Yes, they are resin. But I think that adds to the “handmade touch”. For metal models, you should go to other brands. I’m also considering a Minichamps or some other brand, but I can’t make up my mind! That Ferrari is awesome! Show pics when you get it!
Absolutely gorgeous model congratulations!! I’ve been thinking of getting that same car of the Monaco GP in 2019 but a Minichamps version.. because im really struggling to find why Amalgam makes it cost 800€ more, maybe because of how well packaged it is? And i was a bit surprised it didn’t have a driver when most models do. Because other than that i cant understand why is it so valuable compaired to brands like Minichamps and Spark.
Hi, thanks for your comment. I know! It’s a lot of money but in my case, this was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. It was quite special and emotional for me. The thing about these models is that they’re handmade so I still think it’s worth it but I’m sure you’ll enjoy your Minichamps version. Show some pics, will you? 😍
Yeah, I know what you mean. I’ve had that debate with myself so many times… Now when I build a 1/20 F1 car, I always make sure that I can get the driver too. But this one came like this and I tell you it’s so well done that I don’t mind not having the driver. But what would you do? Would you try and find a driver that fits this model and add it…? 🤔 Thanks for watching! 😘
