Islam is an all encompassing religion. Becoming Muslim under Islam also mean taking on the Islamic culture (Arab culture) and knowing some bits of Arabic to recite verses in the Quran and following the routines of life stated also in there and other religious documents of the faith. Asking Muslims to separate church and state is the equivalent of not letting them practice their religion fully.

A country with no core identity in the future is doomed to fail, at least my opinion (and history has showed time and time again) sure times has changed, we are in the modern world, but some "Imported" people arent from the "modern world". Sometimes idiologies are too diferent. And i have been to Canada, i have Canadian family, i know what i am talking about, i even said "except thanks giving tell me one Canadian tradition a Canadian one" they had no idea. So Canada is a country of imigration, i get it, but like all experiments it can fail, because this is a very new experiment. Like i said, i have "Canadian" family, even sunday was talking to them. They adapted to Canadian society, but "being Canadian for them just means having a passport, thats mostly it. Then they talk about some problems about some communities (which arent that big of a deal) with each other, but exists. Like this man said "Canada doesnt have a core culture". Well, all countries or cultures needs identity, and one day, this soon may clash. But hey good luck Canada, you have great country, but when i went there myself, the "problem" i saw is, i didnt feel it, i didnt feel the culture or anything, there was no culture, even America despite also being a country of immigrants have their identity more. The only region that has a deep culture is Quebec, and they clash alot with the rest of Canada, and with the great influx of migrants im sure it will get worse. I am for immigration, but only if the process is done right and well vetted to be allowed to immigrate to Canada. As someone working in the trucking industry, this once cherished industry has been absolutely ravaged and destroyed by mass immigration. Just look at the quality of different trucks from yesteryear to today, they come here and slash truck rates to absolute rock bottom to undercut the competition, they cant even afford to keep up the maintenance on their trucks. I see stories on a daily basis of an immigrant killing innocent canadians and fleeing the country to avoid prosecution, in fact this is so close to home this has happened to a friend of mine. An immigrant killed Kate Lindsey in Cambridge ON in a head on crash as a result of the immigrant passing on a double yellow going up a hill, neither party had no time to react as the crested the hill. After being found guilty in court, the judge neglected to seize the guilty party's passport, the guilty party has fled the country the day after court. Government individuals are still looking for this lady in her home country. In the trucking industry, there are fake truck driving schools popping up everywhere and they themselves are racist, they will help and "train" others of the same nationality, but wont offer their services to canadians. this is made worse that to pass a truck driving license, they are not required to speak or read english and are allowed to take the test in their native tongue. just imagine, if they cant read or speak basic english, they are driving 80,000lb trucks and cant read our road signs...and this is happening to every industry here. If immigration was held to a much higher standard to reside or work in Canada, we would be much better off.

He's had a rough time since the start of the last election. During thst campagn, things got so bad, he was wearing kevlar everywhere he went. I was horrified for his safety & the trauma he was obviously dealing with to the point where I was agraid to vote for him again, in effect, keeping him in the spotlight. During this campaign, very personal things that have nothing to do with politics wete brouvh up causing what we suspect is a serious rift between Justin & his wife, Sophie as neither were wearing their wedding bands. Then came a fire that put Justins mom, Margaret in the hospital, right before this covid nightmare. Early in this pandemic, Sophie caught covid & that must have been really frightning for Justin & their kids. So now he has to deal with the mess this pandemic has made of the economy & to keep people alive & housed with no income since February. I noticed even as far back as last November that he looked completely exhausted & just emotionally done. I like Justin & I worry about his emotional well being..In my heart, I hope he decides to bow out next election & tries to fix the damage all this has done.

The only muslims who have problems with other religions are the extremists, they are hardly religious themselves since they miss the entire part of the Quran that says to be kind to others, dont judge others, make sure your neighbour has food to eat (in terms of poverty) before you sit down for dinner, RELIGION IS A CHOICE and should NOT be forced etc. I apologize on behalf of those extremists however please understand they are a minority and they are just as much an enemy to muslims as they are to anyone else (plus every religion always has that one group of stupid idiots). This is no longer an issue of Canadian vs other, or Christians vs Muslims. No. This is an issue of humanity vs extremism. I will fight alongside Canadians, as we as my people from my country, AGAINST extremists, no matter which religion they belong to. When I say "fight" I am not referring to violence, I am referring to discussions, debates, teaching and learning, sharing the true values and morals of my community so to spread what Islam really is, so that we can distinguish between religion and extremism (personally, I don't see them as the same thing), and understand that religion should not be an issue for living amongst people, but instead extremism has to be stopped. I do not wish to "force" my constitutions on Canadians. My family and I are the ones adapting to Canadian culture, however in order lessen the misunderstanding and accusations of ACTUAL Muslims, then yes I would like to spread its meaning. @@nimsalp8530 I am not certain. I am Persian, both my parents had international degrees however when we came to Canada, my father got a 2nd phD and my mother had to repeat medical school. It was not easy, they were both mature students, over qualified and in a competitive field. Best bet is to aim for universities that accept these students. My dad went to Western Ontario and my mom went to McMaster.

Islam is an all encompassing religion. Becoming Muslim under Islam also mean taking on the Islamic culture (Arab culture) and knowing some bits of Arabic to recite verses in the Quran and following the routines of life stated also in there and other religious documents of the faith. Asking Muslims to separate church and state is the equivalent of not letting them practice their religion fully.

A country with no core identity in the future is doomed to fail, at least my opinion (and history has showed time and time again) sure times has changed, we are in the modern world, but some "Imported" people arent from the "modern world". Sometimes idiologies are too diferent. And i have been to Canada, i have Canadian family, i know what i am talking about, i even said "except thanks giving tell me one Canadian tradition a Canadian one" they had no idea. So Canada is a country of imigration, i get it, but like all experiments it can fail, because this is a very new experiment. Like i said, i have "Canadian" family, even sunday was talking to them. They adapted to Canadian society, but "being Canadian for them just means having a passport, thats mostly it. Then they talk about some problems about some communities (which arent that big of a deal) with each other, but exists.
Like this man said "Canada doesnt have a core culture". Well, all countries or cultures needs identity, and one day, this soon may clash. But hey good luck Canada, you have great country, but when i went there myself, the "problem" i saw is, i didnt feel it, i didnt feel the culture or anything, there was no culture, even America despite also being a country of immigrants have their identity more. The only region that has a deep culture is Quebec, and they clash alot with the rest of Canada, and with the great influx of migrants im sure it will get worse. There is even some debate why French should have its positition so high when we have so many migrants from other countries? Those are the problems and clashes migration starts. I am for immigration, but only if the process is done right and well vetted to be allowed to immigrate to Canada. As someone working in the trucking industry, this once cherished industry has been absolutely ravaged and destroyed by mass immigration. Just look at the quality of different trucks from yesteryear to today, they come here and slash truck rates to absolute rock bottom to undercut the competition, they cant even afford to keep up the maintenance on their trucks. I see stories on a daily basis of an immigrant killing innocent canadians and fleeing the country to avoid prosecution, in fact this is so close to home this has happened to a friend of mine. An immigrant killed Kate Lindsey in Cambridge ON in a head on crash as a result of the immigrant passing on a double yellow going up a hill, neither party had no time to react as the crested the hill. After being found guilty in court, the judge neglected to seize the guilty party's passport, the guilty party has fled the country the day after court. Government individuals are still looking for this lady in her home country.
In the trucking industry, there are fake truck driving schools popping up everywhere and they themselves are racist, they will help and "train" others of the same nationality, but wont offer their services to canadians. this is made worse that to pass a truck driving license, they are not required to speak or read english and are allowed to take the test in their native tongue. just imagine, if they cant read or speak basic english, they are driving 80,000lb trucks and cant read our road signs...and this is happening to every industry here.

He's had a rough time since the start of the last election. During thst campagn, things got so bad, he was wearing kevlar everywhere he went. I was horrified for his safety & the trauma he was obviously dealing with to the point where I was agraid to vote for him again, in effect, keeping him in the spotlight. During this campaign, very personal things that have nothing to do with politics wete brouvh up causing what we suspect is a serious rift between Justin & his wife, Sophie as neither were wearing their wedding bands. Then came a fire that put Justins mom, Margaret in the hospital, right before this covid nightmare. Early in this pandemic, Sophie caught covid & that must have been really frightning for Justin & their kids. So now he has to deal with the mess this pandemic has made of the economy & to keep people alive & housed with no income since February. I noticed even as far back as last November that he looked completely exhausted & just emotionally done. I like Justin & I worry about his emotional well being..In my heart, I hope he decides to bow out next election & tries to fix the damage all this has done.

My mother is a family physician, my father is a civil structure engineer. You gave us the opportunity to have this life and education in Canada and we return the favour by doing our part and helping the Canadian people as well. I am also a Muslim, and rather than saying I am a "moderate" Muslim, I say that I am an "actual" Muslim, one that follows the peace and beauty of Islam. I respect Christians and have many wonderful friends. The only muslims who have problems with other religions are the extremists, they are hardly religious themselves since they miss the entire part of the Quran that says to be kind to others, dont judge others, make sure your neighbour has food to eat (in terms of poverty) before you sit down for dinner, RELIGION IS A CHOICE and should NOT be forced etc. I apologize on behalf of those extremists however please understand they are a minority and they are just as much an enemy to muslims as they are to anyone else (plus every religion always has that one group of stupid idiots). This is no longer an issue of Canadian vs other, or Christians vs Muslims. No. This is an issue of humanity vs extremism. I will fight alongside Canadians, as we as my people from my country, AGAINST extremists, no matter which religion they belong to. When I say "fight" I am not referring to violence, I am referring to discussions, debates, teaching and learning, sharing the true values and morals of my community so to spread what Islam really is, so that we can distinguish between religion and extremism (personally, I don't see them as the same thing), and understand that religion should not be an issue for living amongst people, but instead extremism has to be stopped. It was not easy, they were both mature students, over qualified and in a competitive field. Best bet is to aim for universities that accept these students. My dad went to Western Ontario and my mom went to McMaster.

These comments about Trudeau having to go are a little out of hand... Canada has been one of the most peaceful countries in the world for a very long time. I'm a Muslim myself, and I mix in perfectly with my Christian friends. If you don't support Trudeau for other political views, that's fair. But immigration isn't a reason to hate him. Immigrants in Canada have been safe and are grateful for the opportunity to reside in such a peaceful country. Canada has a very low unemployment rate compared to other countries, evidently there are many jobs. "Government handouts" help vulnerable immigrants, mainly refugees, to integrate more quickly, which benefits the country and the economy long-term. So yay Canada

How can you say that? It is true that private firms in a free market economy looks for cheap labour but they don't want to hire immigrants only because they're cheap. Your answer for jobs is in updating your skills for the current market. That might mean perhaps going back to school or taking up classes online. Yes, the market has become more competitive. @@maryanndeweerd2570 They are few among the many. And Canada'a immigration system is even better than the US. Nobody wants extremists and we should do better to help immigrants integrate. Ignoring them, targeting then or isolating them (racially or otherwise) makes things worse.
Nobody is born an extremist. They are made because of their environment, the people around them and their influences growing up. Better education, safer neighborhoods and just the right influences make a huge difference.
