through out every movie i have ever seen, the realest character was Anakin. because all he wanted was to save the only person in the world that still loved him.
The prequel’s were so great because the story was epic. Trying to save the woman he loved. He came obsessed with trying to save her. Through desperation. He became evil. With a promise of saving her. He let Palpatine brain washed him against the Jedi. In his obsession he killed himself, padme, and the Jedi order. The obsession turned him dark and cold. Being told not to express his feelings turned him psychopathic. To where his morality and his sense of humanity was lost. It’s so interesting how deep his character arc is. How subtly he goes from being a Jedi to a sith. If you watch all the prequels in one sitting. The change is so gradual. However, that’s real life. No doubt his childhood, relationships, and how he lived his life lead to that. It only took a negative father figure then a ton of emotion. He went completely evil and twisted. If you don’t know, that’s how a dictator comes into power. The prequel is so political. Fantastic movies

Padme still had faith in him even her last words were “there’s still good in him, I know it” and it’s that exact phrase Vader heard on Naboo that out a conflict within him that led to his son helping him redeeming his biggest mistake and continuing to right the wrongs he wrought as a force ghost
I feel bad for Anakin... he didn't deserve it. Padmé didn't even get to deal with the fact that Anakin had turned to the dark side since she died just soon after...
