Clowns and puppets are no match for John Wick: Parabellum action figures I guess. I wouldn't mind seeing a return to trippy puppets again though. They remind me of the old troll mascots at the pre-Six Flags Magic Mountain, and my simple childhood.

Willard Scott’s original Ronald, with the box on his head, was more of a scary design than later Ronalds. The same with the Hamburgular who was also hideously scary to me as a kid. I’m not sure what McDonald’s was thinking? Whoever signed off on those designs didn’t have kids or just hated kids. I’m surprised they stayed with the whole clown theme?

I still hav the McDonald playland set from 70's w box that we received one Christmas plus all the figures
It’s funny, these types of advertising have stopped…yet childhood obesity continues to grow.
The fact that the children who grew up on these commercials are now parents probably has something to do with it.
If you never got to experience the plaster cast tree interiors of the 70’s and 80’s McDonald’s I truly feel for you.
