Ustad Zakirji is the son of the greatest tablachi of his time, Ustad Allah Rakha. He was given tabla training from birth, practically, as his father would recite tabla tracks to him as a baby. He has been a child prodigy and grew up to be India's foremost tabla exponent and living legend himself. He has accompanied almost every illustrious name in Indian classical music and also created a jazz fusion band (Shakti) along with John McLoughlin and two other geniuses, whose music you can check out. He is one of India's brightest jewels, tho he lives in California now.

Concentration while playing is no more applicable to Ustad Zakir Hussain. Tabla compositions just flow from him. He is not thinking at all.
