Good Bye KARR

The end of another episode in the lifetime of my Knight Rider vehicle. It lasted 7 months of becoming the Knight Automated Roving Robot, KARR. If you prefer. I describe how to remove the dip paint not an easy task but possible. Just like the TV show this KARR had a dramatical ending, watch, share and enjoy.

Full black KARR is much better with the orange scanner.

I never liked the silver and black KARR. Full black with the amber and yellow scanner was the best form.

@@JOKER49022 yes,i'ts true,both cars in Knight rider 1982-1986,have red scanners and plates KNIGHT in episode 9 of season 1. Only voice modulators was different. KITT dash color was black,KARR dash was same,only in this episode was dark grey,where KARR talking.

The difference between the two cars is that KARR had a much darker scarier scanner sound in the first series. Episode: Trust Doesn't Rust

Personally I like the basic black Karr better than the black and white version.

I have two scanners. A red one and amber one. I have made the plug for both to be the same so I can switch them any time I want. ;-)

not sure exactly but about $10K and I have being frugal with my expenses. You just have to be careful in the project. Some admit have spend 2 or 3 times what I have spend but is because perhaps are very technical or rather pay someone to do the job. I know my limits and only would pay whenever I cant work in it. KITT is a never ending investment. I have more plans for upgrades in the future.

actually after watching the video once again. It is ok . It is flush to the bumper and fits exactly at the scanner opening. You would need to see it up close to tell the difference. Thanks for your comments anyways.
