superman jealous.
-Shawn Michaels. That one off appearance he had at Wrestlemania 32. He looked so good. Made us hate him more for being retired.
-Dolph Ziggler. When he was part of Spirit Squad. He was just as generic as...well the faction he was part of. But, coming back in 2008 with a whole new look. And a new body. Made many people go "give that man gold".
-Shane McMahon. Why in the hell would he cover when he has one of the best bodies most middle age men dream of?

I thought Adam was going to talk about Undertaker now. After several of looking in rough shape from all the bumps and injuries The Deadman has been looking as close to his 2006-2008 shape as possible being almost 60.
Yeah, Taker's definitely looked in great shape since 2018. The hip surgery in 2017 clearly helped a lot. His transformation from his heavier days as ABA to the much leaner, much more muscular deadman in 2004 is more impressive though. Not only did his physique improve, a lot. His work did too, immeasurably and it's not like he was terrible beforehand anyway.

Keiji Mutoh/ Great Muta body transformation from 2000-2001.
in 2000 he was still in shape but his full head of hair was noticeably thinning with a VERY visible bald spot. He left njpw in May 2000 and did a quick run in WCW. On Jan 4 2001 he returned to Njpw buffer and Bald.

I would say that this list has to include Eddie Guerrero, and the #1 has to be Adam Rose, even though his transformation came after he left WWE. Dude put on 80 lbs of muscle! That's insane.

Far be it from me to question the nigh infinite wrestling wisdom of Adam and suggest he left something out, but may I throw Matt Hardy into ring for the INSANE body transformation he went through circa 2004-2005, where he went from V1 Matt Hardy to "I will not die!" Matt Hardy. I'm convinced that's the basis of SVR 2007-2010 game models.
I usually don’t fight these lists but this time I think there’s a glaring absence on here in the form of Tommaso Ciampa. When he came back in 2018 from the ACL injury he radically changed his physique which not only made him a better athletes but also a better character, looking more like a main eventer.
A highly underappreciated one is Stevie Richards. He'd put on a bunch of weight while leading Rights to Censor (JR actually told him to lighten up or it'd cost him his job), so he dropped like 30+ pounds, got lean and has been in great shape since.
One of the most underrated body transformations in recent WWE was Tommaso Ciampa. In 2016, he wasn't exactly a body guy, he looked fine, but nothing spectacular. However, when he came back from injury in 2018, he looked terrifying. He was somehow leaner and more jacked at the same time. Just in time for the greatest run of his career.

I think Show should be higher. Dude always looked like a balloon in his WWE time then came back with ABS at almost 400 lbs. Those of us who work out a lot, you know how INCREDIBLY difficult and damn near impossible that is.
When I saw the Big Show with abs for the first time, I was kinda speechless. I don't watch WWE much but knew about his weight issues. I'm glad someone else in the comments pointed out how insane it is that he's that big, with abs.
