You must be able to read minds. A couple of weeks ago, I was at a meeting where ginger cake was served. It tasted so good -- I hadn't eaten ginger cake since childhood -- that I wished I could have gotten the recipe. But then you post this video. Thank you !

Hi Bonita, I made this cake Thursday night for company on Good Friday! The batter made a Bundt pan and a small loaf pan. I frosted the small loaf and left the Bundt cake plain, with cool whip on the side. it was a big hit by all of us!! Really moist and delicious (it baked for 40 minutes in my oven - all ovens are different) Thank you for the recipe and thank you and Raymond for your channel! Happy Easter

Hi Bonita. I love molasses and ginger. This looks so fabulous. I bet it smelled amazing. Your video popped up late last night here I was plugging in my phone for the night and saw it pop up. Today hubby and I we doing chores getting ready for Christmas. lol Raymond says don’t scrape the bowl too clean lol. I love you Bundt pan. I would love that frosting too wow. That’s great how you used the jam to give the frosting a nice colour. I could arm wrestle Raymond for that and after I lost the arm wrestling match I would grab the cake and run lol. Ginger is almost a lost flavor...unless it some sort of Asian food. Here in the west it is considered almost an old fashioned spice. This cake looks absolutely delicious, which I'm sure it is. I wish I could smell it ...I think I will make this...thanks Bonita :)

It don't stand out totally in this recipe but you can taste it. I love it in my ginger snap cookies and they are spicy. But if you add a lot of powerful ingredients you will loose the taste of ginger. I hope you get to make it sometime. :) Enjoy Bonita
