We bought a new D-MAX in February 2021. It's a good truck BUT the electronic safety features are a pain in the butt. This particularly true of the lane assist. It's dangerous because if you need to avoid something on the road, the D-MAX fights you all the way. The problem is that Isuzu set these features to always be ON as the default when you start the car. You can turn them OFF manually, but you have to do this every time the car is started. There is no facility to set them OFF as the default and then turn them ON manually if you wish. I would not have bought the vehicle if I knew about this feature. Isuzu should come out with a software upgrade that allows the owner to determine which features should be ON and which should be OFF when the vehicle is started - and then manually changed if the driver wishes. AND anytime we put shopping or luggage on the back seat the bloody seat belt alarm goes off. It's infuriating. Until Isuzu comes out with a software upgrade I can't recommend this vehicle.

This just shows how well the Ranger has aged. That guy was released back in 2016 with little updates only and still on par or even beats this Isuzu. Still nice to see the competition for the betterment of the consumer.

5:12 it looks similar to the Jimny! Cool stuff. Isuzu did great with the new D-Max. Not revolutionary in its segment, but definitely a massive improvement over the old one.
Great review on the car and mostly was anticipated on one hand if only XTERRAIN was introduced the features would blow up literally. Worth the wait and its a beauty.
