Agreed! We used so many of Krystal palace channel tips and tricks for our trip in July. Made it so easy and knew what to do and where to go. Definitely a great channel!
Get Express pass by staying at a premiere hotel even if it's for one day. That helps a lot. And if you have a Reusable cup use or otherwise get one and get the refills because that pays for itself.
I work at Universal and have a tip for the future: be comfortable doing mobile ordering and not just do cash because all restaurants are converting over to mobile order only, the test location is Blondies, so don’t be a dick about not being able to eat just because you don’t want to use the app. Also Epic is going to be app heavy so don’t delete the app while on vacation.
We read the food credit that universal is giving in the current vacation package can’t be used in mobile order? We always mobile order when at WDW but coming to universal for the 1st time as the fine print says the food n drink credit can’t be used to mobile order?
Hi Krystal if you buy the refillable cup and activate it during the day in one of the parks can you still use it on the night in HHN without paying again?
Unless it’s winter expect rain everyday. I keep extra socks I hate wet socks yuck. A rain poncho is a good idea. Keep a sweatshirt for the cold shops and restaurants basically layers and extras sucks to carry all that in the park bag but we’re always glad we did.
* unlike WDW, water bottles have to be empty, when you go in. * avoid leaving the park during sustained, torrential downpours. take a meal at one of the restaurants in citywalk, and chill until the storm is over. watch all the folks streaming out. go back in to very low crowds. my best trip to UO, ever, was one of those days. the rain delay was two plus hours. the restaurant was cool with us hanging out until the storm was over. we walked back in, and had several more hours of low crowds + low wait.
I bring full water bottles through security at Universal all the time with no issue. The only time they require water bottles to be empty is evenings when they have Halloween Horror Nights to make sure people don't try to sneak in alcohol.
Stay away from fast and furious. Also if it’s blistering hot like June July and August usually are. Go watch the horror make up show or bourn stunt show. Good way to get in some killer air and off your feet for about 25 35 minutes and both have comfort seats
Another tip - I learned this from experience- if you don’t have a paper ticket and your ticket is on your phone, don’t put your phone in the ride lockers! You need a ticket to open the locker. The good news if you do this by mistake, a team member can open it for you as long as you remember which locker it was. 😂
Folks need to understand that it's a marathon and not a sprint...like you said it's important to have a plan even if it changes the second you walk into the park.
