I BOUGHT ANOTHER "SENNA" for My New Garage!

- My new garage is coming soon and for the centre piece I have something very special in the works! Let's hop on board the AMG G63 for a long drive towards Amalgam Collection to see the most fantastic model of the Shmeemobile McLaren Senna I could dream of having in the mancave!
Setting off from London in the G, the perfect winter daily driver, the first stop on the route is a visit to Topaz Bristol; the sister unit of Topaz Detailing in London with a number of very nice cars including a stunning Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster and a new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4. From there it is onwards towards Amalgam to have an exclusive and special look at the workshop where the most bespoke of their models are created.
Amalgam have long established their reputation for creating the finest model cars and if you have followed my channel for a while you will know how keen I am on these things. In particular they create 1:8 scale bespoke models that are replicas of the full specification directly in partnership with the manufacturer. In this case I have of course opted to order and buy my first Amalgam model as a direct replica of my McLaren Senna in MSO Cerulean Blue. During this visit I have the opportunity to see what goes into creating a model such as this, from the original primer parts kit consisting of over 1,000 pieces, through to the break down of parts that will eventually assemble to become my completed model.
You can be sure that this Amalgam model will sit pride of place in my new garage unit when the time comes to secure a location! The level of detail and accuracy in the model is absolutely top level, and you can find out more here:

Who out of you guys has a collection of model cars? I'm super excited to add my first 1:8 scal Amalgam Collection model to mine that will be proudly displayed in the new garage, and what better than to make a bespoke Senna to match my real one.

That's a model car collectors dream! I have multiple 1/18 Lamborghini models on my desk so that I can see them every day.. Currently I have an Aventador, Veneno, Huracan Performante, Asterion and the Sesto Elemento! Can't wait until you buy a Lamborghini ;)

I have vivid memories of the first model I ever built, a black Lamborghini Miura. But that was a very expensive hobby, and we were kinda poor, so sadly I couldn't build any sort of collection. Lord how I loved that Miura!

as a youth we enjoyed Model clubs for Plastics -Seeing die-cast trains and cars displayed always captured that youthful gleam. To see the Great detail and level of care done by The Amalgam Collection Ltd. is worthy of praise. One would have to find an RC version and underwriter to protect insurance on them
Ayrton senna was a great pilot and man, he deservs his name on awsome cars like this

I guess many of the parts for the model are 3D printed to get the scale exactly right. V impressive to see the number of parts that go into making a 1:8 scale model. All those parts reminds me of how a mechanical watch might be assembled. Proper craftsmanship.
WoW amazing, those cars Amalgam makes are amazing, but at $12-15k per 1:8 scale model it really is something that you must love to be able to afford that much on a model. Congratulation on the cars
I am rally looking forward to this video and ever since I started watching this channel, my dream was also to own my own car man cave and for you that dream is obviously just round the corner but for me hopefully in a few years! 😁

I collect trainers/sneakers and would love nothing more than to have a room dedicated to my collection and displaying what I've worked for and all of the small "add-ons" I've gathered throughout the years. I don't think there's another car TH-camr out there that shows as much passion as you do, if there is, they don't show it. Cheers.

18 m.p.g. with all of the traffic involved is pretty darnn good to me. I’m sure if it was on the motorway at posted speeds with no traffic you could probably get in the mid to high 20’s m.p.g. Those Amalgam models are amazing. It’s like getting a bespoke watch made, beautiful craftsmanship.👍👍
WOW These models are insane! The carbon fiber weave even matches the real thing. Take for instance the line on the rear wing where the 2 weaves get together. Just AMAZING!

I love this. The level of detail is beyond belief and jewel-like. I used to spend all my allowance when little on models, and can relate 100%.
Hi Shmee I loved the visit Amalgam in my vast model car collection over 45 years I have never got up to 1/8 only to 1/12 as they have already taken up half the house so I now have gone down to 1/64 they’re incredible for detail and size ,Cheers

The attention to detail on those models is insane, I genuinely can't imagine how much time it takes for them to do something like that Testarossa model.

I am amazed how much detail is going into the miniature model of your real life McLaren Senna! If I am ever in the UK I would love to go here! Because I am a huge car collector, and I probably have close to 4000 hot wheels in my room as we speak, including to McLaren Senna as well since hot wheels started making them this year.

I would like to see this company expand to include plastic, or metal, model kits for the DIY collector who enjoys building kits. They could also expand into RC kit cars which for me would be the ultimate kit car. I realise building an RC based car would eliminate some of the authenticity, but would still be fun.

You should get your broken Senna parts back from McLaren, and have Amalgam make replicas of those as well. Just imagine displaying Senna with those damaged side pieces hanging on the wall, and Senna model with broken parts models hanging somewhere. Pretty funny vision for me :')

Oh I love these little cars 😵 I want them all. The Miura is so cool cool. They look like the real big brothers. My burago Countach and EB110 are still in my living room. The best one is the DTM Cliff Calibra made by Minichamps in 1:18
