Yep. I totally agree. It´s the thing that make the film work. There are very few films that actors have real, true chemistry between them. And this is one of them. With different actors the movie would have been total flop. I will always love this movie...
Absolutely. Fun fact: Julia saw their chemistry before any of us and when Richard wasn't sure about accepting the role, Julia got after him and made sure he would accept. Because she knew he was the guy for the part and no one else. They have those 'once in a lifetime' kind of chemistry.

Alton, that scene if memory serves also included a look of pride on Hector Elizondo's face. He was sort of her mentor on how to behave.
Alton Wong That red dress! After this movie came out my mom had a grand opening black tie affair she was to attend, as she was one of the reasons for the event to be able to take place. She went up and down the Southern CA coast looking for a red Pretty Woman dress. Yes she did find one, bought it & was absolutely stunning. I have a picture of her in that dress during that event in my living room, as I type this 😁😍

My favorite scene was when the concierge had the necklace in his hand and said, "It must be tough to lose something that beautiful". But, he was referring to Julia and not the necklace.
I watched Pretty Woman 4 or 5 times. I watched it again last night May 24 2024 on Netflix. For me, this is the Hollywood film that I like the most. they are a couple who have perfect chemistry.❤

Love Julia Roberts. 20 years ago I used to joke that my favorite movie was “anything with Julia Roberts in it.” Today I still love those movies and LOVE how Julia grew and became a real person…. Hector Elizondo is one of my favorite actors. He completely made the scenes with Julia Roberts memorable. Laura San Giacomo was perfect in this. This should have been an interview with all 5, not just the two stars.

Matt Lauer is the worst interviewer ever. He completely ignored Hector who is an icon in his own right and Laura. They sat there in awkward silence. It was as simple s Matt addressing a question to each one of them to make them feel a part of the reunion.

I have to concur. There are other interviewers who are no better and many are worse. Alex Jones is the worst example of not allowing his guest speak, and continually interrupting them so causing them sometimes to lose their 'Train of thought' .. It seems top me that the Jones boy does this deliberately to put a stop to what is being said.

I accidentally watched this movie 2 years back in Sri Lanka on a movie channel. Its great efforts put together and a remarkable film. Specially Julia Roberts and the hotel Manager's and the lawyers role players player happens to be the links to every scene. Great movie.....
