Birding in Ghana, September 2023

Birding in Ghana, we explore Kakum National Park, Ankasa Reserve, and "Picathartes Village" near Kumasi, in September 2023.
Organised by Ashanti African Tours ashantiafrican..., our guide Philip showed us 207 species in 7 days, of which 107 were lifers. Unfortunately many of them were hard or impossible to photograph in the dense forest.
We can't always get photos of every species - our style is "birding with a camera" rather than dedicated photography. We try to show our favourite photos - sometimes a good photo of a common bird, sometimes a good bird even if the photo isn't so great.
