  • Join us as we embark on a nostalgic journey returning to Universal Studios Orlando after many years away. We get the opportunity relive memories and make new ones as we visit some of our favorite attractions and discover new experiences - especially the Jurassic World Velocicoaster.
One of the focuses of the day was Ed's experience navigating the park with his new cognitive challenges. Despite these challenges, Ed was determined to make the most of his time at Universal Studios and was able to utilize the disability accommodations provided by the park. With the help of these accommodations, he was able to fully participate in all of the attractions and experiences, creating new memories and making the most of his time at the park. And for those of us who know Ed so well, that did NOT include the Velocicoaster! Haha.
Throughout our day, we share our excitement and joy with all of you, showcasing the endless possibilities and adventures that await at Universal Studios Orlando. Whether you are a longtime fan or a newcomer, this video is a testament to the power of imagination and the magic of this beloved theme park, and their strive to accommodate everyone!

Thanks for joining us! We are Jason and Ed, and we are The Traveling Husbands! We are huge Disney fans and recently relocated back to New England after a year in the Valley of the Sun and the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Before Hawaii, we lived in the center of the magic that Orlando, FL has to offer from Disney, to Universal Studios and beyond! Living in the Southwest, we frequently visit Disneyland in California and a variety of destinations from Los Angeles to San Diego. For our honeymoon, we even got to spend a week at the Tokyo Disney Resort. WOW was it amazing! We stayed at 3 out of the 4 hotels on property, including the Hotel Miracosta, where our room was actually inside of DisneySea... we got to watch Fantasmic from our hotel room! And that was simply the beginning to our adventures around Japan.
In addition to Disney trips, we have spent time in Europe. Ed studied for a month in central Paris and both of us spent a month researching and sightseeing in a small village in Southwest Germany. We have also been to London, Zurich, Alsace, and Barcelona.
The Hawaiian Islands, especially the Kona district of the Big Island hold a special place in our hearts. And it isn’t only because that's where we got married! We both grew up in the Northeast and took many family trips throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic states, and up to Canada.
Together, we recently (and again) lived in Phoenix, Arizona, which gave us opportunities to explore the west coast, including many trips to Southern California.
We hope you will join us on all of our adventures - near and far - on all of our social media platforms.

Lovely to see you back in Orlando. Thank you for the information about the larger lockers for medical bags. Always learning something new. BTW don't do roller coasters either. Just watching that one raises my anxiety. Hugs.
