    Your rite, your not any kind of a teacher, you're more of a analytic professor of fabracation extraordinaire!! 👍🏁 Untill you tackle jobs like this, your planning, measuring, multiple prefitting , is all part of a well done project👍, I was 28 yrs I'm the body paint & frame, 20 yrs ago, I'm getting ready to do exactly what your showing in video, I'm looking hopefully to driving my '52 1/2 t Jimmy, slammed down, s/10, no paint except inside cab & engine compartment, auto

    wow Rick beautiful job considering what you had to work with. I can see you have welded up rusted out bodies before. Really do appreciate you taking the time to video what you were doing step by step. Yeah I know aftermarket panels aren't perfect by any means but at least its a helluva lot more solid than what you have to work with. Great job fitting them back in. You do very consciencious work on everything you rebuild. This was another example of giving the customer 120% perfect job.
    always love your work. Thanks for sharing

    I just subscribed about a month ago and I'm looking at old videos. It looks like you saved one from the crusher that looks like the best way to do it to me. Don't worry about the camera angles I still enjoy your videos or your education I think I wasted the last four years of school my kids would say the same thing about me. My daughter ask if I even went to school. Have a great day I've got a trunk pan to replace.

    Nice looking work. I'm sure you would love to lay the door up there to check all the various planes. Even with the correct dimensions, sometimes the lines or planes don't match. The braces don't allow trial fitting the door and you would really be USC without the braces. What condition are the doors in with this much rust everywhere else??
    Love all those gauge clusters on your shelf. ;o)

    • @OldTimeGarage
      @OldTimeGarage  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Pappa Bob Hi Pappa Bob, we are hanging the doors as I type this! We'll do another vid soon with the door on. They weren't quite as bad as the rest of the cab.

    How do you keep the body square. I know about putting the braces in, but are there any measurements I need to know. Thank you so much for your help on my project.

    • @OldTimeGarage
      @OldTimeGarage  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Take measurements on the door openings front and back and top to bottom. If those stay square the rest of the cab should too.
