Hi,Sir hope you're doing well.I have a lower back pain from 3/4 years and this is mine MRI scan results. Could you give me some advice please. thank you Dear Mr Stanikzai, Your MRI scan shows a disc between the bones that is "proutruding" (pointing out) and is pressing on a nerve, this may explain some of your symptoms.
From a physician myself. Can’t thank you enough for this DIY decompression. Can’t believe I didn’t find this earlier. Wasted a ton of money getting devices to hang from and finding chiro’s that have the decompression table. This stretch feels like heaven on my back
@@jc4evur661 my back problems have subsided so I don’t use this anymore. After I learnt to focus on better posture when moving and lifting throughout the day, I haven’t had issues with my back. I use it every few months now if I over do it one day. Feels about the same as the decompression table tbh
That's a really effective stretch. Like he says, PLEASE make sure that knot is LARGE enough to not slip under that door.. You'll get a sling-shot wallop to the nether-lands you'll never forget
This exercise alone is pure gold. However, I did this while doing glute bridges, and it is a game changer! Also, I used a power rack instead of a door.
👏🏻👍🏻🎉 Thank You Dr., seeing this just now, is Perfect Timing, for me!!! 😉🙂 I'm doing alot of Springtime heavy yard work, & heavy lifting, & I'm almost 67 yrs. old, with 'lower Back strains' & 'Cervical Stenosis'. I felt wonderful relief, in my lower Spine, after trying this technique. 🥳🙂
Thank you for this. I spent so much money on chiro, PT, physio nothing helped. I tried this one few times now with bridging and help a lot in relieving back pain, heaviness, numbness. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I have been searching on the net, getting Mri's x-rays and still not one soul can help me with this right side back pain that is in only one spot. If I walk I have to bend a little, if I have nothing to bend over have to sit quickly, it's been over 10 years. Thanks for sharing
Yes, but you need to do treatment maybe once a week and it can get expensive since you'll need to do it long term. This exercise looks identical to what those tables do and MUCH less expensive.@@Sssssssslf
I got the yellowband today and I tried this exercise, and it seems to do a really good job. But the hardest part was actually getting into the band and getting it around my hips. Please do a video on how you do that without hurting yourself.😂
Could this potentially make a herniated disc worse? Sure, it'll give some sciatic relief, but will this kind of motion open up the tear in the annulus fibrosus even more?
I dislocated my jaw a couple of years ago and it's still not right. It's moved back a bit over 2 years to where I don't feel constant discomfort. I've done the only jaw exercises I've found on your channel, but it's not making much of a difference. I noticed pain in my jaw, only on one side, doing the trapezius exercise in the last video. My friend who is a bowen therapist said jaw misalignment can also affect reflux, which I've had since the dislocation. I'd really like to fix it.
Just bought that resistance band and did my first session! What's the longest you suggest decompressing for? I'd love to hold it as long as possible (15-20 mins) but don't want to do any furtherharm to my spine ( 2 lower lumbar herniated discs
Question - how does the pull actually work? I notice that it’s pulling the body, however my butt sees to block most of the force. Perhaps my band isn’t strong enough?
Ive had sciatica for 6 months straight, the maximum time It was gone for was a day or too, started doing this daily and I haven't had any issues in a week. Hope it's because of this
I'm thinking of adding a mechanic creeper (low profile dolly) under the lower half of the body. This way I can get the full force of the band for the decompression of the disks. What's your opinion on that?
@SpineCare Decompression and Chiropractic Center I'm will be starting a decompression treatment apparently I have some bulging disc and the reason I siactica based of the MRI
Link to pull up band: amzn.to/3PH3dRT
Excellent..super decompressive manoeuvre.

Just tried and the link that you are providing doesn't work....
Thanks
@@danielherfurth2986 I just tested it out, working on my end.
This is probably the most smartest thing I saw this week
This reply wasn’t. Also, why do you want to destroy your genitals with this? Lmmfao
If that band comes untied from that towel this dude is gonna be in a bind! 😂
I had to read this reply..
I would be more worried about your knot making skills...
Haha, great response 😂
Omg roasted and toasted by the doc
With the tension and the knot... it can't be undone.

Me too my brother..
Thank you so much for your comment. Especially coming from a physician. Merry Christmas.
Thanks for your comment!
Is this still working for you?
How often do you do this?
Do you still feel this is as good as a decompression table?

@@mranderson1635 Excellent! Thanks for the response.
I can’t wait to try this! My lower back is sore and sciatica has been bothering me for weeks!

And that is how David killed Goliath.
Funny comment! 😄

This is genius. Great lateral thinking, mate. I'll definitely try this one.
Cheers.
Hope it helps!
These are saving my sanity!!!
Thank you, this short have changed my life
Glad you found the video!
Jan, are you still using this method? How’s it working for you?
Excellent i tried this and am now slightly taller, i plan to carry on until i am at least 2 inches taller! Thanks Doc! 😇
Any more progress?
Sweet relief! Thanks Dr. Rowe!
Best one yet! More please!
Will do, and thanks for watching!
Your channel legit has helped me so much! Crazy

Best doctor god bless you 🙏
Thanks so much for watching!
Should also put a link for a cup in the description also, for us guys. Just in case 🤣🤣
This video is so helpful.💕
Glad to hear that, and thanks for watching!
Are u an angel ❤️❤️ man just ur a gem keep doing this ❤️❤️😘
Will do, and thanks for watching!
Wow, you truly are amazing, very creative & versatile tips you come up with which helps so many of us suffering with health conditions. Thank you 😊

wow love this! Will give this a try !
You must feel comfy 24/7 😅 I need to do more of these, they work 9/10 times to be fair
This is freakin Gold!!!
You're heaven sent
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Thanx so much ! 👏🤩
Thanks for watching!
Thanks. I am ordering the band tonight!
Hope it helps!
How many pounds the band resistance?
Doc,
YOU... ARE... SUPERAWESOMELY... SUPERAWESOME!
Well thanks, and thanks for watching!
I use a parallel dip bar to decompress my lower back.... Feels so relieving
Where can I find one? Thanks!
I'd recommend wearing a groin protector. If a band snaps or you knot is weak...you dont want to learn the hard way.
N there i was watching reviews on back decompression machines to buy n here i am now. Genius on a budget ❤ i love this idea.
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much, I'm trying it right now!
Thanks for watching!
Thank u for all your wonderful recommendations
This is the kind of stretch I need.
Oh this is a good one!!
Awesome 👍
Hi after doing this what exercises would you do to strengthen everything back up. Nice video.
I need to try this.
Don't forget to lock the door!
😂😂😂😂😂
Extent sir🙏
Very nice idea
God bless your sweet soul!It works!
Wow nice trick. I was using weights while hanging.
Thx for this. I no longer have room for my beloved inversion table so hopefully this will be a nice replacement.
Hope it helps!
Do inversion tables really help with back pain?
Yes, but you need to do treatment maybe once a week and it can get expensive since you'll need to do it long term.
This exercise looks identical to what those tables do and MUCH less expensive.@@Sssssssslf
I love it......
This might actually help
Do you have procedure like this for decompressing the neck?
Check out the banded traction exercise in this video: th-cam.com/video/YqnJYy8bzrQ/w-d-xo.html
Yes, I would also like to know.

1. Put the belt on before hooking up
2. Lay down and position belt for greatest effect
Can i use this method, i have l3 l4 l5 s1 disc bulge and I'm 15 years old
I need one of those
I’m trying this
Anything else I recommend? Are u in Cali? Or do u Rec anyone in Cali for lower back pain?
Good morning, can you drop the link one more time for the resistance band. The top one does not work for me
Amazing
Will this stretch lengthen the psoas and/or iliacus muscles?
Can scitica be cured fully ? Or it leads to operation?
Are you tying this around your pelvis or just placing around?
Up to how many milimetres can a single spinal disc can be stretched?
Could this potentially make a herniated disc worse? Sure, it'll give some sciatic relief, but will this kind of motion open up the tear in the annulus fibrosus even more?
Most likely to cause reflexive extension through lower and mid segments, not to mention the anterior tilt of the pelvis.
Would raising your hips either by putting your feet on the door or pushing from your heels make the stretch more intense?
Im to scared to try this one 😮
Would this work for bulging discs in the lower back?
Youre a god!
I don’t know about that 😂
Thank you! Is there a way to use this method with the cx?💓💪😎
Good
Ah, clever!
Hi Ann how are you doing 😊
Where’s the link for the band
Do you do it multiple time or just once.
Once, but keep it stretched for at least 5 minutes. It'll probably take multiple times to get relief. I would do this at least once a week.
Where’s the link for the band?
Will this work if you have sciatica on both sides of the spine .l3-4-5

A heavy-duty band is on the list of needed equipment.
Does this help with anterior pelvis tilt?
How I relief back pain that from the bottom to top of my neck?
How many pounds this band ?
Can you do this with spondy??
Where are you located I've had shoulder pain for years still young
I don't feel much happening. I have spondylolisthesis and I usually hang from things to decompress my back. Maybe I am using the wrong band.
Maybe go back farther.
Also you can use your hands to push against your things/hips. Seems to make it a bit more of a stretch for me
Hold the stretch for several minutes, do so 3x's a week. After awhile it will decompress...just not in one stretch.
Hey! I also have Spondylolisthesis. Did this stretch help you get better? Please let me know. I'll be ever thankful.
Dr Rowe, will this help with my two compressed vertebre, L1 & 2?
Top!
RIP any guy who didn't tie a large enough knot haha
Are weighted pull ups and chin ups attached to your hips bad for bulge or herniated discs?
Just bought that resistance band and did my first session! What's the longest you suggest decompressing for? I'd love to hold it as long as possible (15-20 mins) but don't want to do any furtherharm to my spine ( 2 lower lumbar herniated discs
I was on a decompression table for 15 min. at a time...just be careful not to over stretch.
Wish I’d known this before I spent $140 on that fisher band thing . Lol it’ll have to do for now I hope it fixes my bulging disk
Question - how does the pull actually work? I notice that it’s pulling the body, however my butt sees to block most of the force. Perhaps my band isn’t strong enough?
I believe that if you elevate your legs that shouldn’t be a problem .
Anyone else reminded of when Bart Simpson had his cat and dog pull him to stretch him taller?
Ive had sciatica for 6 months straight, the maximum time It was gone for was a day or too, started doing this daily and I haven't had any issues in a week. Hope it's because of this
Cannot find the last no fit rubber band , not working
that towels gonna slip out and youll scream lol
I am gonna try this pray for the jewels 😅
Make sure to tell the kids "NOT" to open the door while you're doing this😖😭
Someone please open the door, lol 😂
I'm thinking of adding a mechanic creeper (low profile dolly) under the lower half of the body. This way I can get the full force of the band for the decompression of the disks. What's your opinion on that?
You better hope your roommate don’t open that door… you won’t be having no kids🥲
Well, if the door is opened, it will lessen the band’s resistance and the door will shield you from the knot… so…
Helps with siactica?
It may!
@SpineCare Decompression and Chiropractic Center I'm will be starting a decompression treatment apparently I have some bulging disc and the reason I siactica based of the MRI
I am having a problem with the band not wanting to stay on my hips and slides down. Any suggestions?
Note how he has the band between his legs?
