As a OTR driver truck a lot of showers ARE NOT cleaned after each person. They just take out the used towels and replaced them with cleaned ones. We use lysol spray before we take a shower.
My husband and I have stopped at many showers where there is a guy present and cleaning them. They have all been very nice. Maybe we know how to pick them! Anyway, my shower tote has simple waterproof sandals in it and I never ever step on their floors even in hotels. I shower with my sandals on and remove only after I can stand on the towel to dry and dress. We both go into one shower for one price and take turns. Works great for us about every 3 days. We're on the move and only park somewhere in the boonies to sleep until dawn and move on.

Robin is the first TH-camr I followed. I’ve wanted to travel in a RV van as a single women. But then I adopted 2 children when I was 58 and 60. So now I to travel with them and our two dogs. Going to leave the 4 cats at home. I’m from the western suburbs of Chicago.
Dear Barbara, I’m doing the same thing with my Avia trailer. Got it last July and want to hitch a large SUV to it. I’ve been living in a rental house now after selling my house. I’m having to cull & sell so much “stuff.” I’m a NY’er also & obsessed with making the most of the small space I have. I have to have a mobile RV tech come to teach me everything & install some things. We had a big rain yesterday $ all the hanging gadgets on the wall came down, hung with alien tape. So I’m back to problem solving that one. Humidity! Activated Charcoal bags on the way. You have sparked the enthusiasm I need right now as I’ve been feeling so guilty and depressed about not moving quickly enough! Thanks much 🤦♀️
Yay, Barb. A star is born. Loved the idea for a little van almost as small as mine. I always laugh when someone in a 5th Wheel tells me about “space saving”. Barbs ideas will work in my 19’ van.
Barbara's van is lovely and the interior is cosy. Your cat is gorgeous Barbara. I’m visiting Embassy factory in Indiana next week to view their vans in factory. Renting a C to drive out east coast to visit cousins with my kids and 2 dogs. Few stops along the way.
This is the Travato G model which has a nice floor plan, older models had the puzzle bed where you could rearrange the cushion and sleep a couple small children behind the driver's seat. Some people liked it but I think Winnebago discontinued on newer models. The K model has the 2 long bench seats running to the back. Toilet and shower in back.

You can take off all the Winnebago badges and lettering but, we can all still tell it's a camper van. I think it's funny that people think they are less visible by removing the lettering.
my concern is that by modifying too much for my tastes will diminish the retail value. It's just a box that rolls and i live in. I will have another box that rolls i live in. Robin, My Love, how much "tweak" is TOO much - in your impression?
I think I missed some details. I looked at one of those and didn't see it working for full time. Of course, I've modified a lot in my Pleasureway, even though it was well built!

Showers are too expensive. I've seen women going into these showers with the truck drivers.
We bleach the showers even at a hotel before we use them

I agree! My B is a hotel and restaurant on wheels. I am not camping. Not that I won’t stay at a campground from time to time but it’s not the goal.
