The issue is that wilfilm had garbage animation for like the first 3 seasons and 7th season. You forget how good the animation becomes by season 6 of the show because if u watch it in order it doesn't seem drastic. Season 8-10 was a large improvement for animation but season 11 just seemed insane for animation and they kept that up throughout wildbrain's series. The difference is the early seasons hold larger sentimental value to us and we feel nostalgic towards those fight scenes even though there were production issues(season 7 animation and season 6 having 1 new theme)
@toasted_sandwich with season 7 its not that the animation is bad overall, but is very inconsistent. This leads to cool fight scenes such as on the iron doom or in the flashbacks but also causes random spikes in quality that makes the show look clunky.

No, it didn't at all, you are comp[letely delusional in saying that season 11 was insane compared to the other seasons. Wilfilm was god damn impeccable for everything excluding DOTD and S7. It was perfect, and wildbrain had far lower quality and looked extremely cheap compared to wilfilm and it's not even hard to notice.
Sure the animation in WildBrain may be superior, but I’ve always found the WILFilm battles more memorable and engaging (certainly helped in that those episodes aren’t 11 minutes a pop). Both have their strengths and weaknesses.
Wilfilm is better at actual combat with blocking and the punches have much more impact while Wildbrain is more visually pleasing and really good with punch and slash effects the squash and stretch I still much prefer Wilfilm.

To me, the only reason why people think WilFilm sucks at fight scenes bc the graphics of 2011 to 2015 is trash and you can't blame them, 2016 is the year when things look good especially in the Oni Trilogy on where you can see much clearer but although I find WilFilm's animation stiffer as the show progresses, it's not their fault if it's garbage animation, they're just using what they have to produce a decent show back then.

I think the new one has more fluid movement and is a bit more fast-paced and flashier, which I kinda like, but the old one is good too.
